El fascismo histórico y el ascenso las extremas derechas en la actualidad. Una propuesta de análisis comparado para la enseñanza en el aula

Secretaría de Posgrado; Argentina.La presente es una propuesta de enseñanza que aborda la temática del fascismo en el Siglo XX y propone un abordaje comparativo con el fenómeno actual de emergencia de las extremas derechas a escala global. El trabajo se divide en dos partes. En una primera parte nos centraremos en sintetizar los principales aportes que tomamos, tanto de las teorías didácticas como del campo de la disciplina histórica, para formular nuestra propuesta de enseñanza. En un primer capítulo desarrollamos los principales aportes realizados por algunas líneas de investigación que consideramos que sirven para nuestra propuesta como aquellos relacionados con el desarrollo de competencias en pensamiento histórico, sobre el estudio de problemas socialmente relevantes y sobre la literacidad crítica. En un segundo capítulo desarrollamos los principales debates y contenidos relacionados con el objeto de estudio que nosotros seleccionamos como contenido a enseñar en nuestra propuesta. En este caso se trata de un doble objeto de estudio, puesto que además de seleccionar como contenido “el fascismo histórico”, contenido prescrito en el diseño curricular, nos hemos propuesto ponerlo en tensión con otra problemática de actualidad como es el análisis de las nuevas derechas. En este sentido nos aproximaremos a una definición del fascismo (tomando aportes de autores como Robert Paxton, Enzo Traverso, Federico Finchelstein, etc) desde la cual nos posicionaremos y trataremos de avanzar en una comparación con las extremas derechas actuales, con el objetivo de precisar cuáles son algunas de sus características principales. En una segunda parte de nuestro trabajo, desarrollaremos la propuesta de enseñanza. Esta parte del trabajo a su vez se subdivide en dos apartados. En el primero presentamos la secuencia didáctica con la que pretendemos aportar a la enseñanza de esta temática a la escuela. En el segundo presentamos el material de didáctico a utilizar, organizado en función de la secuencia didáctica. El mismo cuenta con textos de elaborados por el docente, documentos de la época, materiales audiovisuales y fragmentos de entrevistas a historiadores especializados en la temática.Fil: Callido, Ignacio. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. La contribución de la revista Flecha al surgimiento de una cultura antifascista en Córdoba
No full textIn this article we analyze some of the main thematic axes and topics developed in the Flecha review, directed by the Cordoba reformist leader Deodoro Roca, and emerged as a press organ of the Committee for Peace and Freedom of America formed in Córdoba in 1935. A Through the analysis of its 17 editions, we will try to demonstrate how, from its pages, Flecha contributed to delineating, at the local level, some of the main thematic and discursive axes that would characterize the periodical press of Argentine antifascism since the mid-1930s, such as the representation of the criollo fascist, the defense of Western culture, the proposal of the anti-fascist popular front and the intersection between the liberal tradition and socialism.En el presente artículo analizamos algunos de los principales ejes temáticos y tópicos desarrollados en la revista Flecha, dirigida por el referente reformista cordobés Deodoro Roca, y surgida como órgano de prensa del Comité Pro-Paz y Libertad de América formado en Córdoba en 1935. A través del análisis de sus 17 números, intentaremos demostrar cómo desde sus páginas Flecha contribuyó a delinear, a nivel local, algunos de los principales ejes temáticos y discursivos que caracterizarían a la prensa periódica del antifascismo argentino desde mediados de los años ’30, tales como la representación del fascista criollo, la defensa de la cultura occidental, la propuesta del frente popular antifascista y el cruce entre la tradición liberal y el socialismo
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
