Heuristic Schelling: economy of organized crime
This article proposes a reading of the armed conflict from an evolutionary design that takes into account the concept of private protection agencies in the works of Schelling. Their aim is to assess the dynamics of conflict and changes from its author's scientific output. A context of conflicts that includes new expressions of violence and the relative failure of the paramilitary reintegration involves using new analytical models (argumentation, game theory and inconsistent information). The recent evolution of emerging gangs and their expansion into areas that were paramilitary camps requires monitoring not only of the government and the authorities, but those investigating the conflict in the present tense. The author provides heuristic research support from Schelling’s theory of strategy, recent contributions to the relationship between organized crime and drug cartels.Colombia, Government, Civil War, Latin America, Security, Protection Agencies.

Talking about God from the Meaning of Life: Contributions from the Thought of Juan Antonio Estrada
Juan Antonio Estrada, a Spanish philosopher and theologian, proposes the search for meaning in life as the theological place for a valid experience of God. The “achieved” or fully realized life, to which every human being aspires, is the proposal of salvation that Jesus makes possible with the proclamation of the Reign and that opens a hopeful future with Easter. By bringing reason and faith into dialogue, Estrada contributes to fundamental theology by talking about God, not from the traditional concepts of classical theology, but from the human experience related to the search for a deep meaning for existence. Although this author emphasizes the elements of a problematic faith with unresolved issues and doubts – including the timeless challenge of theodicy – his agonizing and perplexed position is full of confidence in the certainty that God’s salvation plan will inevitably come true. In this contingent life, everything remains incomplete; yet God in Jesus gives the ultimate meaning for life that all human beings grope for. This fundamental issue of human reflection will be developed by going deeper into Estrada’s philosophical and theological work
The logic of the violence in the civil war: the armed conflict in Colombia
This paper proposes a reading of the armed conflict from an evolutionary design that takes into account the Logic of Violence in the Civil War.
Who, where and how is the Black woman in Brazilian literature and society? This search arose from such questions. To answer them, I have completed a comprehensive study of women's achievements in the twentieth century, particularly in academia, through which I have noted, among other things, the need for gender to join discussions on race, class, and/or ethnicity. The main purpose of this work is to identify the representation of gender and race in the books Úrsula and of shortstory "A escrava" (2004), by Maria Firmina dos Reis (nineteenth century); Quarto de despejo: mémorias de uma favelada (1960), by Carolina Maria de Jesus; Ponciá Vicêncio (2003) and Becos da memória (2006), by Conceição Evaristo; and As mulheres de Tijucopapo (1982), O lago encantado de Grongonzo (1992) and Obsceno abandono: amor e perda (2002), by Marilene Felinto. Search for a better understanding of the social and literary condition of the Black woman in Brazilian society in the nineteenth through the twenty-first centuries. And also to reflect on the condition of Black women in literature and society, studying their presence as subjects and objects of their writing
