32nd International Physics Congress of Turkish-Physical-Society (TPS) -- SEP 06-09, 2016 -- Bodrum, TURKEYIn this study, we investigate homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type I universe in the presence of quark matter source in f (R, T) gravity (Harko et al. in Phys. Rev. D 84:024020, 2011) with cosmological constant A (where R is the Ricci scalar and T is the trace of the energy momentum tensor). For this aim we have used the anisotropy feature of Bianchi type I universe and equation of states (EoS) of quark matter. We explore the exact solution f(R, T)=R + 2f(T) model for Bianchi type I universe model. When t -> infinity, we get very small cosmological constant value, this result agrees with recent observations.Turkish Phys So

ON SOME AXIOMATIC EXTENSIONS OF THE MONOIDAL T-NORM BASED LOGIC MTL: AN ANALYSIS IN THE PROPOSITIONAL AND IN THE FIRST-ORDER CASE

The scientific area this thesis belongs to are many-valued logics: in particular, the logic MTL and some of its extensions, in the propositional and in the first-order case (see [8],[9],[6],[7]). The thesis is divided in two parts: in the first one the necessary background about these logics, with some minor new results, are presented. The second part is devoted to more specific topics: there are five chapters, each one about a different problem. In chapter 6 a temporal semantics for Basic Logic BL is presented. In chapter 7 we move to first-order logics, by studying the supersoundness property: we have improved some previous works about this theme, by expanding the analysis to many extensions of the first-order version of MTL. Chapter 8 is dedicated to four different families of n-contractive axiomatic extensions of BL, analyzed in the propositional and in the first-order case: completeness, computational and arithmetical complexity, amalgamation and interpolation properties are studied. Finally, chapters 9 and 10 are about Nilpotent Minimum logic (NM, see [8]): in chapter 9 the sets of tautologies of some NM-chains (subalgebras of [0,1]_NM) are studied, compared and the problems of axiomatization and undecidability are tackled. Chapter 10, instead, concerns some logical and algebraic properties of (propositional) Nilpotent Minimum logic. The results (or an extended version of them) of these last chapters have been also presented in papers [1, 4, 5, 2, 3]. ---------------------------------References--------------------------------------------- [1] S. A Note on Saturated Models for Many-Valued Logics

    No full text
In this short paper we will discuss on saturated and κ-saturated models of many-valued (t-norm based fuzzy) logics. Using these peculiar structures we show a representation theorem à la Di Nola for several classes of algebras including MV, Gödel, product, BL, NM and WNM-algebras. Then, still using (κ)-saturated algebras, we finally show that some relevant subclasses of algebras related to many-valued logics also enjoy the joint embedding property and the amalgamation property

Bianchi Type Cosmological Models in f(T)f(T) Tele-parallel Gravity

    No full text
Symmetry assumptions on the geometrical framework have provided successful mechanisms to develop physically meaningful solutions to many problems. In tele-parallel gravity, invariance of the frame and spin-connection under a group of motions defines an affine symmetry group. Here, we assume there exists a three-dimensional group of affine symmetries acting simply transitively on a spatial hypersurface and that this group of symmetry actions defines our affine frame symmetry group. We determine the general form of the co-frame and spin connection for each spatially homogeneous Bianchi type. We then construct the corresponding field equations for f(T)f(T) tele-parallel gravity. We show that if the symmetry group is of Bianchi type A (II, IIII, VI0VI_0, VII0VII_0, VIIIVIII or IXIX) then there exists a co-frame/spin connection pair that is consistent with the antisymmetric part of the field equations of f(T)f(T) tele-parallel gravity. For those geometries having a Bianchi type B symmetry group (IVIV, VV, VIhVI_h, VIIhVII_h), we find that in general these geometries are inconsistent with the antisymmetric part of the f(T)f(T) tele-parallel gravity field equations unless the theory reduces to an analog of General Relativity with a cosmological constant.Comment: 28 page

Bianchi type-I universe in Lyra manifold with quadratic equation of state

32nd International Physics Congress of Turkish-Physical-Society (TPS) -- SEP 06-09, 2016 -- Bodrum, TURKEYIn this study, we have solved Einstein field equations for Bianchi type I universe model in Lyra manifold with quadratic equation of state (EoS) p = alpha rho(t)(2) - rho(t). Where alpha not equal 0 is an important constant. Cosmic pressure, density and displacement vector (beta(2)) are related with a constant. In this study beta(2) is a decreasing function of time and behaves like a cosmological constant. These solutions agree with the studies of lialford, Pradhan and Singh, Aygun et al., Agarwal et al., Yadav and liaque as well as SN la observations.Turkish Phys So

Perfect fluid Bianchi cosmological model admitting conformal motions in f(Q, T) gravity

    No full text
In this paper, we intend to explore Conformal Vector Fields (CVFs) of the Locally Rotationally Symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type-I cosmological model within the setup of f(Q, T) gravity, where Q denotes the non-metricity scalar and T is the trace of stress energy tensor. We start with a linear form of f(Q, T) gravity to solve equations of motion in the background of a type I LRS Bianchi cosmological model. We then follow a general form of the function f(Q, T) along with some additional constraints to explore exact space-times. With the help of such general form, we construct four types of non-trivial f(Q, T) gravity models. These models are in square root form, power law form, an exponential as well as a logarithmic form. Applying these f(Q, T) gravity models, we explore a variety of cosmological solutions admitting rotational symmetry. For these cosmological solutions, we find the CVFs. We observe that the constructed LRS Bianchi type-I solutions admit CVFs of dimension four, five, six, or fifteen. The physical entities like energy density and pressure associated with each Bianchi cosmological model are also being discussed
