No full textThis project is about how Bjarne Corydon, the finance minister at the time, chose Goldman Sachs as the best candidates to buy stocks in the government owned corporation DONG Energy. At the time DONG energy was in need of extensive capital and after several months intensive search for a possible investor, an investor was found and it was the American investment banking firm Goldman Sachs. The proposal was then presented by Bjarne Corydon to the financial representatives of other members of parliament. Focusing mainly on Bjarne Corydon, this project contains an appliance of some of the theories of both sociology and politics subjects, which will help to define some of the aspects that occurred during the time of negotiations with his fellow members of parliament and the government. Furthermore it highlights some of the core problems during the financial trade between the government and Goldman Sachs and including other members of parliament opinion´s of the trade. Towards the end of the project it conjugates the most important sub conclusions of the analyzed events and concluding with a tender whether or not Bjarne Corydon is being forced to submit Goldman Sachs esoterically as the best representatives for the trade of DONG. Dette projekt handler om hvordan den tidligere finansminister Bjarne Corydon, valgte Goldman Sachs som den bedst mulige investorer i DONG. DONG havde på dette tidspunkt brug for ekstern kapital udvidelse og efter flere måneders søgning på en mulig aktør og blev den amerikanske investeringsbank Goldman Sachs valgt. Den valgte aktør blev præsenteret til de andre finans repræsentanter fra forligskredsen og de blev alle sammen enige om det. Primært fokuserer vi i projektet på Bjarne Corydon og indeholder teorier fra sociologi og politologi som bliver brugt i forbindelse med til at belyse nogle af de hændelser der forekom under forhandlingerne mellem Bjarne Corydon, regeringen og andre folketingsmedlemmer. Endvidere belyses nogle af de vigtigste hændelser der forekom under forhandlingerne, samt er der også inkluderet holdninger omkring handlen af involverede politikere og eksterne eksperter.
