RESPON PEMANGKASAN PUCUK DAN KONSENTRASI PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR (URIN SAPI) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL MENTIMUN (Cucumis sativus L.) VARIETAS NEW ROBERTO
Keadaan alam Indonesia memungkinkan dilakukan budidaya beberapa jenis tanaman sayuran,
baik tanaman lokal maupun dari luar negeri. Salah satu jenis sayuran itu adalah mentimun.
Mentimun merupakan salah satu sayuran atau buah yang banyak diusahakan petani dalam
berbagai skala usaha tani, baik untuk keperluan pasar tradisional, swalayan, dan ekspor.
Mentimun juga digunakan untuk asinan, bahan baku industri kecantikan dan obat-obatan alami,
namun kendala yang dihadapi, yaitu kesulitan mendapatkan hasil yang kurang maksimal. Tujuan
dari penelitian ini mengkaji interaksi pemangkasan pucuk dan pemberian urin sapi untuk
memperoleh pertumbuhan dan hasil mentimun. Penelitian dilaksanakandi Desa Gamol,
Kelurahan Balecatur, Kecamatan Gamping, Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta
pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2012. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode percobaan lapangan
dengan menggunakan Rancangan Percobaan Petak Terbagi (Split Plot) yang terdiri atas
pemangkasan pucuk sebagai petak utama (Main Plot) dan konsentrasi pemberian urin sapi
sebagai anak petak (Sub Plot). Main Plot terdiri atas 3 aras, yaitu: P1= pemangkasan pucuk 15
HST, P2= pemangkasan pucuk 20 HST, P3= pemangkasan pucuk 25 HST. Sub Plot terdiri atas 4
aras, yaitu: U0= konsentrasi urin sapi 0%, U1= konsentrasi urin sapi 30%, U2= konsentrasi urin
sapi 40%, U3= konsentrasi urin sapi 50%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya interaksi pada
kadar air buah antara aplikasi pemangkasan pucuk dan konsentrasi urin sapi. Perlakuan
pemangkasan pucuk menunjukkan pengaruh yang tidak nyata terhadap semua parameter, tetapi
pemangkasan pucuk 20 hst memberikan hasil terbaik pada umur berbunga.Sedangkan
konsentrasi urin sapi 40% menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata dan memberikan hasil terbaik
terhadap jumlah bunga umur 28 hst, jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot buah per tanaman, panjang
buah, diameter buah, bobot buah per hektar, dan kadar air buah.

Buah ini banyak disukai banyak golongan masyarakat mulai dari golongan berpenghasilan rendah sampai berpenghasilan tinggi, sehingga buah mentimun dibutuhkan dalam jumlah yang relatif besar dan berkesinambungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji interaksi pemangkasan pucuk dan pemberian urin sapi untuk memperoleh pertumbuhan dan hasil mentimun. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Dusun Gamol, Kelurahan, Balecatur, Kecamatan, Gamping, Kabupaten, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta pada bulan Maret sampai bulan Mei 2012. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode percobaan lapangan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Percobaan Petak Terbagi ( Split Plot ) yang ter diri atas pemangkasan pucuk sebagai petak utama ( Main Plot ) dan konsentrasi pemberian urin sapi sebagai anak petak ( Sub Plot ) . Parameter yang diamati meliputi Parameter Pertumbuhan ( Diameter batang, Jumlah cabang, Umur berbunga, Jumlah bunga, Umur panen ) , Parameter Hasil ( Jumlah buah per tanaman , Bobot buah per tanaman, Panjang buah, Diameter buah, Bobot buah per hektar ) , Parameter Kualitas ( Kadar air buah ) . Berdasarkan analisis hasil dan pembahasan pada perlakuan pemangkasan pucuk dan konsentrasi pemberian urin sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil mentimun varietas new roberto dapat diketahui bahwa, 1. Adanya interaksi antara perlakuan pemangkasan pucuk dan konsentrasi pemberian urin sapi pada parameter hasil yaitu pada kadar air buah dan bobot buah per hektar. 2.Pemangkasan pucuk pada semua perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata, sehinga tidak dapat menunjukkan waktu yang tepat terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil. 3.Perlakuan konsentrasi pemberian urin sapi 40 % merupakan konsentrasi terbaik pada parameter jumlah bunga 14 hst, 28 hst, jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot buah per tanaman, panjang buah, diameter buah, bobot buah per hektar, dan kadar air buah.

Cucumber is one vegetable that has many benefits in people's lives everyday. The fruit is much liked by many segments of society ranging from low-income groups to higher income, so the cucumber needed in relatively large amounts and continuous. This study aimed to examine the interaction trimming buds and giving cow urine to obtain growth and yield of cucumber. The experiment was conducted in Gamol Balecatur, Sleman, Yogyakarta in March to May 2012. The method used is the method of field experiments using Divided Plots Experiment Design (Split Plot), which consists of trimming the topping of the main plot (Main Plot) and the concentration giving cow urine as a sub plot (sub-plots). The parameters observed were growth parameters (stem diameter, number of branches, Age flowering, number of flowers, Age harvest), Parameter Results (number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight per hectare), Quality Parameters (the water content of the fruit). Based on the analysis of the results and discussion on the treatment of topping and giving cow urine concentration on the growth and yield of cucumber roberto new varieties can be seen that, 1. The interaction between treatment trimming buds and giving cow urine concentration on the parameters that yield the water content of fruits and fruit weight per hectare. 2. Cut shoots in all treatments had no significant effect, so that can not show the right time for all parameters of growth and yield. 3.Treatments cow urine concentration giving 40% is the best concentration of the parameter number HST rate of 14, 28 HST, the number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight per hectare, and the water content of the fruit.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
