theatre/drama historians. It is there to cater the tastes of the lower class or the
popular society; thus, it is not a genre worthy of literary scholars. Through New
Historicism lens, however, such a consideration is given by people with elitist point of view. As it is discussed in the following paper, melodrama has a lot to offer. It has been a genre with a lot of values attached to it since it’s “birth” in France, its development in England, and maturation in the United States. Sistem bagi hasil dalam ijabah (investasi berjangka mudharabah) di BTM Tamzis Wonosobo
Mudharabah adalah penanaman dari pemilik dana (shahibul maal) kepada pengelola dana (mudharib) untuk melakukan kegiatan usaha t ertentu, dengan pembagian menggunakan metode bagi untung dan rugi (profit and loss sharing) atau metode pendapatan (revenue sharing) antara kedua belah pihak berdasarkan nisbah yang telah disepakati.
Investasi berjangka mudharabah (ijabah) adalah produk penghimpunan dana yang ada di Tamzis dan merupakan simpanan yang menggunakan prinsip mudharabah yaitu antara pemilik modal (shahibul maal) dengan pengelola (mudharib) untuk memperoleh pendapatan atau keuntungan, pendapatan atau keuntungan tersebut dibagi berdasarkan nisbah yang telah disepakati di awal akad dan tidak dapat ditarik sewaktu-waktu atau merupakan deposito yang berjangka waktu 1 bulan, 3 bulan, 6 bulan dan 12 bulan serta mendapatkan bagi hasil.
Bank syari’ah dalam kapasitasnya sebagai mudharib memiliki sifat sebagai seorang wali amanah (trustee), yakni harus berhati-hati atau bijaksana serta beritikad baik dan tanggung jawab atas ssegala sesuatu yang timbul akibat kesalahan atau kelalaiannya. Selain itu bank syariah juga bertindak sebagai kuasa dari usaha bisnis pemilik dana yang diharapkan dapat memperoleh keuntungan seoptimal mungkin tanpa melanggar berbagai aturan syari’ah.

Fears and Challenges of Acting in the Pandemic Time
E-learning has become a popular approach today. However, in drama/theater classes where exercises, rehearsals, and ‘productions’ are done on stage, such an approach was considered impossible, until Covid-19 pandemic strike occurred. The purpose of this paper is to reveal how acting classes dealt with the disruption, the process of selecting and implementing online meeting platforms, the new ‘lesson plan’ to finish the classes, the challenges due to the changes, and evaluation for future practices. The nature of the study is both explanatory and evaluative by action research. Primary data were collected using personal observations and questionnaires. Secondary data were taken from library research pertaining drama/theater, e-learning, online teaching, action research, thematic analysis, etc. By flipping from offline to online learning, acting classes turned out to be manageable. Radical and innovative adaptations should be made to make classes work online, including flipping offline to online meetings, implementing screen/camera knowledge, and using online platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, WA, and LINE. Moreover, despite the fact that initially online meeting was threatening to the students and the teacher alike, using online meeting platforms for acting classes as blended learning was a good challenge, given appropriate situations and purposes

Kadang studi budaya menggugat makna dan nilai tertentu, namun studi budaya tidak ingin sampai pada makna dan nilai yang tetap dan pasti, justru karena itulah yang digugatnya sendiri. Demikianlah Wayang Kulit Jawa Timuran ditelaah melalui topik-topik identitas dan kepemimpinan yang terjadi di Jawa Timur pada saat konteks pertunjukan berlangsung. Panakawans Discourse Of Power In Javanese Shadow Puppet During The New Order Regime From Traditional Perspective To New Historicism
Wayang kulit (shadow puppet) has not only been an
entertainment; it is a medium to disseminate Javanese values to the
public. Therefore, wayang kulit has been a site of power game. Those
who could control it have their best opportunity to pass their values to
the public. Throughout its history, those in power since the colonial
time until the New Order regime had successfully ‘used’ this medium to
‘educate’ the public. The New Order regime, for one thing, had used
this medium well. Wayang kulit promoted Suharto as an equal of
Semar, a wise, god-like character. It also promoted Golkar as the most
powerful political party in the New Order Era. Feudalism in wayang
kulit was also used to reinforce a feudalistic regime of New Order
