Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN IGNITION BOOSTER PADA KABEL BUSI DAN PENAMBAHAN METANOL PADA BAHAN BAKAR PREMIUM TERHADAP EMISI GAS BUANG CO DAN HC PADA HONDA SUPRA X 125 TAHUN 2007
Purposes of the research are: (1) Knowing effect of ignition booster application on exhaust
gas emission of CO and HC of Honda Supra X 125 2007 motorcycle; (2) knowing effect of
methanol addition in premium fuel on exhaust gas emission of CO and HC of Honda Supra X 125
2007; (3) knowing interaction of effects of ignition booster application and methanol addition in
premium fuel on exhaust gas emission of CO and HC of Honda Supra X 125 2007.The research
is performed in Laboratory of Machine Engineering Education of Teacher Training and
Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta. The research uses experiment
method in attempts of knowing exhaust gas emission of every experimentation treatment. Sample
of the research is Honda Supra X 125 2007 motorcycle with machine number: JB51E1941073.
Sample is taken by using purposive sampling technique by taking one sample of motorcycle,
namely Honda Supra X 125 2007 from population of typical Honda Supra X 125 2007
motorcycles. Data analysis of the research is a statistical analysis by using 4 x 4 Two-Way
Anava.Results of the research were: (1) There was effect of ignition booster application on
exhaust gas emission of CO and HC of Honda Supra X 125 2007. It is indicated by result of CO

PENGARUH JUMLAH IGNITION BOOSTER PADA KABEL BUSI DAN PENAMBAHAN METANOL DALAM PREMIUM TERHADAP KONSUMSI BAHAN BAKAR PADA YAMAHA MIO SPORTY TAHUN 2007
The purpose of this research is: (1) To know the influence of total ignition booster on the sparkplug cable to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007, (2) To know the influence of methanol addition in premium gasoline to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007, (3) To know the interaction of total ignition booster on the sparkplug cable and methanol addition in premium gasoline to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007.
This research used experimental methods and the types of quantitative research. The population of motorcycle Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007. The study sample is a Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007 motorcycle with police number AD 2113 ER, engine number 5TL840397 and chassis number MH35TL0067K83947. Sampling technique used Purposive Sampling technique. Experimental design was factorial design AxB, the A total Ignition Booster are without Ignition Booster, use 1 Ignition Booster, and use 2 Ignition Booster, while the B variations of methanol additions are 0%, 20%, and 40% and so there are 9 treatment, each treatment is to replicate as much as three times that obtained 27 data. Data of fuel consumption had been obtained from measurement fuel consumption during 10 minute. Data of analysis used two-way analysis of variance (Anova), which are the prerequisite tests previous performed tests of normality (Liliefors test) and tests of homogeneity (Bartlett test). Then performed multiple comparison tests (Scheffe test) is done.
Based the research can conclude that: (1) There are a influence of total ignition booster on the sparkplug cable to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007. This is shown by the results of data analysis that Fobs = 190.12 greater than Ftabel = 6.01 level of significance at 1%. (2) There are influences of methanol addition in premium gasoline to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007. This is shown by the results of data analysis that Fobs = 691.12 greater than Ftabel = 6.01 level of significance at 1%. (3) There are influence interactions between total ignition booster on the sparkplug cable and methanol addition in premium gasoline to fuel consumption on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007. This is shown in the results of data analysis which that the Fobs = 10.50 greater than Ftabel = 4.58 level of significance at 1%. Minimum fuel consumption is 2.43 ml/minute, obtained from 2 ignition booster with methanol addition in premium at 20%.

Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN CDI DIGITAL HYPER BAND DAN VARIASI PUTARAN MESIN TERHADAP TORSI DAN DAYA MESIN PADA SEPEDA MOTOR YAMAHA JUPITER MX TAHUN 2008
The purpose of this research is (1) Analyzing the use of CDI digital hyper band to
the torque and engine power on the motorcycle Yamaha Jupiter MX in 2008. (2) Analyze the
variations of engine round to the torque and engine power on the motorcycle Yamaha Jupiter
MX 2008.
This research has done in AHASS TARUNA MOTOR SPORT WORKSHOP that
located in Jl. Bhayangkara no. 78 solo using DYNOJET. This research uses experimental
methods. The sample in this research is a motorcycle Yamaha Jupiter MX in 2008 with
2S6439296 engine number and chassis number MH32S60058K439042.
Based on the results of the research can be summed up: (1) Increasing round of
engine could raise torque and power produced at the axle to the maximum. The round of
engine a having reached a maximum of torque and power making torque and power that is
produced at the axle to decline. (2) Using of CDI digital hyper band does not increase the
maximum torque and power produced at the axle. (3) Using of digital CDI hyper band can
increase round maximum machine , as that of 1500 rpm from round maximum machine that
can be attained by standard CDI. Increasing round maximum machines increases the speed
maximum that can be attained by a vehicle .

PENGARUH VARIASI DIAMETER VENTURI KARBURATOR DAN JENIS BUSI TERHADAP DAYA PADA SEPEDA MOTOR BAJAJ PULSAR 180 DTS-I TAHUN 2009
The research lead to conclusion that: (1) There is an effect of carburetor venturi diameter
variation to power on motorcycle Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-I 2009. This is shown by the results of
the test data analysis, that Fobservasi = 3520.48 greater than Ftabel = 3.83 (Fobservasi > Ftabel) at 1%
significance level. (2) There is the influence of the type of spark plug in motorcycle Bajaj Pulsar
180 DTS-I 2009. This is shown by the results of the analysis of test data, that Fobservasi = 38452.50
greater than Ftabel = 4.31 (Fobservasi > Ftabel) at 1% significance level. (3) There is interaction the
carburetor venturi diameter variation and types of spark plug to power the motorcycle Bajaj
Pulsar 180 DTS-I 2009. This is shown by the results of the analysis of test data, that Fobservasi=
1193.78 greater than Ftabel = 2.66 (Fobservasi > Ftabel) at significance level 1%. Maximum power of
12.1 HP acquired in size diameter 32 mm venturi carburetor, varying kinds of spark plug Denso
U20 EPR 9.
