en 2016, apenas asumió su nuevo mandato. Estudia diferentes discursos enunciados por funcionarios
públicos y por el gobernador, registrados como partes de prensa en la página oficial de la administración
provincial. Se abordó, de manera global y local, cada uno de los discursos, en su estructura textual y en la
construcción semántica del término política de seguridad. Al mismo tiempo, da cuenta de las prácticas
discursivas y sociales que esos enunciados habilitan, desplazan, o contradicen en relación con las representaciones que se tiene de la seguridad. Se ponen de manifiesto tres aspectos presentes en el Plan: la idea de comunidad y de participación ciudadana, la configuración socio-espacial que se produjo en la ciudad de

and by the governor, registered as press reports on the official website of the provincial administration. The
analysis consisted on approaching globally and locally each one of the discourses, in its textual structure
and its semantic construction of the term security policy and, at the same time, giving an account of the
discursive and social practices that these statements enable, displace, or contradict in relation to the representations that people have of security. Beyond reactivity: the creation of a proximity policing subject in Córdoba, Argentina
No full textEn este artículo abordaremos el proceso de creación e implementación de la división de Policía Barrial en la provincia de Córdoba. Este nuevo modelo de policiamiento del espacio urbano se enmarca en el Plan Integral de Seguridad Ciudadana y Prevención del Delito. A partir de un enfoque etnográfico y de la realización de entrevistas en profundidad a agentes de la Barrial, directores de la División y funcionarios del Gobierno Provincial, analizaremos el proceso de construcción de un sujeto policial de proximidad (Sirimarco 2006; Goldin 2020). Las dimensiones que abordaremos se relacionan con el modo de actuación de la barrial en el espacio urbano, las tácticas policiales que los agentes despliegan y las tareas que desarrollan en su cotidianeidad. Además, analizaremos la incorporación de la ciudadanía tanto en el abordaje de la seguridad y del delito como en las tácticas policiales. Y, por último, presentaremos algunas lecturas alrededor de la categoría de riesgo y las estrategias de recolección de la información.In this article we will address the process of creation and implementation of the “Policía Barrial” division in the province of Córdoba. This new model of urban policing is part of the “Plan Integral de Seguridad Ciudadana y Prevención del Delito”. Using an ethnographic approach and in-depth interviews with “Policía Barrial” officers, directors of the Division and officials of the Provincial Government, we will analyse the process of construction of a community policing subject (Sirimarco 2006; Goldin 2020). The dimensions that we will address are related to the way in which this division operates in the urban space, the police tactics that the agents deploy and the tasks that they carry out in their daily lives. In addition, we will analyse the incorporation of citizens in the approach to security and crime, as well as in police tactics. The Police Force as an Object of Study. Methodological and Epistemological Reflections
Full text linkLas reflexiones aquí propuestas son tanto de índole metodológica como epistemológica. El objetivo consiste en indagar, a partir de esas dos dimensiones, la fuerza policial como objeto de estudio desde un enfoque antropológico. Por reflexiones metodológicas, entiendo a aquellas discusiones que giran en torno a cuáles son las técnicas de investigación que el paradigma cualitativo habilita para el estudio de la Policía en este caso. En este sentido, abordaré la estrategia de entrevista, pero no solamente el momento puntual de ésta, sino dar cuenta de las negociaciones y discusiones previas al momento. Se abordarán las circunstancias que hicieron posible el discurso enunciado por un agente de la Fuerza Policial Antinarcotráfico de la Policía de la provincia de Córdoba (Argentina), en consideración del contexto en el que se desarrolló. Este contexto estuvo marcado por el Aislamiento Social Preventivo y Obligatorio por la pandemia del COVID-19, lo cual llevó a que la entrevista ocurriera en un entorno virtual. Además, tuvo lugar después del asesinato de Blas Correas a manos de agentes de la Policía de Córdoba, constituyéndose como un terreno fértil para la indagación. En este análisis, también se prestará atención a los silencios, las jerarquías de mando y quiénes son los legitimados dentro de la fuerza para comunicar hacia el afuera. Por otro lado, presentaré algunas reflexiones epistemológicas al reconstruir las condiciones de posibilidad de la institución policial en tanto objeto de estudio de las Ciencias Sociales. Esto nos permitirá arriesgar lecturas acerca de cómo abordar este objeto de estudio que, en los imaginarios de las ciencias sociales, aparece como inaccesible debido a la propia naturaleza cerrada y jerárquica de las fuerzas de seguridad.The reflections proposed here are both methodological and epistemological in nature. The aim is to investigate, on the basis of these two dimensions, the police force as an object of study from an anthropological approach. By methodological reflections, I mean those discussions that revolve around the research techniques that the qualitative paradigm enables for the study of the police in this case. In this sense, I will address the interview strategy, but not only the specific moment of the interview, but also the negotiations and discussions prior to the moment. The circumstances that made possible the discourse enunciated by an agent of the Anti-Narcotics Police Force of the Police of the Province of Cordoba (Argentina) will be addressed, considering the context in which it was developed. This context was marked by the Preventive and Compulsory Social Isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which meant that the interview took place in a virtual environment. Moreover, it took place after the murder of Blas Correas at the hands of agents of the Cordoba Police, constituting fertile ground for investigation. This analysis will also pay attention to the silences, the hierarchies of command and who is legitimised within the force to communicate to the outside world. On the other hand, I will present some epistemological reflections by reconstructing the conditions of possibility of the police institution as an object of study of the social sciences. This will allow us to risk readings on how to approach this object of study which, in the imaginary of social sciences, appears inaccessible due to the closed and hierarchical nature of the security forces.Fil: Caccia, Ana Clara. Una práctica de frontera: Las prácticas de responsabilidad social universitaria en la disputa con la gestión neoliberal de la ciencia
No full textEste capítulo se centra en una reflexión sobre las prácticas de extensión, transferencia o responsabilidad social universitaria (en adelante RSU). Más que resolver -en primera instancia- el nombre con el que nos referimos a ellas , preferimos que las palabras decanten tras la opción por ubicarlas siempre en el campo de la batalla en contra y más allá de las formas instituidas por el neoliberalismo para ordenar el mundo de la producción, distribución, uso y apropiación del conocimiento. Así, la principal tesis que sostenemos es que nuestras prácticas de responsabilidad social universitaria representan impulsos de apertura de ?espacios contratendenciales? que habilitan y habitan la posibilidad ?resaltamos la idea de posibilidad, mas no la certeza? de mutar los actuales modos de producción, distribución y apropiación de saberes en la era neoliberal. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
