A survey design for integrated monitoring of salmonids
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife conducts three large-scale projects to monitor coastal salmonids. The Coastal Salmonid Inventory Project conducts spawning surveys for returning adults, the Early Life History Project monitors juvenile salmonids, and the Aquatic Inventory Project monitors stream habitat. In 1998, an integrated monitoring design was initiated to facilitate the integration of data among these projects. A rotating panel design utilizing the Environmental Protection Agency's Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Program (EMAP) site selection process was deemed to be the best approach to meet the needs of the studies. EMAP utilizes a Geographic Information System (GIS) to draw a spatially balanced sample of a population. The program provides forced overlap between projects where their sampling domains overlap, and facilitates sampling intensification. The rotating panel design balances the utility of trend detection through repeated sampling at the same sites over time, with the advantages of extensive sampling of the target populations. Arc Info was used to create coverages of the population of streams to be sampled for each project. EMAP selects a spatially balanced sample from a coverage, forces overlap of sites for each project where their sampling extents coincide, associates each point with a stream reach, and measures the distance upstream from the reach origin. This plan was successfully implemented during the 1998 field season.Julie C. Firman and Steven E. STEREOTIPE PASRTISIPASI PEREMPUAN DALAM UNDANG-UNDANG NOMOR 7 TAHUN 2017 PADA PEMILU PEMILU 2024
General elections are an important mechanism in a modern democratic system that allows the people to participate in determining the country's leaders and policies. The main purpose of elections is to provide citizens with the opportunity to express their voices and elect leaders who will represent them in government so that Indonesian women are then able to take a role in politics in Indonesia. The inequality between men and women in politics has resulted in women's aspirations not being channeled through existing political channels, resulting in gender-based political discrimination which has continued for quite a long time. This research uses normative legal research methods by conducting research studies of literature and statutory regulations related to the research object in order to find answers to the problems to be researched. The results of this research show that after the general election held in 2024, the people have expressed their aspirations through a democratic party held simultaneously throughout Indonesia. The current problem is the paradigm and belief that women's nature is only to take care of the family and women are not suitable to occupy leadership positions. This cannot happen in a democratic country because Article 27 paragraph 1 of the 1945 Constitution (UUD 1945) states that the principle of equal rights for all citizens is recognized without exception, this article as the basis of the State constitution has provided space for every citizen. participate in government without distinction of gender. It is further clarified in article 245 of Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning general elections which states "the list of prospective candidates as intended in article 243 contains at least 30% representation of women. Based on the results of the 2024 election, the number of women's representation only covers 21.9% in DPR RI seats, which means it is not in accordance with the implementation of existing regulations, this is due to the decline in the affirmation policy in the form of a 30% women's nomination quota in PKPU No. 10 of 2023 which carries out rounding down which has the impact of not meeting the minimum number of 30% of women in electoral districts allocated for seats: 4, 7, 8 and 11 which has the potential to reduce the number of women's representation.

The Effect of Caffeine on Performance
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of caffeine on reaction time, as measured by PEBL2 software. To test this relationship, participants were measured across three tests within the PEBL2 software, with one group of participants receiving a 300 mL dose of caffeinated coffee before testing, and another receiving a 300 mL dose of a decaffeinated coffee. It was hypothesized that the participants who received a dose of caffeinated coffee would perform better and thus have faster reaction times than those who received the decaffeinated control. The results did not support the hypothesis: the mean response time was the same across the caffeinated and decaffeinated conditions. The results of this study are discussed in relation to other findings on the effects of caffeine on performance, specifically the relationship between caffeine and reaction time

Processing of polyphenolic composites with supercritical fluid anti-solvent technology
© 2017 Author(s). Polyphenols have been developed, primarily exploiting their robust antioxidant properties, for medical and food applications. In spite of their advantages, polyphenolic compounds have drawbacks from their natural characteristics of being poorly soluble in aqueous solutions, thermo-labile and low oral bioavailaibility. In this article, strategy of processing with supercritical fluid (SCF) anti-solvent to improve the shortcomings is overviewed. Information obtained from the existing studies commonly confirms SCF technology applicability to produce composites of polyphenols with various morphology, size distributions and crystallinity. The application of SCF technology also enables to develop polyphenolic composites for alternative drug delivery such as in the pulmonary administrations
