Relationships' sustainability: the case of German wheat-to-bread chain
No full textIn recent years there has been a shift in emphasis from transaction-based to more co-operative relationships, as chain members have recognised the need to invest in their supply chain relationships in order to protect their businesses. These non-arm’s-length relationships are capable of generating relational rents for chain partners. The main aim of this paper is to investigate why, in spite of the advantages of the non-arm’s-length relationships, some relationships do not continue. To enhance the understanding of the termination process, we identify and analyse the factors inducing relationship sustainability (continuation) as well as termination in the case of the German wheat-to-bread chain. The study built on the findings of relationship marketing approach that stresses the importance of building longer-term relationships with customers rather than carrying out individual transactions. In addition, the findings of modern microeconomic theories including transaction costs theory and industrial theory are taken into consideration. The empirical analysis is based on two data sets: First, a quantitative questionnaire survey and second, interviews with stakeholders of the wheat-to-bread chain were conducted, aiming at identifying the role of economic and behavioral dimensions of relationships for their termination. The questionnaire survey provides that businesses assess the relationships in the wheat-to-bread chain, being of high quality and long term duration. The results show that trust, satisfaction and commitment - the behavioural dimensions of relationships quality - are very high in the considered chain. Competitive price, competitive quality and supply continuity were identified as determinants mostly important for buyers’ satisfaction as directly influencing relationships’ performance. In addition, the results demonstrate that lack of trust is the reason why relationships do not develop or are terminated in the early phases of the relationship. In the long lasting relationships on the other hand, the reasons for termination are mostly of economic nature. The paper shows why sustainable relationships may enhance business’ competitiveness and analyses why in spite of it the relationships terminate. As the result of the research we understand the sustainable relationships as those relationships in that the costs for starting the relationship are exceeded by returns gained from the cooperation in time.economic relationships, sustainability, termination, Agribusiness,

The author sums up basic connotations of terms used in connection with the extremism. She acquaints readers with the best known extremist organisation in Czech republic and their methods how to address other people, namely teenagers. However, the text is focused especially on the real situation and that s why it contains an empirical part dedicated to research, where she submits and evaluates the dates obtained from questionnaires. The aim of this text is an analyse of the attitude of teenagers (without the right to vote) to the extremist organisation and vice versa the attitude of this organisation to the teenagers. The hypothesis is based on the notion that teenagers join the extremist organisation because of their dissatisfaction with the political situation and even as the absence of the right to vote

No full textOvaj rad govori o teorijskim, kulturno-povijesnim, aksiološkim i polemičkim aspektima likovnokritičkih tekstova u međuratnom opusu Miroslava Krleže. Usredotočujući se na dijalog između povijesti umjetnosti i književne teorije, predstojeća rasprava otvara jednu od mogućih analitičkih vizura na Krležinu (likovno)kritičku praksu u okviru divergentnih kulturoloških i kontekstualnih silnica prve trećine 20. stoljeća. Na temelju komparativne analize izabranih eseja i feljtona Krležinu likovnu kritiku tumačimo kao sredstvo valorizacije suvremenih umjetničkih gibanja i tendencija u polju modernističkoga slikarstva, skulpture i arhitekture. Namjera ovoga rada je opisati formalne, značenjske i tematske osobitosti Krležinih likovnokritičkih tekstova te ukazati na važnost autorove kritičke prakse u kontekstu artikulacije modernističkog kanona hrvatske/jugoslavenske likovne umjetnosti.This paper discusses theoretical, cultural-historical, axiological and polemical aspects of art critical texts in the Miroslav Krleža's interwar oeuvre. Focusing on the dialogue between art history and literary theory, the forthcoming discussion suggests one of the possible analytical views on Krleža's (art) critical praxis within the divergent cultural and contextual forces of the first third of the 20th century. Based on a comparative analysis of selected essays and feuilletons, we interpret Krleža's art criticism as a mean of valorization of contemporary art movements and tendencies in the field of modernist painting, sculpture and architecture. The aim of this paper is to describe formal, semantic and thematic features of Krleža's critical texts and to point out the importance of the author 's critical practice in the context of articulation of the modernist canon of Croatian / Yugoslav art

First part of the work describes the properties of lipid bilayer consisting of DPPC (dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine) and various cholesterol concentrations (5 mol % and 20 mol %). The properties are studied via the free probe - DPH (diphenylhexatriene) which is in various concentrations randomly immersed into both layers of the membrane. Second part of this work studies the properties of DOPC (dioleoylphosphatidylcholine) membrane via pyrene probes attached to 4th , 6th , 8th , and 10th carbon atom in both acyl chains of the host lipid and compares how the membrane properties differ based on the various pyrene positions. Here we focused also on dimerization rate of pyrene probes based on their position and the relationship with lateral pressure profile. Background: The aim of this diploma thesis is to determinate whether the length of fixation influences the processing of bone marrow trepanobiopsies. Methods: This study was performed on twelve bone marrow trepanobiopsy specimens fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin (NBF). The samples were divided into two groups based on diagnosis. Three fixation lengths (24 hours, 48 hours, and more than 48 hours) were examined. The fixed samples were processed in the laboratory as standard, stained in a Shandon Varistain Gemini staining machine and handed over to a clinical pathologist for evaluation. Results: Individual fixation lengths achieved the following laboratory technician/clinical pathologist scores: the 24-hour fixation score was 6.71/7.71, the 48-hour fixation score was 6.57/7.71, and the more than 48-hour fixation score was 7.42/8.42. Chłopcy malowani (piórem Andrzeja Struga i Miroslava Krležy). Etiuda komparatystyczna
No full textThe main subject of the article is a diverse image of the generation of World War I in Polish and Balkan literature. The two works which have been a subject of the comparative study are Badge of Loyal Service by Andrzej Strug and the novel Domobran Jambrek by Miroslaw Krleža (a part of Croatian God Mars). The author explains the principles and functions of pompous poetics of the description of war in the prose by Strug and in a completely different, ironic poetics of the stories by Krleža. Despite many similarities, the two works transmit different artistic and political ideologies. In the last part of the article, another point of reference to the subject of war is a novel by Serbian writer Miloš Crnjanski: Records of Czarnojevic. In the conclusion of her considerations, the author points to the diversity of contexts of tradition and draws attention to the importance of formative function of Polish Romanticism.Głównym tematem artykułu jest zróżnicowanie obrazu pokolenia I wojny światowej w literaturze polskiej i bałkańskiej. Przedmiotem przeprowadzonej analizy porównawczej stały się dwa utwory: Odznaka za wierną służbę Andrzeja Struga oraz opowiadanie Ambrożek domobrońca (Domobran Jambrek) Miroslava Krležy z tomu Chorwacki bóg Mars. Autorka objaśnia zasady i funkcję patetycznej poetyki opisu wojny w prozie Struga oraz zupełnie odmiennej, ironicznej poetyki opowiadania Krležy. Mimo wielu podobieństw, oba utwory emitują odmienne ideologie artystyczne i polityczne. W zakończeniu artykułu kolejnym odniesieniem dla tematu wojennego jest powieść serbskiego pisarza, Miloša Crnjanskiego pt. Zapiski o Czarnojeviciu. W konkluzji rozważań autorka wskazuje na odmienność kontekstów tradycji i zwraca uwagę na formacyjne znaczenie polskiego romantyzmu.
