Main Code/ Code with synthetic train data
synthetic_mobility.m is the code to generate the synthetic mobility Msynth.mat; the true data, used to generate the results in the paper (output.m) is property of the national railway company National Spoorwegen, and is confidential
all the other data is publicly available or posted by us with permission from RIVM (Royal Institute for Public Health and Environment).
The folder Data contains all this data. The code for construction of the data along with plots and Tables can be found in Supplementary Materials Code/Code for S figures and Tables.

To run the code with synthetic mobility data:
run inference.m, which uses the following functions:
SEIRHS.m - runs the stochastic version of the epidemiology model and an RK4 integration
transf.m - calculates the time-varying transition function of contacts multiplied by the susceptibility parameter
waning - calculates the waning of protection parameters in the second compartment set
initialize - initializes the parameters and the unobserved states
checkbound_ini - checks initial bounds on unobserved states (for example, S cannot be negative or larger than population)
checkbound - checks bounds on unobserved states - after updating (for example, S cannot be negative or larger than population)
Inflation.m - performs variance inflation of posterior updates to prevent the filter from collapsing due to lack of variance
liki.m - calculates the marginal posterior (quasi-)likelihood of the model based on the ensemble adjustment Kalman filter
the dataset movNSperc.mat (generated for Figures S11 and S19) contains percentage change in National train mobility compared to pre-pandemic levels and is used by the function synthetic_mobility.m (note that instead, Google mobility data could be used, but priors on parameters theta would likely need adjustment)
the dataset CBSprov.mat contains in column 4 the number of people living in province i and working in j, and is downloaded from CBS (Central Bureau Statistics)

ISBN 978-9975-155-73-1.This paper show if the facial recognition technology is ready to be used as an alternative to the existing payment methods used by individuals. The retina scan technology and iris scan technology are also presented as alternatives to the facial recognition technology in order to determine if any of the methods is more suitable to be used and to determine how should the next generation payment method look and what are the key factors that need to be taken into account before developing such a technology. The advantages and disadvantages of all technologies are discussed with pros and cons with a group of 220 participants. The case study includes all 220 participants to take part to an online interview followed by a 14 questions survey based on the discussions related to the presented technologies. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Variations on the Author
No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
