Deseori tratamentul cariei dentare la copii prezintă dificultăţi din cauza factorilor psihoemoţionali exprimaţi. Pentru atenuarea lor au fost propuse metode mai lejere de tratament. Lucrul în exclusivitate cu instrumentariu manual, fără freze, permite atenuarea considerabilă a anxietăţii faţă de intervenţia stomatologică. Cu scop de remineralizare a ţesuturilor dure dentare a fost utilizată hidroxiapatita colagenică „LitAr”
Aspects of Treatment of Dental Caries in the Permanent Teeth Eruption Prefunctional Stage

The presented work describes the combination of two methods: mechanochemical removal of dental caries consisting in the chemical emollescence thereof with further excavation and atraumatic restorative therapy, foreseeing the exclusive use of manual instruments and restoration of the formed cavity with glassionomer cements. With a to remineralization view of dental hard tissues it was used the “LitAr” collagenic hydroxyapatite.
Deseori tratamentul cariei la copii prezintă dificultăţi din cauza factorilor psihoemoţionali exprimaţi. Pentru atenuarea lor au fost propuse metode netradiţionale, mai lejere, de tratament. Lucrul în exclusivitate cu instrumentariu manual, fără freze, permite atenuarea considerabilă a anxietăţii faţă de intervenţia stomatologică.
În lucrare sunt descrise combinarea a două metode: înlăturarea chimico – mecanică a dentinei cariate, ce constă în emolierea chimică a acesteea cu excavarea ulterioară şi terapia atraumatică restaurativă, ce prevede utilizarea în exclusivitate a instrumentariului manual şi restaurarea cavităţii formate cu cimenturi glassionomere. În scopul remineralizării ţesuturilor dure dentare a fost utilizată hidroxiapatita colagenică „LitAr”
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Remedii utilizate în terapia remineralizantă a smalțului dentar
Get PDFBackground. Dental remineralization is defined as the process whereby calcium and phosphate ions are
supplied from a surce external to the tooth such as saliva or biofilm into partially demineralized tooth
structures. This process can occur naturally or be induced by therapies. Objective of the
study. Evaluation of remineralizing therapies in the light of its composition and mechanism of
action. Material and Methods. The study of different remedies with remineralizing properties
depending on the manufacturer, mechanism of action, chemical composition . Study of scientific
literature, researches and publications. Results. According to this research, was found that
remineralizing strategies have significantly progressed in recent years. The classical treatment with
different fluorides in remineralizing therapy is still proving to be effective and used in modern practice,
but also there are various new effective technologies that can't be neglected. The most relevant being
calcium and phosphate-based systems, such as Self-assembling Peptides P11-4 from Curolox
technology, the CPP-ACP: Casein Phosphopeptide–Amorphous Calcium Phosphate from Recaldent
technology, nanohydroxyapatite, xylitol and others, which represent the future of what we know about
the formation of a biomimetic enamel matrix. Conclusion. Remineralizing strategies have significantly
progressed. Most of these therapies prolong the supersaturation periods by creating stable systems
capable of supplying bioavailable calcium, phosphate directly to the lesion, due to which the concept of
remineralizing therapy may be expanded.
Introducere. Remineralizarea dentară este definită ca proces prin care ionii de calciu și fosfor sunt
furnizați dintr-o sursă externă precum saliva sau biofilmul dentar pentru a promova depunerea lor în
smalțul demineralizat. Acest proces poate decurge natural sau poate fi indus prin remedii
speciale. Scopul lucrării. Evaluarea preparatelor remineralizante prin prisma compoziției sale și
mecanismului de acțiune. Material și Metode. S-a efectuat studiul diferitor remedii cu proprietăți
remineralizatorii în dependență de producător, mecanism de acțiune și compoziție chimică. Studiul
literaturii științifice, cercetări și publicații. Rezultate. Conform acestei cercetări, s-a constatat că la
momentul actual remediile remineralizatorii au evoluat considerabil. Tratamentul uzual cu diferite
fluoruri în terapia reminaralizantă încă se dovedește a fi efectiv și întrebuințat în practica modernă, dar
de asemenea au apărut diferite tehnologii noi eficiente care nu pot fi neglijate. Cele mai relevante fiind
sistemele bazate pe calciu-fosfat, precum oligopeptida P11-4 din tehnologia Curolox, complexul de
CPP-ACP: fosfopeptida de cazeină - fosfat de calciu amorf din tehnologia Recaldent,
nanohidroxiapatita, xilitolul și altele, ce reprezintă viitorul în ceea ce cunoaștem noi despre formarea
unei matrice biomimetice a smalțului. Concluzii. Tehnologiile remineralizante au progresat
semnificativ, aceste terapii prelungesc perioadele de suprasaturare și crează sisteme stabile capabile să
furnizeze calciu, fosfor biodisponibil direct la smalțul deminerazat, prin care conceptul terapiei
remineralizante se poate lărgi
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Get PDFWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
