Function of Mass Communication in the Social Development of Afghanistan

In terms of social development a prosperous society is mainly based on mass media which are defined as powerful tools for mass communication. Mass media contribute to various aspects of social developments in a society ranging from education, health, sports, agriculture, livelihood, freedom of speech, human rights, fight against corruption, and to public awareness. Mass media play a vital role in creating and shaping of public opinion and strengthening of the society. This study aims to review the key functions of mass media and its role in the social development of Afghanistan. Reviewed the literatures and Google Scholar was used to find out the recent studies. This study shows that Mass media itself emerged strongly and has played a vital role in the social development of Afghanistan especially public awareness, freedom of speech, sports, education, agriculture, and reconstruction

This research is a library research, sourced from the novel Cinta di Atas Awan with the problems of the main character who experienced deterioration due to the unrequited love and ended up failing due to the existence of a third party. The deterioration of love makes the main character aware and re-open the heart to others, and ends beautifully with the anchoring of that love to his hardest friend. The author uses a theoretical psychology theory foundation that aims to analyze the personality structure of the main character in the struggle for his true love. The author uses structural theory to obtain data that is intended in the form of intrinsic elements as builders of the story which includes themes, characters and characterizations, plot, background as forming elements of literary works in the novel Cinta di Atas Awan.
The purpose of this study was to reveal the links between structural elements and examine the main character using the psychology theory of personality. The method used is the study of data collection, data analysis studies, and study of the presentation of the results of the analysis. This research produces three elements of psychology, namely id (das es), Karina Id, that is, she cries because the batis is hurt. Karina's ego (das ich) is her desire to remain Jimmy's lover. Super ego (das uber ich) Karina is that she thinks that what she is doing is wrong, that is, expecting something in vain. Karina realized that Alvin had been faithful and loved her. Emotional classification also appears in the study, namely sadness and love and reveals the romance of love.

The agenda to improve water access is not only considering the quantity of water but also the quality of water that should be provided for the society. The problem of the water crisis is happening in many countries around the world and needs a feasible solution. One of the regions that suffer most of the clean water crisis is the Middle-East and North-Africa. Furthermore, most of the water crisis problems are happening in the countries that are having a conflict, for example, Palestine, Iraq, and Syria. In this thesis, the case of clean water crisis will be focused on the West Bank, Palestine. The clean water crisis covers several problems that are not only focusing on technical problems but also on the governance and business opportunity problems in situations where conflicts taking place. in the Pekanbaru city area. Carrying out a legal review of something new needs to
be done, so that it is appropriate in determining the positive legal rules that will be
used.
Identification of the problem in this study, namely what are the forms of
transactions carried out in the practice of buying and selling online game accounts
of Player unknown's battlegrounds (PUBG) mobile in the Pekanbaru city area and
what are the obstacle factors in buying and selling online game accounts of Player
unknown's battlegrounds (PUBG).
Based on the type of research conducted by the author using the empirical
sociological research, the author goes directly to the field to collect data by means
of interviews. The nature of the research carried out by the author is descriptive,
the research is what it is according to reality which then the author can present
clearly, in detail and systematically about buying and selling online game
accounts for uknown's battlegrounds (PUBG) players in the city of Pekanbaru.
Based on the results of the research discussion that buying and selling
online game accounts for players uknown's battlegrounds (PUBG) there is a
violation of positive legal rules, namely in the book of civil law laws in book III
in article 1243 regarding Defaults, criminal law books, namely in article 378
regarding fraud and supporting rules of article 28 paragraph (1) of Law no. 19 of
2016 Amendment to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and
Electronic Transactions and the obstacle that occurs is that it has not been
effective in buying and selling online game accounts for uknown's battlegrounds
(PUBG) players through online media devices
Metabolic syndrome in renal transplant recipients in Duhok Kidney Diseases Center
No full textAbstractIntroductionRenal transplant subjects are considered at risk for the development of obesity and changes in lipid and glucose metabolism because of the use of immunosuppressive medications.This study was aimed at assessing the prevalence of metabolic syndrome in renal transplant recipients and to identify factors associated with its occurrence.Materials and methodsA cross-sectional study was conducted recruiting renal transplant patients. The metabolic syndrome (MS) was diagnosed according to the criteria of the 2004 revision of ATP III criteria.ResultsMS was found in 43/132 (32.5%) of participants. Also, it was found in 18/70 (25.7%) of males, which was significantly lesser than that found in female 25/62 (40.3%) (p<0.05). hypertension is the commonest criteria of MS as it was found in 31/43 (72%) of the recruited sample.ConclusionsMS is common in the recruited sample here in Iraq. Preventive measures should be taken to prevent such an issue and its related complications

The result of this research comes in mass media communication form and inter personal communication. However, Solopos as a innovator uses more mass media channels because Solopos is a market leader in solo, and many kind of media in Solopos makes Solopos can reach much more society. Get PDFBackground: Per definition, sepsis is a life-threatening condition caused by abnormality or dysfunctionality of host-response to an infection, mostly with bacteria etiology. One of the most used biomarkers for organ dysfunction is serum lactate level, in which the higher the value is, may translate into higher risk for such dysfunction. The role of fluid therapy in sepsis condition during one hour bundle phase is unquestionably essential, ruling to resuscitate an individual within 20-30 cc/kgbw though the most optimal dose is yet to be determined.
Objective: To analyze the influence in pre-loading dose of 20 cc/kgbw and 3 cc/kgbw after one hour bundle phase to the lactate level among individual with sepsis in Haji Adam Malik General Hospital.
Method: This study use randomized clinical trial model with double blinding method. After receiving approval from ethical committee of Universitas Sumatera Utara, the author included 36 individuals with sepsis, in which further classified into 2 different groups i.e., group 1 (20 cc/kgbw) vs. group 2 (30 cc/kgbw). The results were processed by using SPSS software.
Results: There is not any difference in lactate level 6 hours after fluid administration (p=0,002). Nevertheless, there is a significant difference (P<0,05) in lactate clearance rate as observed in group 1 (32,55 ± 30,69 mmol/L) vs. group 2 (-15,62 ± 50,62 mmol/L).
Conclusion: The fluid administration dose of 20 cc/kgbw is more recommended to achieve higher and more optimalized lactate clearance rate in this study.115 HalamanTesis Magiste
