    ABSTRACT Queuing system management (QSM) can help improve operational efficiency, reduce customer waiting time, a node from human resource management (HRM) based on the effectiveness of HR performance, and optimize employees as HR in improving customer service. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the mplementing queuing results of system management in one of the Supermarkets in Lampung Province and knowing the optimal number of cashier lines in the QSM. Research conducted on the research object, namely XYZ Supermarket, is recorded every one-hour interval. This research was conducted for 14 days, working hours from 09.00-21.00 Western Indonesian Time zone. The population in this study is all consumers whose population is unlimited. The sample used is consumers who enter the XYZ Supermarket QSM. The study purpose was to optimize the QSM with Ws less than 3 minutes and Ls less than 4 people in accordance with the SOP. This research method uses the multi-channel single-phase model with system time and systems number. The analysis results in this study can be concluded that the performance of the queuing system implemented with the number of cashiers (M) of 2 cashiers at 09.00-09.59, 12.00-12.59, and 19.00-19.59. It makes optimal QSM with Ws less than 3 minutes, and Ls less than 4 people

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, kualitas produk, dan harga terhadap kepuasan pelanggan Kereta Api Gajayana. Sebagai salah satu moda transportasi jarak jauh yang diminati, Kereta Api Gajayana menawarkan keamanan, kenyamanan, dan efisiensi waktu. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya beberapa faktor seperti pelayanan, produk, dan harga dalam menentukan tingkat kepuasan pelanggan, yang berdampak pada loyalitas pelanggan dan keberlanjutan bisnis. Melalui analisis regresi linier berganda, diperoleh hasil bahwa kual|itas pelayanan, produk, dan harga secara bersamaan mem|il|ik|i pengaruh s|ign|if|ikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Uji T menunjukkan bahwa setiap variabel independen memberikan pengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, dengan kualitas pelayanan sebagai variabel dominan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan manfaat berupa wawasan bagi Kereta Api Gajayana untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan, produk, dan pengelolaan harga guna memenuhi kebutuhan dan harapan pelanggan. Kesimpulannya, upaya peningkatan pada ketiga variabel ini sangat penting untuk mempertahankan daya saing dan memperkuat posisi Kereta Api Gajayana sebagai pilihan utama transportasi jarak jau

    The Effect Of Work Motivation On Employee Performance At Pt Bukit Indah Permai (BiIP) Malang City

    Human resources quality can be measured through employee performance, which includes work results in terms of quality and quantity. To achieve high performance, companies need to pay attention to various influencing factors, work motivation as background research. The study purpose was to determine how work motivation affects employee performance in this company. The research object is PT Bukit Indah Permai (BIP) Malang City, a company in the housing midwife. The method used is quantitative method and SPSS. The study objective found that there was a positive and significant effect of work motivation variables on employee performance in the object of this research. This result is supported by the existence of a t count value of 4.472, which is higher than the t table value of 2.00856. In addition, this result is also supported by the findings of the ANOVA test which shows a p-value of 0.00 which is lower than the 0.05 level. The conclusion is that there is a positive and significant effect of work motivation variables on employee performance in this company

    Latar belakang masalah adalah loyalitas karyawan sangatlah penting, mengingat potensi dampaknya di berbagai aspek dalam lingkup internal perusahaan. Motivasi kerja dan lingkungan kerja sebagai variabel independen merupakan aspek penting dalam meningkatkan variabel dependen, loyalitas. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi kerja karyawan dan kondisi lingkungan kerja dalam memengaruhi loyalitas karyawan. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei didukung metode kuantitaif untuk membantu pendekatan penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk menganalisis tingkat motivasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap loyalitas karyawan di salah satu Pperusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan makanan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dan kuesioner dari divisi pengemasan produk pangan, menggunakan sampel 40 partisipan dengan puposive sampling untuk mengetahui tingkat turnover intention di perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah hasil analisia pada pegawai di perusahaan tersebut mempunyai pengaruh dari motivasi kerja terhadap loyalitas dan pengaruh lingkungan kerja secara parsial terhadap loyalitas serta menganalisis pengaruh motivasi, lingkungan kerja secara bersama sama terhadap loyalitas karyawan,perlunya pendekatan persuasif dan pelatihan pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan juga sekunder dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linier berganda. Setelah penelitian ini dikerjakan, perusahaan mencoba mengimplementasikan hasil penelitian yaitu perlunya pendekatan persuasif dan pelatihan pegawai  berdasarkan motivasi dan lingkungan kerja untuk meningkatnya loyalitas pegawai. &nbsp

    Abstract. The Russian government's plan to reduce spending, plan not to extend the stimulus package and have the possibility of raising taxes by 2021 are steps to be taken. One of the objectives of the policy of the Russian Federation is to provide the conditions for complete economic development for all levels of society. This study aims to explain how one company in the Russian Federation in the city of Kazan is related to increasing corporate liquidity and risk management. This study uses quantitative analysis methods with liquidity analysis approaches and corporate risk assessment. The results of this study explain that a company in the Russian Federation in the city of Kazan can develop measures to increase corporate liquidity and risk management. The International Monetary Fund also warned that the Russian government's conservative economic policies could impede an immediate recovery - especially in the context of the second wave of infections that pushed the country's healthcare system to its limits

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
