В связи с этим автор ставит проблему поиска современных педагогических условий профессионального развития учителя. В процессе реализации модели развития профессионально-ценностных ориентаций учителя автор приходит к выводу, что изменение ценностных акцентов в педагогической деятельности учителя направленно на развитие ребенка, достижение новых образовательных результатов

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    The European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area are currently two key objectives for university learning, teaching and research in all European universities. University libraries must meet the challenges by offering the best library services to the academic community. In drafting the second strategic plan, Rebiun (Network of University Libraries) gathered comments and suggestions from professionals in Spanish university libraries. This article presents the reflections and suggestions contributed by the author regarding the support services that university libraries could offer for university research.L'espai europeu d'educació superior i l'espai europeu d'investigació són actualment dos objectius clau per a l'aprenentatge, la docència i la recerca de totes les universitats europees. Les biblioteques universitàries han de contribuir a aquests reptes, oferint els millors serveis bibliotecaris a la comunitat acadèmica. En la fase d'elaboració del seu segon Pla estratègic, la REBIUN (Red de Bibliotecas Universtarias) va recollir reflexions i suggeriments de diferents professionals de les biblioteques universitàries de l'Estat espanyol.     This thesis discusses reasons for the interest in monodisperse long chain alkanes and describes attempts, past and present, to synthesise such molecules. Chapter 1 discusses why the synthesis of such molecules are important and the objectives of this project. Chapter 2 reviews the methods previous groups have devised to prepare pure samples of long chain alkanes. In particular, work carried out by Whiting et al. at Bristol, whose scheme formed the basis of the early work in Durham. Chapter 3 describes the work in Durham and improvements which were made to Whiting's method, allowing the synthesis of longer chain lengths and greater quantities of materials to be achieved. Chapter 4 provides a summary of the practical work carried out by the author. Chapter 5 gives experimental details of the work described in Chapter 4

    Es planteja el caràcter bifront del gènere autobiogràfic. Siegfried Sassoon, poeta i combatent de la Primera Guerra Mundial, és l'autor de les memòries de George Sherston que narren la infantesa i joventut del protagonista en l'entorn rural idíl·lic del sud d'Anglaterra i, després, la seva participació al front occidental. Tanmateix, resulta difícil adscriure aquestes memòries a la ficció pel sol fet que els noms de l'autor i el narrador-protagonista no coincideixin. La trilogia autobiogràfica de Sherston narra amb precisió documental les vicissituds biogràfiques més rellevants de Sassoon. Ficció i autobiografia, història i memòria configuren alguns dels trets distintius d'una narració que explora i explota la hibridesa genèrica.The dual nature of the autobiography genre is approached. Siegfried Sassoon, poet and combatant in the First World War, is the author of the memoirs of George Sherston, which narrate the childhood and youth of the protagonist in the idyllic rural environment of southern England followed by his participation on the Western Front. However, it is difficult to label these memoirs as fiction only because the names of the author and the narrator-protagonist are not the same. Sherston's autobiographical trilogy narrates with documentary accuracy the most relevant biographical vicissitudes of Sassoon. Fiction and autobiography, history and memory make up some of the distinctive traits of a narrative that explores and exploits the hybridism of the genre.Programa de doctorat en Humanitat
