Hypernuclei and nuclear matter in a chiral SU(3) RMF model
We develop a chiral SU(3) RMF model for octet baryons, as an extension of the recently developed chiral SU(2) RMF model with logarithmic sigma potential. For Σ -meson coupling, strong repulsion (SR) and weak repulsion (WR) cases are examined in existing atomic shift data of Σ- . In both of these cases, we need an attractive pocket of a few MeV depth around nuclear surface
Początki działalności radia RMF FM w Polsce
In 2024, it will have been 25 years since the democratic changes that took place in Poland. One of the consequences of the political transformation in 1989 was the emergence of independent media separate from government control. This resulted in the development of not only free newspapers and magazines, but also electronic media. Initially, private radio stations were established as a part of this media transformation. The first radiostation to break the monopoly of Polish Radio wasRadio Małopolska FUN, later known as RMF. This article presents the political, economic, and social conditions during the birth of independent private radio and the entire media system in Poland. The author focusses on the legal environment that initially hindered the development of this segment. It describes the actions taken by the founders of RMF to overcome bureaucratic restrictions, such as using legal loopholes and conflicting interpretations. Another aspect discussed is the construction of the editorial team and the programming. At that time, it was a completely new concept, using market research and audience analysis to build the station\u27s offerings. The experiences of primarilyFrench radio were adapted to Polish reality. This article shows the realities of the emerging radio market in Poland from the perspective of the first independent, commercial station, Radio Małopolska FUN – RMF.W 2024 roku mija 25 lat od demokratycznych przemian, które miały miejsce w Polsce. Opisuje działania twórców radia RMF podejmowane w celu przełamania biurokratycznych ograniczeń , w tym wykorzystywanie luk prawnych i często sprzecznych interpretacji, forteli, któ re doprowadziły do powstania radia.
The Phraseological Innovations in Radio News (The Case Study of Program Trzeci Polskiego Radia and RMF FM)
The article is an analysis of the idiomatic innovation typical for the radio news (based on the language of two polish radio stations: Program Trzeci Polskiego Radia and RMF FM). The author attempts to characterize this phenomenon, referring to the classification of Stanisław Bąba. She also relates her observations to the conclusions of other linguists who have taken up this issue
New effective interactions in RMF theory with non-linear terms and density-dependent meson-nucleon coupling
New parameter sets for the Lagrangian density in the relativistic mean field (RMF) theory, PK1 with nonlinear sigma- and omega-meson self-coupling, PK1R with nonlinear sigma-, omega-, and rho-meson self-coupling, and PKDD with the density-dependent meson-nucleon coupling are proposed. They are able to provide an excellent description not only for the properties of nuclear matter but also for the nuclei in and far from the valley of beta stability. For the first time in the parametrization of the RMF Lagrangian density, the center-of-mass correction is treated by a microscopic way, which is essential to unify the description of nuclei from light to heavy regions with one effective interaction.Physics, NuclearSCI(E)100ARTICLE3null6

Persuasive techniques in broadcast journalism texts illustrated with an example from “Fakty RMF FM” Radio News Programmes (June–August 2013)
The author analyses the role of the radio news bulletin, based on the example of “Fakty” on the RMF FM radio station. In this, he uses the theory of persuasive techniques researched by M. Gajlewicz; however, he also takes into account linguistic aspects of the communication and modern rhetoric understood as effective persuading.
The purpose of the article is to prove that radio news on a commercial radio station is not actually just “pure” information; a neutral informative style is consequently displaced by the rhetorical style, full of intentionally used linguistic mechanisms, to make the information more persuasive
Persistent coexistence of cyclically competing species in spatially extended ecosystems
abstract: A fundamental result in the evolutionary-game paradigm of cyclic competition in spatially extended ecological systems, as represented by the classic Reichenbach-Mobilia-Frey (RMF) model, is that high mobility tends to hamper or even exclude species coexistence. This result was obtained under the hypothesis that individuals move randomly without taking into account the suitability of their local environment. We incorporate local habitat suitability into the RMF model and investigate its effect on coexistence. In particular, we hypothesize the use of “basic instinct” of an individual to determine its movement at any time step. That is, an individual is more likely to move when the local habitat becomes hostile and is no longer favorable for survival and growth. We show that, when such local habitat suitability is taken into account, robust coexistence can emerge even in the high-mobility regime where extinction is certain in the RMF model. A surprising finding is that coexistence is accompanied by the occurrence of substantial empty space in the system. Reexamination of the RMF model confirms the necessity and the important role of empty space in coexistence. Our study implies that adaptation/movements according to local habitat suitability are a fundamental factor to promote species coexistence and, consequently, biodiversity.Copyright (2014) American Institute of Physics.
