No full textSon yıllarda adları daha sık telaffuz edilen yavaş filmler, 2010'larla birlikte tanımlanmaya, sahip oldukları ortak özellikler belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Uzun çekimlerin yer aldığı, sabit kameranın baskın olduğu, genelde suskun karakterlere sahip yavaş filmler, bir film türü olmaktan çok bir tarz olarak özellikle festivallerde izleyicinin karşısına çıkmaktadır. Béla Tarr, Tsai Ming-liang gibi yönetmenlerin filmlerinin ilk sıralara yazıldığı listede Nuri Bilge Ceylan'ın filmleri de yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmada yavaş sinema tartışmalarından yola çıkarak yavaş sinemanın temel özelliklerini belirleyip, bu özellikler doğrultusunda Nuri Bilge Ceylan filmlerinin yavaş sinemaya ne oranda dâhil olduğu ele alınmakta ve Bir Zamanlar Anadolu'da filmiyle birlikte daha "konuşkan" bir sinemaya geçtiği söylenen Nuri Bilge Ceylan'ın sinemasındaki gelişimin yavaş sinemayla ilişkisi incelenmektedir.
Slow movies, which are progressively being more expressed, are sought to be defined and their common characteristics were aimed to be determined in 2010s. Slow movies with long takes, mainly static camera and generally silent characters meet the audience in festivals as a film style rather than a film genre. Films of Nuri Bilge Ceylan are listed together with top directors, such as Béla Tarr and Tsai Ming-liang. This study aims to determine the characteristics of slow movies through discussions on slow movies and to inquire at what level Nuri Bilge Ceylan's films can be included in the list of slow movies and also to examine the relationship between slow movies and the development of Nuri Bilge Ceylan's filmography, which is asserted to be more "conversational" with his movie Once Upon a Time in Anatoli

Get PDFMaritime transportation plays a vital role in mobility within archipelagic regions, and Fast Patrol Boat are an efficient choice to meet the needs of defence and maritime patrol in Indonesia. The innovation of adding bilge keels to the vessel is expected to enhance the performance of fast patrol vessels. This study aims to identify and evaluate the motions of Fast Patrol Boat to understand their performance under various sea conditions. Fast Patrol Boat operating at high speeds require a responsive pitch motion, making them well-suited for safeguarding Indonesia\u27s archipelagic waters. The analysis results show that patrol Boat equipped with bilge keels perform better in terms of response and manoeuvrability, especially at high speeds, compared to vessels without bilge keels, although for other degrees of freedom such as heave and roll motions, there is no significant difference between the two types of vessels Transportasi laut memegang peranan penting dalam mobilitas diwilayah Kepulauan, dan kapal Patroli Cepat menjadi pilihan yang efisien dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pertahanan dan patroli perairan Indonesia dengan inovasi penambahan lunas bilga pada kapal diharapkan dapat meningkatkan performa kapal patrol cepat. Get PDFÖZKarar vericilerin gereksinimleri doğrutusunda, bilgi üretiminde zaman, hız, yüksek iletişim ve esneklik elde etmek, çalışanların tecrübeleri, yetenekleri ve sezgileri gibi kişisel özelliklerinden yararlanmak, risklere ve belirsizliklere karşı önlemler ve öngörüler geliştirmek, böylece optimum bilgi yönetimine ulaşmak için geliştirilen kurumsal bilgelik anlayışı bu çalışmanın çıkış noktasıdır. Söz konusu anlayışın bilgi yönetimiyle bütünleştirilmesinde başlangıç noktasının muhasebe bilgi sistemi olması gerektiği öngörülmüştür. Bu doğrultuda çalışmada, muhasebe bilgi sisteminin “bilgi kaynakları, bilgi teknolojileri, bilgi çalışanları ve bilgi üretimi” temel bileşenlerinin kurumsal bilgelik anlayışı ile ele alınarak evrilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Muhasebe bilgi sisteminin yönetim muhasebesi alanında geliştirilmesi, işletmeye rekabetçilik ve sürdürülebilir büyüme anlamında daha etkin bir muhasebe desteği sağlayacaktır. Çalışmanın temel amacı, bilgi yönetimini kurumsal bilgelik anlayışıyla ele alarak, muhasebe bilgi sistemini bu doğrultuda geliştirmek, yönetsel bilgi tedarikinde muhasebenin işlevselliğini ve etkinliğini arttırmaktır. Muhasebe bilgi sisteminin, formal bilgilerin yanısıra, informal bilgileri de kullanarak, yönetsel kararlara katkı sağlayan, geleceğe yönelik fikirler veren, nitelikli bilgi ve raporlar üretmesi beklenmektedir. Kurumsal bilgelik anlayışı, muhasebenin bilge bir sisteme dönüşmesini sağlayacak, ortaya çıkan bu yeni yapı, “bilge muhasebe” olarak adlandırılacaktır. Çalışmada, muhasebe bilgi sisteminin arzulanan gelişimine katkı sağlayacak ve işletmeyi bilge muhasebe doğrultusunda yönlendirecek “bilge muhasebe modeli” önerilmektedir. Model önerisi, bilge muhasebe hedeflerine ulaşma noktasında söz konusu geliştirme için bir kılavuz olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bilge muhasebe modeli, nitel araştırma desenleri içinde yer alan durum çalışması kapsamında değerlendirilmektedir. Model, muhasebe bilgi sisteminin işlevsellik ve etkinlik problemlerini ortaya koyarak, varsayımları ve içerik unsurlarıyla geniş bir kapsam oluşturmaktadır. Bu makalede, sadece bilge muhasebenin kavramsal incelemesi ve oluşturulan modelin teorik kısmı genel hatları verilmiştir. Hoffmann). Each Syriac word is defined in Arabic, often with more than one Arabic equivalent; in addition, the author deals not just with individual Syriac words, but in some cases with phrases. Gottheil used 21 manuscripts (from Oxford, London, Paris, Berlin, Leiden, and Rome) for this edition, and he has supplied a thorough critical apparatus; the manuscripts are described in the introduction. While some manuscripts give the Arabic glosses in Syriac characters (i.e. Garshuni), Gottheil has presented them here in Arabic script. These two volumes will be of great interest to Syriac lexicographers and those who study interactions between Syriac and Arabic.Contains an English introduction by Richard J.H. Gotthei

Full Scale Investigation of Bilge Keel Effectiveness at Forward Speed
No full textShip motions in a seaway have long been of great importance, and today with advanced hull forms and higher speeds they are as important as ever. While one can now often adequately predict heave, pitch, sway, yaw and even surge, roll motions are much more difficult. Roll is the one motion that is very dependent upon viscous effects of the fluid. Recently, at David Taylor Model Basin, there have been model experiments where the bilge keels were instrumented in order to directly measure their damping force upon the vessel. To build upon this work and to validate it when applied to full scale vessels, a trial using the Italian naval vessel Nave Bettica was performed.
The objective of this thesis is to describe the experiment, present and analyze the results, and offer some conclusions based upon these results. The process of instrumenting the port bilge keel using strain gages and correlating their output to pressures and total forces is described. Selected results for different forward speeds are presented, with full results in the appendices. Particle image velocimetry (PIV) was also performed during the test and was used to measure the flow field in a three foot by three foot area under the aft end of the same bilge keel. Selected image series are presented, as is a methodology for using these images to calculate the center of pressure and the corresponding results.Master of Scienc
Futbol Kulüpleri Hisse Senetleri Üzerinden Portföy Oluşturulması ve Finansal Bir Ürün Olarak Modellenmesi
No full textBu çalışmada Borsa İstanbul'da işlem gören Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray ve Trabzonspor takımlarının hisse senetlerini de içeren modern portföy teorisine uygun bir portföy oluşturulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışma yapılırken takımların oynadıkları maç sonuçlarının kulüplerin hisse senetlerinin normal üzeri (abnormal) getirilerine etkisi incelenmiş ve futbol kulüpleri hisseleri ile BİST100 endeksi arasındaki korelasyona ve farklı sektörlerde faaliyet gösteren şirketlerin hisseleri ile olan ilişkilerine bakılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında futbol kulüplerinin, 01.07.2014 – 29.06.2018 tarihleri arasında hisse senedi performansları ve 2015-2016, 2016-2017 ve 2017-2018 sezonlarında oynanan Türkiye Ligi, Türkiye Kupası ve Avrupa Kupaları maçları dikkate alınarak maç sonuçlarının hisse senetlerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Maç sonuçlarının hisse senetlerine olan etkisi ölçüldükten sonra 2016 – 2017 sezonu içerisinde yer alan haftaların getirilerine bakılarak sadece futbol kulüplerinin hisselerini içeren, farklı sektörlerde faaliyet gösteren hisse senetleri ile birlikte kulüp hisselerini içeren ve son olarak Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray kulüplerinin hisselerini içeren üç farklı portföy oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca hisse senetleri haricinde futbol kulüplerinin varlıkları üzerinden yatırım aracı olarak kullanılabilecek yeni bir finansal ürün oluşturulup oluşturulmayacağına ilişkin bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Tüm bu çalışmalar yapılırken MS Excel programında yer alan Solver eklentisi, Eviews 10 istatistik programı ve MATLAB programı kullanılarak futbol takımlarının hisse senetleri ile ilgili bilgi ve bulgular incelenmiştir. Trabzonspor teams, including the stock of the modern portfolio theory is intended to
create a portfolio. The results of the matches played by the teams were examined in this
study and the correlation between the football clubs ' shares and the BIST100 index and
their relationship with the shares of companies operating in different sectors were
examined.
Within the scope of the study, the effect of the results of the matches on stocks was
examined by taking into account the stock performances of football clubs between
01.07.2014 – 29.06.2018 and the Turkish league, Turkish Cup and European Cup matches
played in the 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 seasons. After measuring the impact
of match results on stocks, three different portfolios containing only the shares of football
clubs, including the shares of clubs operating in different sectors, and finally the shares
of Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray clubs were created based on the returns of the weeks in
the 2016 – 2017 season according to a certain level of return. There has also been work
on whether to create a new financial product that can be used as an investment vehicle
over football clubs, other than equities
All of these studies were done using the Solver add-on in MS Excel program, Eviews 10
Statistics program and MATLAB program to examine the information and findings about
the stocks of football teams

Get PDFThe central theme of this volume is the work of Sabahattin Ali, the Turkish author and translator from German into Turkish who achieved posthumous success with his novel Kürk Mantolu Madonna (The Madonna in the Fur Coat). Our contributors analyze this novel, which takes place largely in Germany, and several other texts by Ali in the context of world literature, (cultural) translation, and intertextuality. Their articles go far beyond the intercultural love affair that has typically dominated the discussion of Madonna. Other articles consider Zafer Şenocak’s essay collection Deutschsein and transcultural learning through picture books. An interview with Selim Özdoğan rounds out the issue.Im Mittelpunkt dieses Bandes steht das Werk des türkischen Autors und Übersetzers aus dem Deutschen Sabahattin Ali, der mit seinem Roman Kürk Mantolu Madonna (Die Madonna im Pelzmantel) zu posthumem Ruhm gelangte.
