A check of the Indianapolis city directory shows Fred Millis as the president of the company and it was located on the 8th floor of the Peoples Bank Building. Mrs. Caldwell's husband was listed as an artist with a studio also in the Peoples Bank Building.This image is a preservation copy made from an unstable original nitrate negative. The image is part of Series III. The damage to the image was caused by deterioration of the negative

query as a metric for exploring the problematic nature of defining a record. Within each response, I will examine parallels problems faced by records manager theorists in positing a definition. This is purely an intellectual exercise, but one that ultimately wishes to contribute to the development of a records management theory. In the words of Michael Buckland, "One does not get very far trying to define and describe things in their own terms. It is comparison that is the most basic intellectual activity. Comparing the nature of records management with other things is a necessary condition for progress in developing a view - a theory - of records management.

No full textThis work provides an edition of the fragments of Anaxandrides together with a detailed commentary on them. Particular attention is given to elucidating the nature of his work and situating it within the historical context of the fourth century B.C. and the literary context of Middle Comedy generally. Evidence is provided to support the notion that Anaxandrides was both an important comic poet during his lifetime and influential on the development of later comedy. Sex Work in Canada: Examining Legal, Moral, and Theoretical Perspectives on the Issues
Get PDFIn Canada, the sale of sex for money was not illegal under the former legislative structure. Regardless, the laws making up that structure were challenged for constitutionality in two cases and were heard by the Supreme Court of Canada. Two vastly different decisions were delivered in the 1990 Prostitution Reference and Bedford decisions, with the latter case repealing the old sex work laws. The Canadian government drafted new laws in response to the repealed laws. Evidence suggests that the new model of sex work regulation is harmful and does little to address the constitutional defects identified in the Bedford decision. This legislative approach comes from the adoption of perspectives from a moral crusade against prostitution, and similar legal structures in other parts of the world. The shortcomings of the law, and the questionable framework it stems from suggests that the government must do more to meet the needs of sex workers in Canada. The examination of this topic raises several philosophical questions that might be considered in future research
