DUNIA MAGIS DALAM CERPEN LEAK PEMOROAN KARYA I WAYAN SADHA
of the occult not only lived in the past but penetrated freely until Era 4.0. Although the development of the world has advanced in such a way as with the sophistication of its technology, the belief in supernatural and magical things cannot be erased. The magical world has its own charms and problems in the lives of Balinese people. Undeniably, the attractiveness often invites the attention of the author in welcoming and recording the phenomenon into literary works. In this paper examines modern Balinese literary works in the form of short stories. The short stories studied were taken from a collection of Leak Pemoroan stories written by I Wayan Sadha. This study examines three short stories in a collection of Pemoroan Leak short stories entitled Jeg Pragat Ka Balian, Pemoroan Leak and Walik Sumpah. The focus of the discussion in this paper is to raise the magical aspects contained in the three short stories that have been mentioned. The magical aspects to be discussed are the Pangiwa aspect and the Panengen aspect contained in the short story.Keywords: Magic, Pangiwa, Panengen, Short Story, modern Balinese literatur
Spiritual motivation, work culture and work ethos as predictors on merchant satisfaction through service quality of street vendors in Badung market, Bali, Indonesia
The real growth of the economy of street vendors in Badung Market, Bali has been increasing rap-idly from year to year. Based on spiritual motivation, work culture and work ethos, and supported by the level of service quality and customer satisfaction, the research was conducted in relation to spiritual motivation, work culture and work ethos as predictors of merchant satisfaction through service quality of street vendors in Badung market. The population of the research was the entire street vendors in Badung Market. The numbers of qualified sample were 140 respondents. The var-iable measurement was conducted by using the Likert scale. The study used the structural equation modeling (SEM) for model analysis. The results showed that the effect of spiritual Motivation variable on Service Quality variable was significant and positive. The effect of work Culture variable on Service Quality variable is significant positive. The effect of Work Ethos variable on Service Quality variable is significant and positive. Spiritual Motivation latent variable on Merchants Satisfaction variable is significant and positive. The effect of Work Culture variable on Merchants Satisfaction variable is significant and positive. The effect of Work Ethic variable on Merchants Satisfaction variable is significant and positive. The effect of Service Quality variable on Merchants Satisfaction variable is significant and positive. Thus, It can be stated that the merchant satisfaction changes are affected by spiritual motivation, work culture, work ethos and that the street vendor improve service quality
The Effect of Service Quality, Management Information System and Passport Administration Rates on Public Satisfaction with Education as an Intervening Variable in the Task Area of Class II Immigration Office Tanjung Balai Karimun
Information was found regarding complaints regarding slow operational access to online services, tariff provisions that must be paid, and not having received education about M-Paspor, Eazy and other online systems. This research using a quantitative approach concludes that service quality, passport processing fees and public education have a significant direct influence on public satisfaction. Meanwhile, the management information system has no significant direct effect on public satisfaction and service quality has no significant direct effect on public education. Then the management information system and passport processing fees have a significant direct influence on public education. Furthermore, public education is not able to intervene in the influence of service quality and management information systems on public satisfaction, but public education is able to intervene in the influence of passport processing fees on public satisfaction as a partial mediation (intervening) variable. It is recommended to the Head of the Class II Tanjung Balai Karimun Immigration Office to: optimize the implementation of education to the public regarding the service system and tariffs and strive to improve the quality of service, the effectiveness of implementing the management information system related to passport processing
Analysis of work life balance, job satisfaction and its effect on the performance of employees of the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of the Riau Islands Province
Purpose: This study analyzes the influence of work-life balance, work environment, and workload on performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable on employees of the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of the Riau Islands Province.
Results: Using primary data from 120 employees, this study found that work-life balance and workload have a significant influence on performance through the results of the path coefficient, meaning that the job satisfaction variable can mediate the influence of endogenous variables of work-life balance and workload on the performance variable. This can be explained by the fact that with the mediation of job satisfaction, when there is an increase in work-life balance and workload, employee performance will increase. The Work Environment does not have a significant influence on performance based on the results of the path coefficient, meaning that the job satisfaction variable cannot mediate the influence of the work environment variable on the performance variable. This can be explained by the fact that with the mediation of job satisfaction, when there is an increase in the work environment, it will not have an impact on increasing employee performance
The influence of motivation, organizational commitment and workload on job satisfaction of regional officials with competency as an intervening variable in the Regional Financial and Asset Agency of Riau Islands Province
Purpose: This study analyzes the influence of motivation, organizational commitment, and workload on the job satisfaction of regional officials, with competency as an intervening variable in the Riau Islands Province Regional Financial and Asset Agency. In 2023, 11,380 files (49.26 %) experienced delays in processing from SPP to SP2D for 3 – 10 days.
Research Methodology: Using primary data from 143 employees, this study found that motivation had no significant direct effect on job satisfaction. On the other hand, motivation, commitment, and workload have been proven to have a significant influence on competence, highlighting the importance of motivation to improve employee performance. Competence has also been proven to be a significant mediator between motivation, commitment, and workload and job satisfaction.
Recommendation: The proposed recommendation is to focus on increasing work motivation and other aspects that have a more direct influence on employee satisfaction to increase job satisfaction
The influence of leadership, remuneration, competency on employee turnover intention with organizational culture as an intervening variable at Bank Ekonomi Rakyat Sejahtera Batam
Purpose: This study analyzes the influence of leadership, remuneration, and competence on employee turnover intention in the BPR Sejahtera Batam, with organizational culture as an intervening variable. In the last five years, turnover intention in BPR Sejahtera Batam has increased significantly, reaching 21.05% by 2023.
Research Methodology: In this study, an inductive approach was used, based on a theory development approach. Based on the time of implementation, researchers obtain data by cross section. Driving Forces for the zakat industry are identified based on the results of the PESTEL and Porter Five Forces analysis obtained from the interview process to the interviewees identified 29 driving forces for the Zakat Industry.
Results: Using primary data from 111 employees, this study found that leadership and competence did not have a significant effect on turnover intention either directly or through organizational culture. By contrast, remuneration was shown to have a significant effect, highlighting the importance of compensation in employees' decisions to stay or leave the company. Organizational culture was also not a significant mediator between remuneration and turnover intentions.
Recommendation: The proposed recommendation focuses on improving the quality of remuneration and other aspects that have a more direct effect on employee satisfaction and welfare to reduce turnover intention.

This work introduces and examines a modified Vicsek model of collective motion, enhanced with alignment-induced local attractive and repulsive interactions. Numerical simulations demonstrate that such a system spontaneously forms stable clusters with a characteristic size determined by the interaction radius. The results show that group cohesion can be achieved even without periodic boundary conditions and by using using finite-range interactions that are reasonable from a biological perspective. Nursing services are very important and goal-oriented services that focus on the implementation of nursing care. Improving the quality of nursing services is a challenge for nurses because nurses are professional staff who have the longest contact with patients, in contrast to medical services and other health services which only require a relatively short time to provide health services to their clients. This research is used for explanatory purposes ( explanatory or confirmatory), namely explaining the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. This research is correlational in nature, namely research that attempts to see whether two or more variables are related and what direction the relationship takes. Based on the results of the research data analysis above, a conclusion can be made in this research as follows: Leadership Style has a significant influence on Self-Efficacy. Career level does not have a significant influence on Self-Efficacy. Work Environment has a significant influence on Self-Efficacy. Leadership Style has a significant influence on Job Satisfaction. The influence of the e-performance appraisal system, education and competence on employee performance through spiritual motivation in the regional office of the Ministry of Religion Riau Islands Province
Purpose: This study aimed to determine and analyze the influence of the e-performance assessment system, education, and competencmployee showsrformance on spiritual motivation at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of the Riau Isla, Nds Province.
Research Methodology: In this study, 104 respondents were used, namely, the State Civil Apparatus (PNS and PPPK) at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Riau Islands Province. The data obtained were analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0.
Results: The results of this study indicate that the e-performance assessment system on employee performance has an original sample value of 0.161, a T statistic value of 2,013> 1.96 and a P value of 0.045 <0.05, it can be concluded that it has a significant effect, education on employee performance has an original sample value of 0.138, a T statistic value of 1,227 <1.96 and a P value of 0.220> 0.05, it can be concluded that it has no significant effect, competence on employee performance has an original sample value of 0.107, a T statistic value of 0.999 <1.96 and a P value of 0.318> 0.05, it can be concluded that it has no significant effect, spiritual motivation on employee performance has an original sample value of 0.551, a T statistic value of 5,636> 1.96 and a P value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that it has a significant effect, the e-performance assessment system towards spiritual motivation has an original sample value of 0.322, a T statistic value of 3.392> 1.96 and a P value of 0.001 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect, education on spiritual motivation has an original sample value of 0.231, a T statistic value of 1.994> 1.96 and a P value of 0.047 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect, competence on spiritual motivation has an original sample value of 0.299, a T statistic value of 2.792> 1.96 and a P value of 0.005 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect, the e-performance assessment system on employee performance through spiritual motivation has an original sample of 0.178, a T statistic value of 3.059> 1.96 and a P Value of 0.002 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive effect, education on employee performance through spiritual motivation has an original sample of 0.127, T statistic value 1.693 < 1.96 and P Value 0.091 > 0.05, it can be concluded that it has a positive but insignificant effect, competence on employee performance through spiritual motivation has an original sample of 0.165, T statistic value 2.507 > 1.96 and P Value 0.013 < 0.05, it can be concluded that it has a positive and significant effect
The influence of communication, coordination, and bureaucratic leadership style in the planning, research, and development agency through interpersonal perception on the job satisfaction of regional apparatus employees in the Riau Islands Provincial Government
Purpose: This study analyzes the influence of communication, coordination, and bureaucratic leadership style on the job satisfaction of regional apparatus employees, with interpersonal perception as an intervening variable, within the Planning, Research, and Development Agency of the Riau Islands Province. The 2022 Performance Achievement Evaluation Report for the Riau Islands Province in the implementation of regional government affairs reveals that several regional development programs and performance indicators (outcomes) have not yet fully achieved 100% of their targets.
Results: Using primary data from 105 employees, this study found that coordination does not have a significant direct effect on interpersonal perception. In contrast, communication and bureaucratic leadership style have a significant influence on interpersonal perception, highlighting the importance of coordination in improving job satisfaction among employees. Interpersonal perception also proved to be a significant mediator between communication and bureaucratic leadership style on job satisfaction.
Recommendation: The recommended focus is to enhance coordination and other aspects that have a more direct impact on interpersonal perception to improve job satisfaction among regional apparatus employees
