An analysis on attacker actions in fingerprint-copy attack in source camera identification
Multimedia forensics deals with the analysis of multimedia data to gather information on their origin and authenticity through the use of specific tools. At this point an important question arises: how much reliable are these algorithms? In this work we have considered the technique presented in [1] where it is shown how source camera identification can be attacked. In particular, the problem investigated concerns the situation when an adversary estimates the sensor fingerprint from a set of images belonging to the person he wants to frame and superimposes it onto an image acquired by a different camera to charge the innocent victim as the author of that photo. In [1], a countermeasure against such attack, named Triangle Test, is introduced. In this paper we have analyzed if a more sophisticated action of the attacker can invalidate such countermeasure. Experimental results are provided to prove how hacker's action could be improved
Povijest znanosti i prirodne filozofije u Hrvata (s osobitim obzirom na egzaktne znanosti) Knjiga III Rani novi vijek
This volume (The Early Modern Period) is the third part of The History of Science and Natural Philosophy among the Croats (with particular reference to the exact sciences) by academician Žarko Dadić. The first two volumes were The Middle Ages (2015) and The Renaissance (2016). Volume I covered the Middle Ages up to 1526, and Volume II the period from 1526 to the end of the sixteenth century. The third part covers events from 1600 to 1699. According to the author, “the 17th century, though considered part of late medieval times, can also be identified as the Early Modern Age. In philosophical and scientific terms, it was a particular age which differed from the Renaissance and in which the foundations of completely new philosophical and scientific attitudes were laid”. 8
NICKNAMES IN NOVI VINODOLSKI
The nicknames of the Novljan area that includes Krmpote and surrounding villages, Klenovica, Povile, Ledenice and Ledenice villages, Zagona and Zagon villages were noted by the author to amend the article ”Novljan’s nicknames” by Svetozar Zorčić in the Novljan anthology IV, Novi Vinodolski 2004. Nicknames appear as a need to distinguish between large numbers of families – tribes that carry the same surname- and to distinguish family and individual nicknames according to locality. The most numerous nicknames are from Krmpote. They are taken out of the sixteen family names

During this time, I examined over three thousand books, where I discovered about twenty ex-libris - book slips- and numerous stamped and handwritten ex-libris, which are not the focus of this work. Of the twenty ex-libris found among the books in the library of the Jewish community in Novi Sad, we selected fourteen illustrations, with two book lists that belonged to notable individuals from Novi Sad being particularly interesting: Alfred Rosenzweig, alias Nenad Mitrov, and Dr. Leo Fischer" (author).Fotokopija (photocopy)

Factors causing the death of Kabesak (Acacia leucophloea Roxb. Willd.) seedlings in the monsoon tropical forest of Timor Island
Regeneration of kabesak (Acacia leucophloea) in the primary forest of the Timor Island regenerationis dominated by tree stands than seedlings and saplings. Seedling and sapling supplies are very important for regulating or maintaining plant populations and their adaptation to environmental changes. This study aims to determine the effect of shades, herbivores, and seedlings height on the survival and growth of Kabesak seedlings in natural forests in Timor Island. The research was conducted in dry season, from July to December 2020. The stages in this study were determining the research location and selecting kabesak seedlings that grew in nature, marking and measuring of height of the selected kabesak seedlings. Data collection was done eight times with interval of three weeks including number of dead seedling and number of leaves for live seedlings. The results showed that the presence of shade can reduce the effects of drought, thereby increasing the survival of seedlings in the natural habitat of deciduous tropical forests. Apart from shading factors, seedling height during the dry season also affect the survival of kabesak seedlings, where there was no dead seedling with 15 cm or more height. The herbivores in this study were not found to be the main cause of death for seedlings. To ensure the survival of kabesak seedlings in their natural habitats, it is necessary to avoid kabesak seedlings < 15 cm from the effects of long-term drought, as well as from herbivores and fires
