PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN TES PENEMPATAN BERBANTU KOMPUTER UNTUK ANAK USIA 6-12 TAHUN DI LEMBAGA KURSUS BAHASA INGGRIS

penempatan berbantu komputer untuk anak usia 6-12 tahun di lembaga
kursus bahasa Inggris. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan di lembaga
kursus Cambridge School of English cabang Jatiwarna, Bekasi. Penelitian
pengembangan ini dilakukan karena adanya masalah keberagaman tingkat
kemampuan bahasa Inggris siswa dalam satu level pembelajaran khususnya
level untuk anak usia 6-12 tahun. Hal ini disebabkan karena siswa tidak dites
kemampuannya secara khusus melainkan hanya dilakukan observasi oleh
guru (trial) sehingga proses pembelajaran mengalami kendala. Penelitian
mengacu pada kombinasi model pengembangan Borg dan Gall dan model
pengembangan instrumen M. Atwi Suparman. Tahapannya yaitu penelitian
dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, pengembangan bentuk awal
produk, uji lapangan awal, revisi produk utama, uji lapangan utama, revisi
produk operasional, uji lapangan operasional, dan revisi produk akhir. Pada
tahap pengembangan bentuk awal produk digunakan tahapan model
pengembangan instrumen M. Atwi Suparman yang meliputi tahap membuat
tabel spesifikasi, menulis butir tes, merakit tes, menulis petunjuk, dan menulis
kunci jawaban, sehingga tahapannya lebih spesifik pada produk yang
dikembangkan. Instrumen tes penempatan ini telah melalui tahap evaluasi
expert review yang dilakukan oleh dua orang ahli materi, dua orang ahli
evaluasi, dan satu orang ahli desain visual. Tahap evaluasi small group yang
dilakukan oleh responden yaitu calon siswa usia 6-12 tahun yang akan
belajar di lembaga kursus. Tahap evaluasi field test yang dilakukan oleh
responden sejenis. Instrumen tersebut telah melalui prosedur pengembangan
yang sistematis dan memenuhi persyaratan evaluasi sehingga dapat
digunakan untuk menempatkan calon siswa usia 6-12 tahun di lembaga
kursus bahasa Inggris.
This research and development purposes to produce a computer-assisted
placement test instrument for 6-12 year children in an English course. It’s
conducted at Cambridge School of English course branches Jatiwarna,
Bekasi. It’s conducted because there’s a problem of diversity of students’
English proficiency in the same level specially in the levels for 6-12 year
children. It’s because the students are not specifically tested for their english
proficiency but simply observed by the teacher (trial) so that the learning
process constrained. This research and development refers to the
combination of Borg and Gall development model and M. Atwi Suparman
instrument development model. The stages are research and information
collecting, planning, develop preliminary form of product, preliminary field
testing, main product revision, main field testing, operational product revision,
operational field testing, and final product revision. In the develop preliminary
form of product stage used the M. Atwi. Suparman instrument development
model stages which includes the stages of creating a table of spesification,
writing test items, assambling the test, writing test instructions, and writing
answer key, so it’s more specific to the product. This placement test
instrument has been evaluated in expert review stage by two material
experts, two evaluation experts, and a visual design expert. In small group
stage by the respondents who are the students that will be studying at the
English course. In field test stage by the similar respondents. The instrument
has been through a systematic development procedure and met the
requirements of evaluation so it can be used to place the 6-12 year students
in English course
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
