"Encystation": Containment and Control in Israeli Ideology and Practice
The radical closure of Gaza serves here as an extreme example of a process of
isolation and immiseration of national enemies that is deeply rooted in Israeli
ideology and practices of state formation. I use encystation to reveal the dual
meaning of the term—that of radical isolation of diseased elements and that of
protecting a fetus within a womb—and to show how the two meanings connect
with respective Israeli policies toward Palestinians and Jews. I suggest in closing
that the Oslo Accords have put in place mechanisms for the future imposition
on West Bank Palestinians of the same containment currently afflicting Gaz

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tarik menarik negara dan agama dalam kurikulum Madrasah Aliyah masa Orde Baru. Analisis dilakukan terhadap pokok bahasan dari empat mata pelajaran yang tampak nyata mengandung muatan politik kebangsaan dan dua mata pelajaran yang sarat dengan muatan politik keislaman, serta perkembangan masing-masing pokok bahasan dalam empat bentuk kurikulum Madrasah Aliyah sepanjang masa Orde Baru. Penelitian kualitatif strukturalisme ini berusaha menemukan tentang pola-pola yang terbentuk dari hubungan atau tarik menarik ini. Dari kajian ini penulis menyimpulkan bahwa Madrasah Aliyah pada masa Orde Baru mengajarkan muatan politik nasionalisme lebih banyak daripada materi pendidikan politik Islam.Abstract: Political Education of Nationalism and Islamic Politics in the Curriculum of Madrasah Aliyah in the New Order Era. This research aims at analizing relations between state and religion in the curriculum of Madrasah Aliyah in the New Order Era. The study focuses on components from four subjects that include contents of nation politics and two subject instructions that include matters of Islam politics. In this qualitative structuralism study, the author concludes on the patterns formed by such interaction. MERANCANG PEMBELAJARAN SASTRA BERKARAKTER DI MADRASAH ALIYAH
The problem in this study is how to design character-based literary learning inAliyah Madrasas. This study aims to describe the steps in designing literarylearning in character in the Aliyah Madrasah. The method used by the author inthis study is a qualitative method, researchers observe the phenomena that occur in literary learning in schools and conduct literature studies related to thephenomena that occur. In addition, the researchers immediately observedTeaching and Learning Activities (KBM) conducted by Indonesian language andliterature teachers in the South Tangerang Madrasah Aliyah. The results of thestudy showed that character learning through Teaching and Learning ActivitiesIndonesian language and literature had not been well integrated by Indonesianlanguage and literature teachers at the Aliyah Madrasah in the South Tangerangarea of Banten. Therefore Indonesian language and literature teachers in SouthTangerang Aliyah Madrasah need to design character learning literature throughthe following: syllabus, Core Competencies (KI), Basic Competencies (KD), create character-based Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), and compile Indicators of Achievement Competence (GPA) which refers to the development of learning material for Indonesian literature.Kata Kunci: merancang, pembelajaran, sastra berkarakter, madrasah, dankompetens

The literacy program at Madrasa Aliyah Darut Taqwa is the flagship program of the madrasa. The school or madrasah literacy program is one of the important programs that must be formulated using strategic management concepts. Strategic management helps organizations formulate better strategies. In this case strategic management is very important in the literacy program, therefore the author wants to know more about the strategic management literacy program at MA Darut Taqwa through, formulation literacy program strategies, strategic implementation literacy programs, and evaluation of literacy program strategies madrasa aliyah Darut Taqwa. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The data and data sources used are secondary data and primary data. Data collection techniques used are (a). Observation, (b). Interview, (c). Documentation. Madrasah Aliyah Ansharullah Boarding School is a nonprofit organization engaged in education which is located in a side street of district pekanbaru cross-Bangkinang KM 42. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the applied accounting Madrasah Aliyah Boarding School Ansharullah with accounting principles General Acceptable. This study was divided into two, namely primary data and secondary data. The writer is research suggested that the madrasah aliyah Ansharullah boarding school in the process of preparing the financial statements, the school is only preparing the financial statements balance sheet and income statement and cash flow statement does not compile and notes to financial statements. From the description of the discussion and the results of research by the author can be argued that the application of accounting research at Madrasah Aliyah Boarding School Ansharullah not in accordance with the General Acceptable Accounting Principles
Architectural history education: students’ perception on mobile augmented reality learning experience
Learning Architectural History in architecture schools remains as a challenge to many students in the built environment institutions. Historical buildings information can be very complicated and complex, that make learning considerably difficult, especially when there are too many variations of building shapes, forms, and treatments. The implementation of traditional learning and teaching method, solely via lecture that is currently still in practice, may have contributed to students’ difficulty to understand and experience historical buildings to the optimum level. As Mobile Augmented Reality (MAR) application's popularity is increasing in the educational field, it inspires researchers to evaluate students’ perception on MAR usage for the architectural history education. Hence, this research aims to explore the usage of Mobile Augmented Reality (MAR) application as a new innovative method for students to learn architectural history intuitively and interestingly. The research has two objectives; firstly, to investigate the MAR current practice on architectural history education, and secondly, to evaluate students’ perception of MAR in assisting students’ learning experience. The researchers adopt mixed methods approaches, consisting of literature reviews, and survey questionnaires. As a conclusion, MAR promises a new wave of the learning experience for students, which provides flexible and intuitive learning activities to them

This study aims to determine whether the application of accounting At the State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) Bengkalis with Government Regulations Number. 71 of 2010 concerning Accrual-Based Government Accounting Standards to the Central Government and Minister of Finance Regulation No. 270 / PMK.05 / 2014. This research was conducted in the financial section of the State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) Bengkalis. The types and sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are by direct interviews and documentation or photocopy of financial data at the State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) Bengkalis. In the preparation of research, the author uses the method descriptive, namely comparing the practice with the existing theory, then drawn a conclusion to be presented in the thesis. Based on the research conducted, it is known that application accounting for the State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) Bengkalis is not yet fully in accordance with Government Regulation Number. 71 of 2010 and PMK No. 270 / PMK.05 / 2014, including Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Bengkalis no journal making transactions both accrual and cash transaction journals, current statements cash and report notes to financial statements. Thus it is necessary perfected so that the Application of Accounting can be implemented and in evaluation in accordance with Government Regulation Number. 71 of 2010
