The World is Our Parish: Struggling with Catholicity in Our Western Context
For the annual Winifred E. Weter Faculty Award Lecture for Meritorious Scholarship on Monday, April 10, Professor of Dogmatic and Constructive Theology Daniel Castelo examines the question “What would be involved for western Christians to change course and truly believe, as they confess, that they are part of the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church?
Report on Meteorological Research March 1, 1935 (m-1)
The object of the report was to elucidate in detail the various features of the research program in meteorology being carried on at the Daniel Guggenheim Airship Institute in Akron, Ohio. Mr. L. J. Fangman, of the U.S. Weather Bureau, was collaborating with the author in carrying out work such as a study of autographic records of the various meteorological elements during frontal passages with a view to the possible prediction of the intensity of the accompanying disturbance as it may affect the operation of aircraft and a study of atmospheric gustiness with a view to finding the dependence between frequency end amplitude of velocity fluctuations and the vertical temperature and velocity gradients
(Fourth) Report on Meteorological Activities at the DGAI (8-1-36)(Weather Bureau Copy)
This report is on the investigations of frontal phenomena at the Daniel Guggenheim Airship Institute in Akron, Ohio from January 1, 1935 through August 1, 1936. The investigation was carried out with the cooperation of the U.S. Bureau of Aeronautics, the U.S. Weather Bureau, the California Institute of Technology, and the Guggenheim Airship Institute. Mr. R.C. Robinson of the Weather Bureau cooperated with the author in carrying out the investigation. The object of the investigation was to determine the intensity of the atmospheric disturbances (i.e. rapidity of wind shift and gustiness) accompanying the passage of cold fronts, along with a study of the characteristics of the air masses involved and other features which might affect the intensity of the disturbance. The report treated thirty cold fronts which passed the station during 1935 to 1936

seja, a tríade passado-presente-futuro.
a arquitetura incorpora numa leitura a três dimensões?
The following study seeks to value and requalify the Templar Castle of Castelo Branco,
seeking to rethink the role of a castle in contemporary times. A questioning that, combined
with the need to reinforce the identity of the city of Castelo Branco, involves the
reprogramming of its space centered on the idea of a City Museum in the Templar Castle of
Castelo Branco.
The typologies of Castle and City Museum have a strong aspect in common, time, that is,
the past-present-future triad. The Castle, for participating in the origin of the city, is the
constant that connects the past, the present and the future of it and the City Museum aims
to transmit the values of the city’s identity, approaching the past, present and future under
different points of view. Thus, it seems to us that the best way to revitalize and
refunctionalize a castle in the contemporary world must go through its musealization as a
safeguard of the identity and values of the city to which it originated.
Conceptually, the project started with another questioning, this time about what role does
architecture incorporate in a three-dimensional reading? The answer is explored by adding
a fourth dimension that corresponds to time which, in architecture, corresponds to
movement.
Thus, the definition of the project program was simultaneously created through a narrative
that is architecturally explored by the idea of path. Putting the architect in the role of a
filmmaker who, while still designing architecture, will, at the same time, design an
experience from the perspective of those who experience it and, as such, perceive it. In this
context, Cinema assumes the role of creator of relationships between Architecture and its
dimensions.
The theme addressed in this dissertation explores a range of possibilities for an Architecture
designed in four dimensions and based on narrative, with beginning, middle and end

Fil: Castelo, Leandro Nahuel. Emmett is considered to be the author of the antebellum song "Dixie," written in 1859, which became the unofficial song of the Confederate soldiers during the American Civil War. He was born in Mount Vernon in 1815 and taught himself the fiddle, and later became associated with minstrel shows and helped to define that genre.
