OPTIMASI DAN SIMULASI IMPLAN SAMBUNGAN TULANG LUTUT TITANIUM HIDROKSIAPATIT UNTUK APLIKASI BIOMEDIK
RINGKASAN Rinaldi, B. 2018. Optimasi dan Simulasi Implan Sambungan Tulang Lutut Titanium Hidroksiapatit Untuk Aplikasi Biomedik. Skripsi, Jurusan Teknik Mesin, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Malang. Pembimbing: (I) Dr. Andoko, S.T., M.T.(II) Avita Ayu Permanasari, S.T., M.T. Kata kunci: Implan, Titanium Hidroksiapatit, Equivalent Stress, Shear Stress, Total Deformation, RSM, Metode Elemen Hingga Implan merupakan suatu alat yang digunakan untuk menopang anggota tubuh maupun penyangga tulang yang patah. Scaffold, plate, bone screw, dan beberapa alat lain dapat digunakan secara kombinasi menjadi penopang dan pengisi sambungan antara tulang yang patah sebelum jaringannya mengalami pertumbuhan. Sifat biokompatibel dari sebuah material menjadi pertimbangan yang penting pada proses perencanaan sebuah alat kesehatan. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui ketahanan material titanium hidroksiapatit sebagai bahan implan, untuk pengembangan dan terobosan dalam dunia medis. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode elemen hingga yaitu simulasi pada software Ansys 18.1 dan optimasi menggunakan software Minitab. Implan diberikan perlakuan sintering dengan 3 variasi temperatur (9000C, 11000C, 13000C), selanjutnya implan didesain dan diberikan pembebanan dengan 3 variasi (700N, 750 N, 800 N). Hasil simulasi dari implan titanium hidroksiapatit kemudian dibandingkan dengan implan pada penelitian sebelumnya yaitu titanium, duralium dan ZnO-Al2O3. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi bahan titanium hidroksiapatit memiliki tegangan tekan sebesar 1,521 MPa dibandingkan dengan implan titanium yang memiliki tegangan tekan tertinggi dari bahan material implan pada penelitian sebelumnya sebesar 0,15 MPa. Perbandingan yang sama juga dilakukan pada tegangan geser sebesar 0,12982 MPa lebih tinggi dari implan titanium sebesar 0,0043581 MPa. Hasil deformasi dari titanium hidroksiapatit memiliki nilai 0,042 mm. Secara keseluruhan material implan titanium hidroksiapatit memiliki nilai yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan material implan titanium. Nilai optimasi terbaik untuk pengujian implan titanium hidroksiapatit adalah pada pembebanan 750 N dan temperatur sintering 11000 C. SUMMARY Rinaldi, B. 2018. Scaffold, plate, bone screw, and several other devices can be used in combination to support and fill the joint between broken bones before the tissue growth occurs. The biocompatible nature of a material is an important consideration in the design of a medical device. This study intends to determine the resistance of titanium hydroxyapatite material as implant material, for the development and breakthrough in the medical world. This method uses Finite Element Method and simulation on Ansys 18.1 software and optimization using Minitab software. Implants were firstly produced by sintering temperature using 3 different temperatures (9000 C, 11000 C and 13000 C). Afterwords the implant were designed and simulated using 3 different loading (700 N, 750 N and 800 N). The simulation results of titanium hidroksiapatit were then compared with previously studied titanium, duralium and ZnO-Al2O3 implants. Based on the simulation results the titanium hydroxyapatite material shown higher compressive stress of 1.521 MPa compared with the titanium implants which showing the highest compressive stress among other previously studied implants with 0,15 MPa. The similar comparison is also observed on the shear stress, with 0.12982 MPa, which is much higher than that of titanium implant (0.0043581 MPa). The deformation of titanium hydroxyapatite implant is determined to be 0.042 mm. The overall results of titanium hydroxyapatite implant material have a better value compared to titanium implant material indicating the higher material properties of titanium hidroksiapatit than the other. On the otherhand tbased on optimization by using minitab, the titanium hidroksiapatit implant shows the best performance at the loading 750 N and sintering temperature of 11000 C

Experimental tests about the cooling/freezing of the molten salts in the receiver tubes of a solar power plant with parabolic trough
In 2003 ENEA realized the PCS experimental Facility at Casaccia Research Centre (Rome, Italy), in order to test in real operating conditions the components of a parabolic trough solar plant, and to evaluate the technical feasibility of using the solar molten salts mixture (60% NaNO3, 40% KNO3, melting point 220÷240°C) in such a type of plant. ENEA also had the need to assess the behaviour of the solar receiver tubes during abnormal operating situations (wrong operation, pump block, power failure, etc.), when a block of the circulation of the molten salts may occur and cause the cooling or, worse, the freezing of the salts mixture inside the pipes. Some experimental tests have been performed, aimed to examine what happens in such a cases. In fact, without quick maneuvers to restart the circulation of the molten salts or to readily empty the receiver tubes, the molten salts contained in them may cool down to temperatures near/below the solidification. In this report are shown the results of the experimental tests carried out on the receiver tubes of the PCS Facility by cooling the process fluid down to temperatures near or below its freezing point. The tests show that the solidification of the salts does not damage the components of the plant but it is manageable and reversible, provided you apply the correct procedures. © 2017 Author(s)

The Author analyses, among many possible meanings of citizenship, two types which had a part in the process of modern State building: citizenship is sometimes a relationship between the individual and the sovereign, sometimes consciousness of a collective membership. Both meanings have a link with the sovereignty and the process of modern State building. After the “great Neutralisation” of the Nineteenth Century, some reflections are developed about the relationship between citizenship and sovereignty in the Twentieth Century. Finally, the Author emphasizes the necessity of a statute that sets the requirements needed to become a citizen in order to pacify the conflicts of multicultural societies
The Italian Supreme Court Joint Sections set forth the interpretative underpinnings of the "Gelli-Bianco" law: varying degrees of guilt aimed at limiting medical liability, article 2236 C.C. makes a comeback
The article’s author has sought to summarize the regulatory and legal evolution of accidental criminal liability of doctors starting from earliest positions up until the enactment of the Gelli-Bianco law. An in-depth analysis is laid out based on the Italian Supreme Court Joint Sections ruling n. 8770/2018 (so-called Mariotti decision). The author has also elaborated upon the notion of varying degrees of guilt, which was taken out of the law’s wording, to be later reintroduced as a concept by judicial interpretation. It is worth noting that Article 3 of the Balduzzi decree, article 590 sexies of the Italian Criminal Code and the reference to article 2236 of the Civil Code reflect an awareness on the part of legislators that medical liability needs to be limited. Clearly, the approach based on lawfulness alone, which protects from liability physicians that have adhered to guidelines, has been dismissed, superseded by the notion of minor fault. Nonetheless, the new legislation, in the author’s estimation, constitutes a standard particularly ill-suited to modern medical practice, which has a high degree of complexity. The author concludes that it might be worth considering a more balanced alternative: getting back to the notion of fault, considering minor fault relevant, rather than major fault
