No full textVolunteering is a cornerstone of our society. We always tend to think on a much wider perspective hence the reason why people agree to work without pay by choice. Therefore, working for a non-profit organization that benefits society is appealing to us.
The purpose of this thesis is to develop a concept which would make the volun-teering process easier. It’s commonly known that people often have a strong de-sire to volunteer yet never proceed further because the process of finding a cause your passionate about and joining that cause can be a tedious task.
As a solution to this problem, An Android application will be developed so that it can be used to find volunteering events as well as create your own. These events will be easily accessible and simple to register to. The application will be devel-oped using Java and Android studio will be my IDE and Firebase will serve as my server
A Hybrid CNN-LSTM Model for Improving Accuracy of Movie Reviews Sentiment Analysis
No full textNowadays, social media has become a tremendous source of acquiring user’s opinions. With the advancement of technology and sophistication of the internet, a huge amount of data is generated from various sources like social blogs, websites, etc. In recent times, the blogs and websites are the real-time means of gathering product reviews. However, excessive number of blogs on the cloud has enabled the generation of huge volume of information in different forms like attitudes, opinions, and reviews. Therefore, a dire need emerges to find a method to extract meaningful information from big data, classify it into different categories and predict end user’s behaviors or sentiments. Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model have been applied to different Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks with remarkable and effective results. The CNN model efficiently extracts higher level features using convolutional layers and max-pooling layers. The LSTM model is capable to capture long-term dependencies between word sequences. In this study, we propose a hybrid model using LSTM and very deep CNN model named as Hybrid CNN-LSTM Model to overcome the sentiment analysis problem. First, we use Word to Vector (Word2Vc) approach to train initial word embeddings. The Word2Vc translates the text strings into a vector of numeric values, computes distance between words, and makes groups of similar words based on their meanings. Afterword embedding is performed in which the proposed model combines set of features that are extracted by convolution and global max-pooling layers with long term dependencies. The proposed model also uses dropout technology, normalization and a rectified linear unit for accuracy improvement. Our results show that the proposed Hybrid CNN-LSTM Model outperforms traditional deep learning and machine learning techniques in terms of precision, recall, f-measure, and accuracy. Our approach achieved competitive results using state-of-the-art techniques on the IMDB movie review dataset and Amazon movie reviews dataset

Basit yargılama usulü, asliye ceza mahkemesinin görev alanına giren ve üst sınırı 2 yıla kadar suçlarda uygulanabilecektir. Bu usulde taraflara yazılı savunma yapma imkânı tanınacak ve duruşma yapılmaksızın karar verilebilecektir. Sanık hakkında Ceza Muhakemesi Kanununda öngörülen her türlü hüküm verilebilecek ve mahkûmiyet halinde indirilmiş bir ceza belirlenecektir. Hoffmann). Each Syriac word is defined in Arabic, often with more than one Arabic equivalent; in addition, the author deals not just with individual Syriac words, but in some cases with phrases. Gottheil used 21 manuscripts (from Oxford, London, Paris, Berlin, Leiden, and Rome) for this edition, and he has supplied a thorough critical apparatus; the manuscripts are described in the introduction. While some manuscripts give the Arabic glosses in Syriac characters (i.e. Garshuni), Gottheil has presented them here in Arabic script. These two volumes will be of great interest to Syriac lexicographers and those who study interactions between Syriac and Arabic.Contains an English introduction by Richard J.H. Gotthei

Optimization of courtyards design factors in the hot humid climate: energy and thermal assessment / Abdul Basit Ali Ahmed Almhafdy
No full textCourtyards are regarded as a microclimate modifier, and their application has become popular in various forms of public buildings. This thesis reviews design factors of courtyards in hospitals in Malaysia, and assesses the resulting thermal performance of the courtyard space and energy performance of the attached built volume. The study took a sequential approach whereby knowledge gained from each phase of research,served to inform the direction for the next phase of the study. It began with the initialinquiry on what are the courtyard characteristics applied in hospitals in Malaysia. Data were gathered through field survey, followed by a typology analysis involving 34 courtyards in 19 government hospitals. The survey revealed extensive use of OEnclosure Courtyard (OEC) and U-Enclosure Courtyard (UEC), and that although the spaces inside the surveyed courtyards appeared as appealing, activities inside these courtyards were rather limited. This led to the next research inquiry on the thermal condition inside the courtyard and the adjacent rooms / built volumes. A field measurement was conducted on a case study hospital, where the thermal condition in the OEC and UEC were collected, analysed and compared
