However, these practices do not put an end to parasites completely, which is uneconomical and unaccepted by consumers. The intricacy of diagnosis, complicated human cultural behaviors, and incomprehension of potential economic costs have made this field scientifically dubious and unappealing to researchers. There is room for researchers to develop specific molecular or immunological methods to aid diagnosis. Morphological identification needs to be made by molecular approaches like molecular markers, genetic markers, phylogenetic analysis to solve the long due misunderstandings of the host associations and host ranges for several species of fish helminths, wrong taxonomy, and distribution.

These symbols are in contradiction to our evolving dialogue with democracy that are subject to laws of 'proper' use and extreme security. The National Mall as a symbol of democratic values, has been reduced to a synthetic image of stability built upon a preserved image that masks the underlying issues of a compromised territory of, unstable boundaries governed by ad-hoc laws, and privatized overtones that distort the otherwise democratic message embodied by these symbols of governance. Throughout American cities these same conditions are stifling otherwise democratic public spaces. This thesis articulates the representation of the last democratic space in America, post 9-11, as a critique based proposal that challenges our current and future negotiations with power in the built environment. Recognizing the challenge of a formal intervention upon a contradictory site, the National Mall will serve as the stage for testing a democratic space that communicates the asymmetrical relationships of public's dialogue with governance in 'public' spaces. While the Mall cannot be upheld as an egalitarian field, objects however can substantiate or infuse a democratic field within. This thesis justifies a form necessary to represent such a space, investigating compromised symbols that can be appropriated and redefined to provide functions and representation of conditions the National Mall distorts. The proposal infuses within the program responses to all major impositions of public spaces as a method of exposing the unstable conditions of democratic values residing on comprised fields. The purpose is not to render an ideal democratic space, but an independently operating machinelike space that highlights the context's incongruous relationships.by Amna Ansari.S.M
Mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural fields through bioresource management
Efficient bioresource management can alter soil biochemistry and soil physical properties, leading to reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from agricultural fields. The objective of this study was to evaluate the role of organic amendments including biodigestate (BD), biochar (BC), and their combinations with inorganic fertilizer (IF) in increasing carbon sequestration potential and mitigation of GHG emissions from potato (Solanum tuberosum) fields. Six soil amendments including BD, BC, IF, and their combinations BDIF and BCIF, and control (C) were replicated four times under a completely randomized block design during the 2021 growing season of potatoes in Prince Edward Island, Canada. An LI-COR gas analyzer was used to monitor emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O) from treatment plots. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) results depicted higher soil moisture-holding capacities in plots at relatively lower elevations and comparatively lesser volumetric moisture content in plots at higher elevations. Soil moisture was also impacted by soil temperature and rainfall events. There was a significant effect of events of data collection, i.e., the length of the growing season (p-value ≤ 0.05) on soil surface temperature, leading to increased GHG emissions during the summer months. ANOVA results also revealed that BD, BC, and BCIF significantly (p-value ≤ 0.05) sequestered more soil organic carbon than other treatments. The six experimental treatments and twelve data collection events had significant effects (p-value ≤ 0.05) on the emission of CO2. However, the BD plots had the least emissions of CO2 followed by BC plots, and the emissions increased with an increase in atmospheric/soil temperature. Results concluded that organic fertilizers and their combinations with inorganic fertilizers help to reduce the emissions from the agricultural soils and enhance environmental sustainability.Atlantic Canada Opportunities AgencyDepartment of Environment, Energy and Climate Action, Government of Prince Edward Islan
THE DIASPORIC LIFE OF PAKISTANI-AMERICAN GIRL IN DUR E AZIZ AMNA’S AMERICAN FEVER
American Fever is a novel that tells the story of a high school girl from Pakistan named Hira who joins a student exchange program for 1 year in America. As a diaspora subject, Hira's arrival to America raises issues related to identity. Hira is seen as a stranger and she also has difficulty to adapt in a new environment with the different culture from Pakistan. Therefore, Bhabha's theory of postcolonialism is applied in this study. This thesis aims to reveal the cultural strategy undertaken by Hira to survive in America by connecting with contextual conditions and to find out the author's views on diaspora issues through the novels she wrote. This thesis is a critical-qualitative study. Primary data are from novels and secondary data are from the internet, books and articles. The results of the analysis of this novel show that as a diaspora subject, Hira experiences a phase of 'unhomeliness' caused by her first arrival to America. Then, to overcome this condition, Hira applies a cultural adjustment known as mimicry. The result of mimicry is that Hira has hybrid identity, as a Pakistani and an American. Amna, as the author of this novel conveyed her idea regarding the issue of diaspora that he experienced in 2008 that diaspora subjects will experience 3 phases namely 'unhomeliness', mimicry, and hybridity when they come to the host country. In conclusion, Bhabha's postcolonial theory is related to the events in American Fever which are the depiction of the author's personal experience as a diaspora subject in the past
Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan penulis adalah Framework for The Application of Systems Thinking (FAST).
Evaluating students' study habits using Bayesian Multinomial Logistic Regression
The Bayesian approach is a very important approach for tackling problems in statistics. It involves choosing a distribution that reflects the prior knowledge and thus takes all knowledge into account in contrast to the frequentist approach. It also assumes that the parameters (the regression coefficients) follow a distribution called the posterior distribution instead of fixed constants. When a specific choice of this prior is made, this needs to be justified as the prior directly influences the posterior distribution of the regression coefficients. It is also possible to consider priors that do not carry a lot of information and such priors will be compared in this project. In this thesis, the Bayesian approach will be used to apply a multinomial logistic regression model to data concerning students’ study habits and beliefs. The data is provided by a research group called PRIME and they focus on mathematics education at the TU Delft. Multinomial logistic regression is used to find predictions of the choices expressed in probabilities. Bayesian statistics is not only useful in a sense that it offers the possibility to specify the prior knowledge, but also because the Bayesian way of thinking can be incorporated in evaluating results. This can be done by constructing credible intervals for the predicted probabilities. Overlap between intervals can then give insight on prediction quality. In this project, the models are coded in R and here two packages are used: the UPG and the BRMS package. The priors that are compared are the Gaussian and Cauchy distributions. Other than that there are also default priors used in the packages, which can be compared to the Gaussian and Cauchy priors. In the end, a conclusion can be drawn about the performance of each model based on the prediction accuracy. It can be concluded that the BRMS package outperforms the UPG package in terms of accuracy both using default priors and overall using default priors gives more accurate results than specifying the prior. However, the difference in the accuracy of the model using the BRMS package is not significantly higher than the accuracy obtained from the UPG model and the running time is a lot higher for the BRMS package. From the models with a specified prior, the model with the Cauchy distribution as prior performed better.PRIME: PRogramme of Innovation in Mathematics EducationApplied Mathematic
Smart Power Management with Small Cells: A Path to Sustainable Data Connectivity
The rising demand for energy-efficient networks capable of supporting high-speed data traffic poses a critical challenge for network operators. This study addresses this issue by proposing a power control strategy that dynamically adjusts small cell transmit power based on traffic patterns. Power usage is reduced to 40% of the total capacity during normal traffic, while 60% is utilized during high traffic intensity. This traffic-driven power allocation approach achieves a 13-15% improvement in energy efficiency compared to conventional small cell-controlled sleep modes. By optimizing energy consumption without compromising network performance, this research provides a practical solution for balancing efficiency and user satisfaction in modern mobile networks
