This is an endeavor to grasp how the theories can be applied to a practical situation. As a student in UiTM Perlis, it is a part of a study for everyone to undergo a case study project. So, for this purpose, I got the chance to research a company entity that manufactures a product that deeply interests us, which is Apple Inc, technology company. First, the general information regarding the corporate has been collected. Information is gathered through the primary and secondary source. In the second part of the report contains the specialized subject studies. The objective of the project is to figure on the background, organizational structure, products, and services that Apple provides. In this case study, I have analyses the strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of this company in the real business world by using SWOT analysis. Next, I studied regarding the product manufactured by Apple, which is primarily a standard technology utilized by the company for its selected product that we have chosen which is their iPhone smartphone. Here, I will be explaining the problems of the products that have grab my attention. The problem of the product that I discovered is the product are high price which makes difficulties for customer to have it for their daily live. Next, is the product has restrictions on the phone which is have lack of convenience for customer to used. And lastly, no variety of product and application developed by Apple has made it difficult for those who have a high expectation for the better iPhone mobile design and technology. In this study, I will be explaining deeper regarding the problems and I would also be discussing the alternatives solutions towards the problems

Simulation and bit error rate performance of code division multiple access / Muhammad Azwan Ibrahim

    No full text
Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) is different than those traditional ways in that it does not allocate frequency or time in user slots but gives the right to use both to all users simultaneously. To do this, a technique known as Spread Spectrum is implemented. The subject of this paper is on data detection and Bit Error Rate (BER) performance of CDMA. The backbone of the project is the CDMA simulation built by using Matlab Simulmk. In this paper, simulation and comparison on the effect of noise and the multipath propagation to the quality of signals in the Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (DS-CDMA) system for both simple non-rake receiver without any special error correction coding mechanism compared with the performance of Rake Receiver

Including material and photographs not included in most of the 100 other books about the champion, Ishmael Reed's The Complete Muhammad Ali is more than just a biography-it is a fascinating portrait of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st. An honest, balanced portrayal of Ali, the book includes voices that have been omitted from other books. It charts Ali's evolution from Black Nationalism to a universalism, but does not discount the Nation of Islam and Black Nationalism's important influence on his intellectual development. Filipino American author Emil Guillermo speaks about how "The Thrilla' In Manila" brought the Philippines into the 20th century. Fans of Muhammad Ali, boxing fans, and those interested in modern African American history and the Nation of Islam will be fascinated by this biography by an accomplished American author.Intro -- DEDICATION -- INTRODUCTION -- The Curious History of an Icon -- CHAPTER 1 -- CHAPTER 2 -- CHAPTER 3 -- CHAPTER 4 -- CHAPTER 5 -- CHAPTER 6 -- CHAPTER 7 -- Did the Secret Government Fear a U.S. Muslim/Overseas Muslim Alliance? -- CHAPTER 8 -- CHAPTER 9 -- The Break Between the Prophet and his Disciple -- CHAPTER 10 -- CHAPTER 11 -- CHAPTER 12 -- The GOAT (Greatest Of All Time): Ali or Louis? -- CHAPTER 13 -- The Nation of Islam, the Mob, Showdowns in Canada and Sonny Liston -- CHAPTER 14 -- CHAPTER 15 -- The Taunts: Marketing or Racism? -- CHAPTER 16 -- CHAPTER 17 -- CHAPTER 18 -- CHAPTER 19 -- Boxing and the Brain -- CHAPTER 20 -- Ali's Feet -- CHAPTER 21 -- Mr. Dick -- CHAPTER 22 -- CHAPTER 23 -- The Opening Ceremonies, November 2005 -- CHAPTER 24 -- December 2005, Las Vegas -- CHAPTER 25 -- CHAPTER 26 -- June 16, 2004 -- CHAPTER 27 -- CHAPTER 28 -- CHAPTER 29 -- Aix-en-Provence -- CHAPTER 30 -- Ali as a Black Nationalist -- San Francisco, January 2004 Black Liberation Book Fair -- CHAPTER 31 -- January 31, 2004 -- CHAPTER 32 -- October 2005, Chicago -- CHAPTER 33 -- Why Ali remained with Elijah instead of following Malcolm -- CHAPTER 34 -- CHAPTER 35 -- February 4, 2006, Oakland, California -- CHAPTER 36 -- Like Zeus Descending from Mount Olympus -- CHAPTER 37 -- CHAPTER 38 -- Tuesday, February 28, 2006, New York -- CHAPTER 39 -- Bigger Than Boxing -- CHAPTER 40 -- Tribes Gallery, New York, April 2006 -- CHAPTER 41 -- June 2006, Louisville, Kentucky -- CHAPTER 42 -- CHAPTER 43 -- CHAPTER 45 -- Bad Company -- CHAPTER 46 -- Coxson, A Very Charming Rogue -- CHAPTER 47 -- Ali and the largest embezzlement scheme in Wells Fargo history -- CHAPTER 48 -- CHAPTER 49 -- "Lonnie is a stabilizing force."-Harry Belafonte -- October 29, 2006 -- CHAPTER 50 -- Abdul Rahman -- CHAPTER 51 -- CHAPTER 52 -- CHAPTER 53How Will Ali Be Remembered? Design study of 12S-10P field excitation flux switching motor for hybrid electric vehicle / Muhammad Azwan Zainal

    No full text
This paper presents a new structure of 12slot-10pole field excitation flux switching motor (FEFSM) as an alternative candidate of non-Permanent Magnet (PM) machine for HEV drives. Design study and analysis of field excitation flux switching machine with non-rare-earth magnet for hybrid electric vehicle drive applications has been analyzed. The projected motor has a robust structure and suitable for high speed application as the rotor consist of only stack of iron and all the windings are located at the stator. The design target is a machine with the maximum torque, power and power density more than 200Nm, lOOkW and 3.5kW/kg, respectively, which competes with interior permanent magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM) used in existing hybrid electric vehicle. Some design feasibility studies on FEFSM based on 2D-FEA and deterministic optimization method has been applied to design the proposed machine. The proposed machine have achieved the target requirements that are average torque, power and power density of 200.3Nm, 108kW and 4.5kW/kg, respectively, better compared to existing IPMSM, suitable for HEV

Several studies have been carried out on residents at the older institutions shows that there are various issues in institutions that lead to decline in functional abilities and health status amongst the residents. The main issues are poor sleep quality, low participation in physical activity and deterioration in health status. Literature stressed that poor sleep quality is more frequent amongst older persons who live in institutions. Sleep disturbance, sleep difficulty and lack of quality of sleep will cause deterioration in health status and quality of life. However, information about sleep quality and factors that affect sleep quality amongst older persons in the institutions in Malaysia is insufficient and inconclusive. Therefore, the aim of this study is to identify sleep quality and factors that influence sleep quality amongst older people in institutions in Malaysia. Information obtains will provide a framework for occupational therapy in Malaysia to design effective intervention to ensure sleep quality amongst older people in institutions. This study found that there is poor sleep quality with median 6.00 (3.00-7.00), low participation in physical activity with median 382.50 (0.00-1017.000) and low level of health status amongst older persons in institutions.
