Kemudian pada bab kedua penulis menyampaikan tinjauan teoretis tentang pendidikan Islam. Dilanjutkan pembahasan mengenai tinjauan teoretis tentang kurban menurut Islam pada bab ketiga. Selanjutnya, pada bab keempat penulis menyajikan sejarah ibadah kurban menurut Q.S. al-Ṣaffāt/37: 100-108. Barulah kemudian menganalisis nilai pendidikan Islam dalam sejarah tersebut pada bab kelima. Terakhir pada bab keenam penulis menjelaskan relevansi nilai pendidikan Islam dalam sejarah ibadah kurban dengan peraktik pendidikan modern

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed.     Pengaruh Kegiatan Ice Breaking Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam di UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu

    Abstract: This research aims to determine: (1) The application of ice breaking activities in Islamic Religious Education learning at UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu; (2) student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education learning at UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu, and (3) the influence of ice breaking activities on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education learning at UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu. This research uses quantitative methods with a pedagogical approach. The primary data source consists of informants from the principal and teachers of UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu in Maros. Secondary data sources are taken from various books, journals and other scientific works as a theoretical basis. Data was collected using observation, questionnaire and documentation techniques and then analyzed using hypothesis testing analysis techniques. The results of the research show the results of the correlation test on 28 questionnaire question items for the ice breaking activity variable (X) and 10 questionnaire question items for student learning outcome variables. It can be concluded that all question items in the dimensions whose correlations were tested were declared valid. The learning outcomes of class V B students after implementing ice breaking activities in Islamic Religious Education learning at UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu were in the very high category with 20 students and 11 students in the high category. By obtaining the calculated r value > r table (r table 0.355), it can be concluded that H1 is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the ice breaking activity variable on the learning outcomes of class VB students at UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Penerapan kegiatan ice breaking pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu; (2) hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu, dan (3) pengaruh kegiatan ice breaking terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan pedagogic. Sumber data primer terdiri atas informan dari kepala sekolah dan guru UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu di Maros. Sumber data sekunder diambil dari berbagai buku, jurnal dan karya ilmiah lainnya sebagai landasan teori. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik observasi, angket dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil uji correlations pada 28 item pertanyaan angket variabel kegiatan ice breaking (X) dan 10 item pertanyaan angket variabel hasil belajar siswa, dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa seluruh item pertanyaan dalam dimensi yang diuji correlationsnya dinyatakan valid. Hasil belajar siswa kelas V B setelah penerapan kegiatan ice breaking pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bulu di kategorikan sangat tinggi sebanyak 20 siswa dan kategori tinggi sebanyak 11 siswa. Dengan diperoleh nilai r hitung > r tabel (r tabel 0,355), sehingga dapat disimpulkann bahwa H1 diterima yang berarti terdapat pengaruh variabel kegiatan ice breaking terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V B UPTD SDN 57 Bulu-Bul

    Abstract: This study aims to: (1) To obtain information about the views of critical education on the student learning process, (2) To obtain information about the implementation of the concept of critical education in the learning process in the perspective of Islamic education in Madrasah Aliyah Makassar. The results of the study show: (1) Critical education based on the concept of learning is education that aims to develop and maximize students' critical thinking skills in examining phenomena and problems contained in the subject matter, (2) Islamic education views on the concept of critical education in The learning process is the development of students not only covering aspect ratios, but its development is integrated with emotional and spiritual aspects and a teacher cannot impose his will on students, but a teacher must try to develop the potentials possessed by students.     Abstract: This research aims to analyze the effect of using technology-based learning media in improving student learning outcomes. With the rapid development of information technology, the use of digital media in the learning process is becoming increasingly relevant. This research uses quantitative methods by showing learning videos. Data is collected through questionnaires to measure learning outcomes. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence of the use of technology-based learning media on student learning outcomes. Apart from that, the use of technology-based learning media also makes it easier for students to access learning videos or teaching materials on the internet which will make it easier for students in the teaching and learning process. The conclusion of this research confirms that the integration of technology-based learning media can be an effective strategy for improving student learning outcomes. Recommendations for further implementation in the educational curriculum are also presented, in order to maximize the potential of technology in learning. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Dengan perkembangan informasi teknologi yang pesat, penggunaan media digital dalam proses pembelajaran menjadi semakin relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menayangkan video pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner untuk mengukur hasil belajar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Selain itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasisi teknologi juga memudahkan peserta didik untuk mengakses vidio pembelajaran ataupun bahan ajar di internet yang akan memudahkan peserta didik dalam proses belajar mengajar.  Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Rekomendasi untuk penerapan lebih lanjut dalam kurikulum pendidikan juga disampaikan, guna memaksimalkan potensi teknologi dalam pembelajaran.   Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik, Media Pembelajran Berbasis Teknolog

    Variations on the Author

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
