    Kajian mengenai hubungan antara teknik pembelajaran tahfiz dan pencapaian hafazan Al Qur\u27an para pelajar

    Matlamat utama kajian ialah meninjau teknik pembelajaran tahfiz al-Quran di institusi institusi tahfiz di Malaysia. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti teknik yang digunakan oleh pelajar dalam pembelajaran tahfiz, perbezaan latarbelakang pelajar dan amalan teknik pembelajaran tahfiz. Kajian ini juga mengenal pasti adakah terdapat hubungan antara teknik pembelajaran tahfiz dengan pencapaian pelajar. Kajian ini melibatkan 212 pelajar dari seluruh institusi tahfiz yang mengambil Diploma Tahfiz Darul Quran di Malaysia. Instrumen soal selidik digunakan dalam kajian ini telah dibina sendiri oleh penyelidik dan disahkan kandungannya oleh panel rujukan pakar. Tahap nilai kebolehpercayaan Alpha Cronbach bagi semua bahagian dalam soal selidik adalah tinggi (>0.9). Data kajian dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan min, sisihan piawai dan peratus. Manakala untuk mendapatkan perbezaan dan hubungan, data dianalisis secara inferensi menggunakan ujian-t dan korelasi Pearson. Analisis data inferensi mendapati perbezaan yang signifikan antara lantina\u27(t=-2.34, sig=0.02) dan lokasi institusi tahfiz\u27 (t=3.91, sig=0.00) dengan teknik pembelajaran tahfiz pelajar. Dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan (r=0.409, sig=0.00) antara teknik pembelajaran tahfiz dengan pencapaian hafazan pelajar. Kajian telah merumuskan elemen-elemen teknik pembelajaran tahfiz perlu diberi perhatian khusus oleh semua pihak dalam merangka kurikulum pengajaran dan pembelajaran tahfiz agar kecemerlangan kualiti hafazan pelajar tercapai.     Role of employers in empowering lecturers in Tahfiz institutions of Malaysia

    This study aimed to reveal the lecturers and employers perceptions on the role of employers in empowering lecturers through the provision of spiritual faith incentives, material incentives (scheme of service) and maknawi (abstract) incentives (working environment). This study involves 177 lecturers as samples and six employers of Darul Quran and MTQN. In order to achieve the objectives, a set of questionnaire which contains 51 items is used as instrument to measure the perception of lecturers on the role of employers. Meanwhile semi-structured interview that contains three questions is used to obtain opinions on the role played by employers. The questionnaire were analyzed descriptively and the overall results shows employers role in empowering lecturers are at a high level with mean value at 3.58. The interview result shows that there is a difference of views between lecturers and employers on material incentives (scheme of service). This study implied that scheme of service incentive should be upgrade to make it more equitable and inclusive, while maintaining spiritual faith incentives and maknawi incentives (working environment) are to continuously empowering lecturers

    Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti hubungan antara tahap kemahiran al-Quran guru Kelas Khas Kemahiran Membaca dan Menghafaz al-Quran (KKQ) dan pencapaian pelajar dalam pelajaran tajwid al-Quran di Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. Seramai 134 orang pelajar KKQ terlibat dalam kajian ini. Kajian kuantitatif ini menggunakan reka bentuk kajian tinjauan dan data kajian diperoleh dengan menggunakan sebuah instrumen soal selidik. Kesahan data dilakukan dengan menubuhkan panel rujukan pakar. Data dianalisis secara inferensi untuk mendapatkan nilai korelasi pearson bagi pemboleh ubah yang dikaji. Melalui kajian rintis yang dijalankan, didapati kebolehpercayaan alat kajian berdasarkan alfa Cronbach berada pada tahap tinggi iaitu >0.80. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan, terdapat hubungan signifikan pada tahap yang rendah antara tahap kemahiran al-Quran guru dengan pencapaian tajwid al-Quran pelajar. Justeru, kemahiran ini perlu dikuasai dan ditingkatkan oleh guru KKQ kerana ia merupakan salah satu daripada faktor penentu kepada keberkesanan pengajaran tajwid al-Quran

    Kajian ini adalah bertujuan untuk meninjau Qudwah di sekolah serta hubung kait dengan penghayatan akhlak pelajar SMKA ketika di luar sekolah dan asrama. Kajian ini berbentuk tinjauan untuk mencari maklumat tentang strategi Qudwah yang digunakan di SMKA. Hasil kajian menunjukkan secara keseluruhan strategi Qudwah pada tahap tinggi dan penghayatan akhlak pelajar di luar sekolah dan asrama pada tahap tinggi. Manakala analisis korelasi yang dijalankan menunjukkan wujudnya hubungan yang signifikan antara strategi Qudwah dengan penghayatan akhlak pelajar SMKA di luar sekolah dan asrama. Analisis regresi juga membuktikan strategi Qudwah memberikan sumbangan sebanyak 18.1% terhadap penghayatan akhlak pelajar di luar sekolah dan asrama. Dapatan ini menunjukkan strategi Qudwah memberi kesan yang positif terhadap pembentukan akhlak pelajar dan dibudayakan di Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia, Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri dan sekolah

    Pedagogical Content Knowledge among the Teachers of Special Classes of Reading and Memorizing the Qur’an (KKQ) in Kuala Lumpur

    This study aims to examine the level of pedagogical content knowledge among the teachers of Special Classes of Reading and Memorizing the Qur’an (KKQ) in teaching the Quranic Tajweed in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. The implementation of this study involves two groups of respondents, i. e. the group of teachers and the students of KKQ. Data from both groups of respondents were collected using two sets of questionnaires developed by the researchers. Content validity of the questionnaires was conducted by setting up an expert reference panel. Cronbach’s alpha reliability values for all parts of the questionnaire were high (> 0. 9). Quantitative data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential using IBM SPSS V20 to obtain the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, differences and correlations. Overall, KKQ teachers found to have high level of pedagogical content knowledge in the Quranic Tajweed lessons. The difference analysis showed that significant difference exist on the level of pedagogical content knowledge of KKQ teachers in demographic aspect based on their university background and teaching experience. Meanwhile, correlation analysis found that there was a significant relationship between teachers ’ pedagogical content knowledge and the student achievement in the Quranic Tajweed lessons of KKQ. The positive findings on the level of knowledge of the contents should be maintained or increased from time to time, as well as identified differences factors should be handled systematically, whereas those aspects that are found to have a relationship with the educational achievements of recitation of the Qur'an must be improved

    Correlation between Strategy of Tahfiz Learning Styles and Students Performance in Al-Qur’an Memorization (Hifz)

    The aim of this study is to review strategies of tahfiz learning styles in Tahfiz Institutions in Malaysia. The study involved a total of 212 students who studied in Diploma of Tahfiz Darul Qur’an, JAKIM. The questionnaire instruments were developed by researcher and its content has been validated by panel of experts. Cronbach’s alpha reliability level of value for all parts of the questionnaire was high (> 0. 9). Research data was analyzed descriptively and inferential by using the mean, standard deviation, percentage, T-test and Pearson correlation. The findings show that the strategies of tahfiz al-Qur’an learning styles were at moderately high level. Inferential data analysis found significant differences between ‘gender ’ and ‘location of tahfiz institutions ’ and strategies of students learning styles. The findings also show strong significant relationship between strategies of tahfiz learning styles and students performance in memorization (hafazan). Research implications conclude that elements of strategy in tahfiz learning styles should be given special attention by all parties when drafting a curriculum for tahfiz teaching and learning so that the excellence in quality of the students can be achieved

    The death penalty for people who left from Islam is contrary to religious freedom. Human rights, which is the dominant discourse today, calls for a re-reading of the death penalty. The implication, there are many scholars who re-think the punishment of apostasy. Among them are Mustafa Akyol and Hashim Kamali who goes into this line. If the first name lives in the middle of a society where Muslims are a minority (America), then it is different from the last name. Hashim Kamali disseminated his ideas in Malaysia, one of the countries adhering to classical Islamic traditions. The fundamental question in this study is how the sanctions of apostasy are discussed again by the two thinkers. This type of research is qualitative with future data on a library study (library research). These research data are derived from the representative works of Mustafa Akyol and Hashim Kamali on the subject of apostasy. Furthermore, the findings of their thinking are studied through the framework of negotiative hermeneutic theory. This theory was initiated by Khaled Abou El Fadl who pointed to the negotiations between the three entities, the author, the text and the reader. There are three key variables in discussing the thinking of Mustafa Akyol and Hashim Kamali. From texts and authority, the discourse of authoritarianism to the anatomy of the discourses of authority. Based on that, the approach taken here is socio-legal. The first conclusion both Mustafa Akyol and Hashim Kamali have rejected the death penalty for apostasy. Second conclusion is using three variables when being analyzed by negotiative hermeneutic. In text and authority is able to be seen how a text is formed and its relationship with the social reality that surrounds it. The differences between the public who became the audience of them necessitate the differences in steps in the re-reading of this topic. On the discourse of authoritarianism can be reviewed the formation of non-authoritarian law by placing it as an entity that is constantly changing. Besides meeting the five prerequisites set by the hermeneutics of negotiations. In the anatomy of authoritarian discourse, there are three things that are discussed: consistency, a selective attitude to signs to the balance of interests and rationality. These two thinkers consistently use their respective steps in this topic. While Mustafa Akyol is selective to the sign, unlike Hashim Kamali. Despite this, they met at the same point with the conclusion that there is no death penalty for apostate perpetrators. This discussion is based on the success of both merging the importance of preserving religion and protecting human rights
