No full textQuesto saggio presenta alcuni documenti riguardanti Angelo Poliziano, interessanti per la ricostruzione della sua biografia, che rientrano nel progetto di realizzazione di un Codice Diplomatico polizianeo, promosso dalla Commissione per l’Edizione nazionale delle Opere di Angelo Poliziano.
Si tratta di tre missive, collocabili tra il 1475 e il 1488, tutte dirette, da personaggi diversi, a Lorenzo dei Medici, e conservate presso l’Archivio di Stato di Firenze all’interno del fondo Mediceo avanti il principato. Queste lettere, in cui Poliziano viene menzionato, sono scritte, in particolare, una da Biagio Mei, mercante lucchese, in cui ricorda un viaggio dello stesso Poliziano, inviato dal Magnifico a Lucca per ricercare alcuni codici, e due dal chierico Fabiano Benci da Montepulciano per richiedere un canonicato

No full textThe article investigates the Sammarinese system of constitutional adjudication, framing it within the Sammarinese legal tradition, and outlines their interplay. In particular, the paper analyses the path leading to the establishing of a weak form of constitutional review in 1974 and of a sui generis constitutional court, the Collegio Garante della Costituzionalità delle Norme (Guarantors' Panel on the Constitutionality of Rules) in 2002.
This double analysis determines whether the Sammarinese model owes more to the Republic of San Marino being a small(micro) state or to its extraordinary and unique legal history

No full textreservedVictor Hugo, nel dramma Angelo, tyran de Padue, ricama tre diverse epoche storiche: i primi decenni dell’Ottocento, a lui contemporanei; la metà del Cinquecento, prescelta per lo svolgimento dell’azione drammatica; il tardo Medioevo evinto dai personaggi principali che compongono il racconto. Tuttavia, l’interesse storico e prettamente romantico verso il periodo medievale assume in quest’opera una rilevanza primaria. Tra le tante casate del nord Italia nominate dall’autore nell’opera, una su tutte sembra essere davvero simbolica. Particolarmente interessante è stato comprendere come la storia della famiglia da Romano costituisca il fulcro della costruzione drammaturgica. Ezzelino III e Cunizza da Romano sono elevati a emblema della poetica romantica e divengono funzionali al messaggio politico e sociale dell’autore.Victor Hugo, in his play Angelo, tyran de Padue, embroiders three different historical epochs: the first decades of the 19th century, contemporary with him; the middle of the 16th century, chosen for the unfolding of the dramatic action; and the late Middle Ages evoked by the main characters in the story. However, the historical and purely romantic interest in the medieval period takes on primary importance in this work. Of the many northern Italian lineages named by the author in the work, one in particular seems to be truly symbolic. It was particularly interesting to understand how the history of the da Romano family forms the core of the dramaturgical construction. Ezzelino III and Cunizza da Romano are elevated to emblems of romantic poetics and become functional to the author's political and social message

No full text- Il contributo di Angelo Volpe prende in esame fondamentalmen-te due oggetti: primo, la potenzialità indiscussa nella sociologia contemporanea degli approcci individualistici e razionali e, secondo, la necessità di trascendere la gabbia stessa della razionalità e di andare oltre. Ciò che l’autore auspica è la realizzazione di un “modello a spettro intero” per l’analisi dei fatti sociali, un modello che possa espandere il raggio d’azione della comprensione sociologica al di là di ciò che possiamo vedere e misurare razionalmente.
- The contribution of Angelo Volpe essentially examines two objects: first, the unquestioned potentiality in contemporary sociology of individualistic and rational approaches, and, second, the need to transcend the very cage of rationality and go further. Initiation, long-term cryopreservation, and recovery of Abies alba Mill. embryogenic cell lines
No full textSomatic embryogenesis of Abies alba (Mill.) has
significant potential to become an effective method for vegetative propagation of this species. To induce somatic embryogenesis in A. alba, the influence of the mother tree, sampling dates,
and cold treatment storage of cones were examined. The initiation frequencies ranged from 1.7%to 16.6%. The sampling date and cone storage, but not themother tree, had a significant effect
on the initiation of embryogenic cultures. Storage of embryogenic cell lines was tested through cryopreservation for 6 yr.
Four out of 12 cryostored embryogenic cell lines recovered, and the regeneration of cotyledonary embryos was obtained with
two cell lines. The ability of embryogenic cell masses to produce somatic embryos and the mean number of cotyledonary embryos
were higher when the maturation protocol was based on embryogenic suspensions dispersed on filter paper. The properly developed germinants were obtained only from maturation media where 32 μM abscisic acid was used, being 16.2% when polyethylene glycol (PEG) was not present and 1.8% when supplemented with 10% (w/v) PEG, respectively. The present
study provides evidence that it is possible to cryopreserve A. alba embryogenic cultures while maintaining their maturing
ability for the lengthy period (6 yr) needed for progeny testing of field-grown trees. Therefore, our findings are important for
further studies and advanced breeding work of the species;
however, the conversion of germinants into ex vitro conditions still remains a significant challenge
