No full textA partir de una de las premisas ancilares de la bibliografía material, que establece que las formas de los textos afectan su sentido, proponemos el análisis de cubiertas ilustradas, en tanto cumplen una función prefiguradora e intensificadora del texto. Dado que se trata de un primer discurso gráfico de tipo editorial más que autorial, ejemplificaremos de qué modo las ilustraciones de tapa generan interpretaciones que apuntan a distintos tipos de lectores. El texto seleccionado es una de las últimas novelas de Beatriz Guido, La invitación, publicada por Losada en 1979, por Alianza Editorial en 1982 y por Círculo de Lectores en 1984.According to one of the main concepts of the material bibliography, which states that the format of the book conditions the meaning of the text, we propose the analysis of illustrated covers and book jackets. Because it is a type of graphic discourse, it is closer to editorial design than the author of the text. However, illustrated covers are responsible for different interpretations and are addressed to different kinds of readers. We exemplify this phenomenon with one of the latest novels by Beatriz Guido, The Invitation, published by Losada in 1979, by Alianza Editorial in 1982 and by Círculo de Lectores in 1984Fil: Rodriguez Temperley, Maria Mercedes. Price caps, efficiency payoffs, and infrastructure contract renegotiation in Latin America
No full textTwenty years ago, as the United Kingdom was getting ready to launch the privatization of its public services, Professor Littlechild developed and operationalized the concept of price caps as a regulatory regime to control for residual monopoly conditions in those services. Ten years later, Latin American countries, as they embarked into their own infrastructure reforms, also adopted the price cap regulatory model. Relying on a large data base on the factors driving contract renegotiation in the region and a survey of the literature on efficiency gains, the authors assess the impact of this regulatory regime in Latin America. They show that while the expected efficiency gains were amply achieved, these gains were seldom passed on to the users. Instead they were shared by the government and the firms. Na pesquisa identificaram-se as etapas do processo de implantação de TI na empresa, considerando os impactos técnicos e humanos, estabeleceram-se critérios para identificar a visão dos empregados do setor de registros e a visão da gerente da Divisão de Benefícios e Pagamento de Pessoal perante a nova tecnologia e os impactos causados nos processos e documentos. Após a identificação dos critérios foi possível analisar o processo de implantação de TI e fazer a comparação da visão dos empregados e gerencia. Finalmente identificaram-se os impactos causados aos processos de trabalho e documentos
A transitory regime : water supply in Conakry, Guinea
No full textBoth consumers and the government benefited from reform of the water system in Conakry, Guinea, whose deterioration since independence had become critical by the mid-1980s. Less than 40 percent of Conakry's population had access to piped water - low even by regional standards - and service was intermittent, at best, for the few who had connections. The public agency in charge of the sector was inefficient, overstaffed, and virtually insolvent. In several ways, the reform introduced to the sector in 1989 under a World Bank-led project was remarkable. It showed that even in a weak institutional environment, where contracts are hard to enforce and political interference is common, private sector participation can improve sector performance. The authors discuss the mechanismsthat made progress possible and identify factors that inhibit the positive effects of reform. Water has become very expensive, the number of connections has increased very slowly, and conflicts have developed between SEEG (the private operator) and SONEG (the state agency). Para tanto, analisou-se de que forma a representação de tal espaço torna-o simbólico e, posteriormente, mítico, tanto no conjunto da obra do autor, como também, a partir desse movimento individual de Borges, no imaginário coletivo da cidade. Estudou-se ainda como a memória própria e o imaginário criaram espaços afetivos, que permeiam a totalidade dos textos do autor.Abstract: This study investigates how Jorge Luis Borges builds Sur neighborhood as mythic space in his first three books of poetry. To this end, we analyzed how the representation of such a space make of it a symbolic and later a mythical space, both in the overall work of the author, but also that individual movement of Borges that achieve the collective imagination of the city. Experiências de atenção à saúde e percepções das pessoas transgênero, transexuais e travestis sobre os serviços públicos de saúde em Florianópolis/SC

Na sociedade existe uma ideia prevalente de uma identidade sexual e expressões de gênero imaleáveis, desconsiderando, invisibilizando e excluindo aquelas pessoas que transgredem estes parâmetros socialmente construídos como normais, como no caso da população Trans. Entende-se que a diversidade sexual e de gênero fazem parte das expressões da dimensão sexual humana e, portanto, devem ser respeitadas e consideradas em suas diferenças. No entanto, persistem formas de discriminação contra a população Trans no Brasil nos âmbitos, tanto interpessoais como institucionais e estruturais, alcançando o próprio sistema de saúde. Esta pesquisa se trata de um recorte de um estudo exploratório-descritivo de caráter qualitativo que teve como objetivo discutir e analisar as experiências de atenção à saúde das pessoas transgêneras, transexuais e travestis (Trans) nos diferentes serviços de saúde públicos. Selecionados por conveniência, foram entrevistadas sete (7) pessoas Trans, entre os 22 e 42 anos de idade, onde quatro se auto identificaram como homens, duas como travestis e uma como mulher. Poucas/os delas/es fazem uso do SUS e preferem o uso de serviços particulares e/ou privados. O acesso à saúde se viu limitado por barreiras estruturais, no que se refere ao nome social e ao paradigma hetero-cissexual que permeia as interações desta população com o SUS. É necessário quebrar esses paradigmas e reconstruir a saúde através da diversidade e as suas diversas expressões como parte da complexidade do ser humano.Abstract: Sexuality and gender are factors that influence and determine the overall health of a human being. There is in the society a prevalent idea that sexual identity and gender expressions are inflexible, disregarding, making invisible and excluding those who transgress these sociallyconstructed parameters as normality, as in the case of the Trans population. It understands that sexual and gender diversity are part of the expressions of human sexual dimension and therefore should be respected and considered in their differences. However, forms of discrimination against Trans people in Brazil persist in the interpersonal, institutional and structural areas, reaching the health system itself. This exploratory-descriptive qualitative research, aimed to discuss and analyze the experiences of transgender, transsexuals and transvestites(Trans) community with health care in different public health services and their perceptions of these services. Selected for convenience, were interviewed seven (7) Trans people, between 22 and 42 years old, where four identified themselves as men, two as transvestites and one as awoman. Few of theirs make use of SUS and prefer the use of private services. Respect to hormone therapy, all of them ever self-medicated and currently the vast majority continue doing this practice. In the reports was perceived prejudice and discrimination by the professionals and/or employees of both SUS and private services. Access to health care was seen limited by structural barriers in regard to the use of the social name and the hetero-cissexual paradigm that permeates the interactions of this population with SUS. It is necessary to break these paradigms and rebuild health through diversity and its various expressions as part of the complexity of human beings
Evaluación del grado de satisfacción del usuario interno del Centro de Salud Familiar de Putaendo
No full textEsta tesis fue creada con el fin de evaluar el grado de satisfacción de un determinado grupo de personas, e identificar factores principales que influyen en él.
El estudio consta de una entrevista a la encargada de la Unidad de Gestión Administrativa del Centro de Salud Familiar, seguida de una encuesta aplicada a los funcionarios de planta y contrata de la institución.
Toda esta investigación se resume en que se obtiene el grado de satisfacción del usuario interno del Centro de Salud Familiar de Putaendo y se logra identificar los principales factores con peor evaluación. Finalmente, se menciona una serie de recomendaciones para mejorar los factores más débiles
