No full textFabio Tronchetti is an Associate Professor of Law at the School of Law of the Harbin Institute of Technology, People’s Republic of China, where he also serves as Director of the International Law Department. Since January 2014 he works as an Adjunct Professor of Comparative National Space Law at the the School of Law of the University of Mississippi, United States. Earlier in his career he was Lecturer and Academic Coordinator at the International Institute of Air and Space Law, Leiden University, the Netherlands.
Professor Tronchetti is regularly invited to give lectures at several European and Chinese Universities, including the Cologne University (Germany), the Leiden University (the Netherlands) and the Beihang University (Beijing, China) and has participated as a speaker at numerous international conferences.
Prof. Tronchetti’s scholarly is primarily in the areas of international space law and public international law. His publications include two books and more than 20 articles in internationally peer-reviewed space law and policy journals, such as Space Policy, the German Journal of Air and Space Law, the Journal of Space Law, etc.
He holds a PhD in International Space Law (Leiden University) and an Advanced LL.M in International Relations (Bologna University, Italy). He is Member of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL), European Centre for Space Law (ECSL), and the Asian Society of International Law (ASIL). Varroa destructor in Juquitiba, Vale do Ribeira, Southeastern Brazil: Seasonal Effects on the Infestation Rate of Ectoparasitic Mites on Honeybees

Previous issue date: 2011Universidade de Taubaté (Unitau)We evaluated the infestation rate (IR) of the ectoparasite mite Varroa destructor in hives of the Africanized honeybee Apis mellifera in 10 commercial apiaries located in the municipality of Juquitiba (Vale do Ribeira, Sao Paulo, Brazil) during two seasons (summer and winter). From each apiary, three colonies were randomly selected for collection of bee samples in each season. The average mite IR was 7.3%, when pooling both seasons. For the summer period the average IR varied from 1.1 to 11.6% (KW = 25.9191; p < 0.01). For the winter period, IR values were observed ranging from 0.3 to 19.1% (KW = 18.7760; p < 0.05). In only three of the studied apiaries did the IR remain unchanged over both seasons, even though it tended to be higher during the winter period for the other apiaries. The mean IR of V. destructor was considered too small to cause any considerable loss to the colonies. Acessibilidade do cadeirante : o caso da Praça Tobias Barreto – Aracaju/SE
No full textPesquisa voltada ao estudo das condições de acessibilidade oferecidas aos usuários de cadeira de rodas que se utilizam da Praça Tobias Barreto em seus momentos de lazer, já que o acesso aos espaços públicos de lazer é um direito de todo e qualquer cidadão. Tratou-se de um estudo de caso abordado sob o viés qualitativo visando investigar através de um trajeto feito na praça se a mesma proporcionava segurança e autonomia para o cadeirante. Observações foram realizadas pela pesquisadora, sendo utilizado o recurso fotográfico para os registros dos espaços, o que contribuiu para um melhor entendimento e visualização no decorrer da pesquisa e todo o seu processo de desenvolvimento. Nessa pesquisa a intenção era de trazer elementos que possibilitasse ao leitor compreender o que é e qual a importância da acessibilidade e se a mesma estava sendo seguida na praça Tobias Barreto da cidade de Aracaju/SE. Foram observadas as estruturas e pontos de acesso do local, onde foram recolhidos dados para nossas análises. Lugares como ponto de ônibus, espaço de leitura, parque infantil dentre outros, foram observados e fotografados para uma melhor compreensão de toda a análise de dados com bases na fundamentação teórica das leituras acerca da acessibilidade e suas normas de acesso. Como resultado concluímos que a Praça Tobias Barreto é um belíssimo local de lazer, mas que não atende em vários pontos, quesitos ligados à acessibilidade no que tange a segurança e autonomia da pessoa com deficiência.
