Coronavirus disease 2019 or better known as COVID-19 was first detected in December 2019 in China, and the first case was detected outside China on January 13 in Thailand. Often seen from an economic perspective, poverty covers all aspects of social welfare in an area. Poor households often lack food security, and access to basic education, health care, clean water, and energy sources. A supply shock will lead to a demand shock. Calculations of only first-order supply shocks and subsequent demand have predicted a major economic slowdown. The global economic contraction that occurred due to COVID-19 could reach -3% or could be even worse than the 2008-2009 global financial crisis. An economic recession will push millions of people into poverty. A rapid simulation covering 138 developing countries and 26 high-income economic countries found that even in the mildest scenario, COVID-19 could cause an increase in the number of poor people by 85 million people. The research method in this study is a literature study. This literature study is research conducted by examining various literature studies needed in research. The results of this study are that the level of poverty and unemployment has a role in establishing the level of welfare of the Indonesian people during Covid-19 from 2010-2021

Abstract: Current economic developments, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, have become a horror phenomenon for countries worldwide, including Indonesia, not only in the health sector but also in the economic sector. Existing restrictions between countries will slow down economic activity, reduce productivity, and reduce demand (consumption, exports of services, imports of services, investment, exports and imports of goods), which of course will also affect the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) significantly in every country in the world. world. This research is qualitative research using the literature study method. To obtain relevant studies, some literature related to this research was collected. Several sectors have played a major role in the development of GDP during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Sector; Information and Communication Sector; and the Health Services and Social Activities Sector. In addition to these policies, many companies have decided to carry out large-scale Termination of Employment (PHK) due to the decline in business due to the COVID-19 pandemic which has further increased the number of unemployed and decreased wages received. The community made several adjustments to their needs or eliminated several types of family expenses that were still possible, namely replacing rice as food with other sources of carbohydrates. As for the side dishes, they choose to find a source of income from other additional jobs.

This study aims to investigate the efficiency level of hospital surgery hospital installation in Special Region of Yogyakarta Province. Research conceptual constructs are based on input and output performance in institutional performance processes. This research approach uses positivist pattern and is derived by quantitative method. This is to explain the efficiency pattern of the installation of hospital and private hospital surgery rooms. The quantitative method chosen is the concept of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The results showed that 1) the installation of a private hospital surgery room tends to be more efficient than government property; 2) the installation of a special hospital surgical hospital is not absolutely more efficient than a public hospital. As a recommendation, this research provides scenario for setting input usage for efficient performance

This study aims to examine breastfeeding behavior from a gender perspective and socio-economic dimension. The legal basis and internal and external factors of breastfeeding behavior are the main issues. Breastfeeding views are also studied in terms of working women, in response to the increasingly expensive economic needs of women to help the family economy by entering the labor market, while women also have an obligation to engage in breastfeeding activities. This study uses literature method, by collecting all the literature related to the breastfeeding process, the legal basis that supports, and the factors that can inhibit and the way to succeed exclusive breastfeeding issues. This study found the fact that there is a misconception of society about breastfeeding that the breastfeeding process is not optimal, the modernization also makes women who should breastfeed to make new choices instead of breastfeeding obligations for their children

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
