KAJIAN PERGERAKAN SEDIMEN DASAR DAN GERUSAN PADA SALURAN LURUS ALLUVIAL
The movement of sediment on straight channel especially on altitude area with the alluvial, scour sediment or erosion as well transportation sediments influential to change the form of channel is very .If we see the day of the day flow on the basis  of the move will undermined if the speed flow produce voltage critical shear, exceed speed and voltage shear allowable .Scour sediment larger on the stream velocity around the bend if compared to channel on straight .Big and small scour sediment depent also to stream velocity at the channel and also depend kinds of the material  .Reseach done on straight up for flow in twist destroy the outside of the bend channel cliff always ,while on the part in the corner occured and large depositional hangs from the discharge of channel and morpologinya alittle depotional .Length of time jetting to achieved equilibrium (stabile) .Stabile condition achieved where there is balance between the sediment carried over with sediment incoming balanced and changes shape cross section almost nothing . On probation review channel alluvial this made six different  jetting time .but the discharge of the sama with q=0,00354 m3/det and D50=0,0004 and the tools sower of sand(sandfeeder) the installed on upstream channelKey words : discharge, material ,time equilibrium, stream velocit
KAJIAN NILAI DAYA DUKUNG TANAH DASAR MENGGUNAKAN DYNAMIC CONE PENETROMETER DAN CBR IN PLACE
In road construction, there is a need to assess the adequacy of the subgrade to behave satisfactorily beneath a pavement. The adequacy usually representated as California Bearing Ratio (CBR) value. In-situ penetration tests have been widely used in geotechnical and foundation engineering for site investigation in support of analysis and design. The CBR in-place is typical in-situ penetration test. While the Dynamic Cone Penetration Test (DCPT), relatively cost cheaper than CBR in-place test, could give the CBR value through formulas stated by researchers. This paper presented the comparison of CBR values found from CBR in-place test and DCP test along 22,4 km of road construction at WKS road, Merlung Region of Jambi Province. The result shown the same trend of CBR value of both methods. However, difference between two test method will result in different of segment CBR as use for pavement design. Based on minimum criterion, the minimum result should be use in design.Key words: daya dukung subgrade, CBR In-Place, DCP Tes
KAJIAN SUMUR RESAPAN ANTISIPASI GENANGAN AIR PADA PERUMAHAN PERMATA KENALI UNTUK PENCEGAHAN BANJIR
In Indonesia regularly occur climate change from the dry season to the rainy season every year. Increased development of community life means triggering change in land use is causing a shortage of open land as a catchment area. This leads to runoff and only a little rainwater that falls tanah.Hujan absorbed by the roof surface and ground houses could cause flooding. Especially in residential areas that have little existing land plants. To anticipate the occurrence of flooding, it is necessary to make infiltration wells on each housing residents. Infiltration wells serves to accommodate and absorb rainwater into the soil slowly.Based on data analysis and calculation according to SK SNI 03-2453-2002, can be determined recharge wells were circular with a diameter of one meter and a depth of 3 meters. Construction recharge wells that correspond according to the instructions Technical Implementation Procedures Drainage environmentally sound Settlement Region (2002) is a brick wall without plaster or brick red and given the holes in the walls.keyword : Â rain water , the flow of the surface , absorption wellsÂ
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Pengaruh Indikator Kesejahteraan Rakyat terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Provinsi Jambi
Economic growth is one indicator of successful development. An important indicator for knowing the economic conditions in a region in a certain period can be shown by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) data. An economy is said to experience a change in its development if the level of economic activity is higher than that achieved in the past. Thus, the higher the economic growth, the higher the social welfare. Jambi Province is one of the provinces on Sumatra Island whose economic growth is still below national economic growth, so it is necessary to develop a strategy to overcome this problem. This study uses multiple regression analysis to determine the variables of the people's welfare indicators that influence GRDP in Jambi Province by district/city. From the analysis results, two variables affect the GRDP value in Jambi Province: the percentage of houses with proper sanitation and IPM. It can be concluded, if the Provincial Government of Jambi wants to increase GRDP, then development can be directed at improving proper sanitation services in community housing environments and increasing the IPM of Jambi Province
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
