Dos décadas de publicaciones: análisis bibliométrico de la producción investigativa en psicología en la Fundación Universitaria Konrad Lorenz.
Get PDF15 Páginas: figuras; tablas.El objetivo general de este estudio fue analizar la producción investigativa de la Facultad de Psicología de la Fundación Universitaria Konrad Lorenz (KL) a partir de las publicaciones hechas en revistas catalogadas por Publindex. Se desarrolló un estudio documental de tipo bibliométrico en el cual se contempló la información concerniente a la especialidad del artículo (área de la psicología), el autor, el año de publicación, la revista de publicación, y el tipo de estudio desarrollado. En total se recopilaron 120 artículos originales, publicados por 160 autores, entre los años de 1991 y 2012, en 9 revistas nacionales. Destacan los años de 1994 (16 artículos), 2010 (11 artículos) y 2011 (11 artículos), como los años con mayor cantidad de publicaciones durante el periodo analizado; las revistas Suma Psicológica (86 artículos) y Revista Latinoamericana de Psicología (13 artículos) fueron los medios con mayor cantidad de publicaciones de la universidad.The general objective of this study was to analyze the research output of the Faculty of Psychology of the Konrad Lorenz University Foundation (KL) from the publications made in journals catalogued by Publindex. A documentary bibliometric study was developed in which information concerning the specialty of the article (area of psychology), the author, the year of publication, the journal of publication, and the type of study developed was considered. A total of 120 original articles, published by 160 authors, were collected between 1991 and 2012 in 9 national journals. This manuscript was written around 1300; in the 15th century it was in the Carthusian Monastery of Basel, and in the 17th century it was the property of Remigius Fäsch, a collector from Basel. Contributions to the characterization of entrepreneurial behavior of Konrad Lorenz students
No full textEl emprendimiento desde las Instituciones de Educación Superior –IES- es una preocupación nacional y local. El objetivo de este articulo es caracterizar el comportamiento emprendedor de los estudiantes de pregrado de todas las facultades en la Fundación Universitaria Konrad Lorenz, a través de una de las herramientas homologadas internacionalmente en la búsqueda del Perfil emprendedor, conocida como CCE o Características del Comportamiento Emprendedor en el contexto científico del emprendimiento, y diseñada por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas a través de EMPRETEC, programa diseñado para la investigación y el fomento del emprendimiento. Este proceso de investigación se desprende originalmente de las construcciones teóricas de McClelland, acerca de los factores motivacionales y de su teoría de las necesidades, las cuales han sido asociadas directamente al comportamiento emprendedor gracias a que el autor desarrolló sus investigaciones utilizando empresarios de diferentes sectores como sujetos de estudio. La metodología permite caracterizar el comportamiento de los emprendedores mediante la evaluación de 10 factores asociados a las necesidades de logro, afiliación y poder. The methodology characterizes the behavior of entrepreneurs by assessing 10 factors associated with the need for achievement, affiliation and power. Wnt/β-Catenin Signaling Pathway Is Necessary for the Specification but Not the Maintenance of the Mouse Retinal Pigment Epithelium
Get PDFβ-Catenin (Ctnnb1) has been shown to play critical roles in the development and maintenance of epithelial cells, including the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE). Ctnnb1 is not only a component of intercellular junctions in the epithelium, it also functions as a transcriptional regulator in the Wnt signaling pathway. To identify which of its functional modalities is critically involved in mouse RPE development and maintenance, we varied Ctnnb1 gene content and activity in mouse RPE lineage cells and tested their impacts on mouse eye development. We found that a Ctnnb1 double mutant (Ctnnb1dm), which exhibits impaired transcriptional activity, could not replace Ctnnb1 in the RPE, whereas Ctnnb1Y654E, which has reduced affinity for the junctions, could do so. Expression of the constitutively active Ctnnb1∆ex3 mutant also suppressed the development of RPE, instead facilitating a ciliary cell fate. However, the post-mitotic or mature RPE was insensitive to the loss, inactivation, or constitutive activation of Ctnnb1. Collectively, our results suggest that Ctnnb1 should be maintained within an optimal range to specify RPE through transcriptional regulation of Wnt target genes in the optic neuroepithelium.</p
