No full textThis feature "ЛѢТОПИСЬ" ('Chronicle') reports on recent events in the field of Early Slavic studies, e.g., celebrations, conferences, symposia, announcements of forthcoming colloquia, and past study groups, etc.The International Symposium "John Exarch of Bulgaria" was held on September 26-29, 1979, in Shumen, Bulgaria. This announcement summarizes and evaluates one third of the papers presented at the symposium on topics ranging from the homilies attributed to John Exarch (JE), John Exarch’s historical and literary context, and translations and normalized editions of works by John Exarch. It is noted that a summary of the other symposium papers could not be published due to time constraints. "Jean L'Exarque en tant que compilateur et traducteur: Problèmes historico-littéraires, textologiques, linguistiques" by Mario Capaldo. Sommaire: 1.
