Optimalisasi Hukum Terhadap Lessee Yang Melakukan Wanprestasi Dalam Perjanjian Leasing
Full text linkThis study aims to determine the settlement of default in the leasing agreement where there are steps that must be taken by the lessor, namely giving a summons warning, providing credit policy, to seizing the object of collateral with the help of debt collectors. The ratification of the Supreme Court's Decision Number 18/PUU-XVII/2019 changes the confiscation of the object of collateral which was originally carried out directly, now requires a court process and decision in its execution. This research is a normative juridical law research that is descriptive analytical using a doctrinal legal approach, data collection techniques with data documentation studies and interviews of leasing staff, qualitatively analyzed which discusses law enforcement against Lessees who default and optimizes Lessees who default. The results of the study indicate that the procedures that must be taken by the Lessor first in the process of resolving the Lessee's actions in default are giving a subpoena warning, providing credit policy, to seizing the object of collateral with the help of a third party or debt collector. International Response to Urge United States’ Carbon Reduction Commitment on Willow Project
Full text linkA large oil drilling project located in Alaska, United States, called Willow aims to explore significant oil reserves. Although the project is intended to increase fossil fuel production in the region, its impacts have raised concerns worldwide because of its potential to produce significant carbon emissions. These emissions could exacerbate climate change worldwide and threaten local Alaskan ecosystems, including flora and fauna that are vulnerable to noise and air pollution. These effects could also disrupt nearby communities that rely heavily on a clean and healthy environment. The Willow Project’s compliance with international environmental law—specifically the Paris Agreement—is evaluated through case study and normative juridical methods. One of the responsibilities of signatory countries to this agreement is to reduce carbon emissions that will limit global warming. The findings show that the Willow Project is in conflict with this commitment and shows that the United States is not on board with its efforts to combat climate change. In addition, the study examines how the Willow Project impacts human rights, particularly the right to a clean environment. Many issues relate to transparency and accountability because the public is not sufficiently involved in the decision-making process of the project. The results of this study confirm that stricter international regulations must be implemented and greater oversight is needed for high-risk energy projects. Therefore, the international community must push for decisive action to ensure environmental sustainability and human rights protection in the future

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Pemanfaatan Lahan Sempit dengan Penanaman Hidroponik untuk Peningkatan Jumlah Ruang Terbuka Hijau di Jagakarsa
Full text linkOne of the major problems of urban people has been a need for more knowledge about utilizing narrow spaces around houses to increase green open spaces (Ruang Terbuka Hijau or RTH). People must be able to utilize limited land to the best of their abilities in order to benefit the community themselves. This community service activity aims to educate the community about optimizing limited and narrow land to increase the number of green open spaces using hydroponic methods in the Ciganjur area, Jagakarsa. The implementation method of this activity consists of three stages: preparation, execution, and implementation. The results showed, which involved 20 participants from the group of women involved in PKK and the community in general in Ciganjur, Jagakarsa, provide education and skills to the community regarding the utilization of narrow land with hydroponic methods to increase the number of green open spaces and improving the environment quality as well. Participants in the activity also acquire skills in applying hydroponic planting methods for using limited spaces

Full text linkOne of the stages in a general election is the campaign. During the campaign stage, there is an institution that has the authority to supervise it, namely Bawaslu RI. However, in its implementation, Bawaslu RI experienced several challenges, especially in facing the simultaneous elections in 2024, such as a lack of human resources, financing and facilities for supervision. The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The results of the research show that Bawaslu RI is affected by the implications of 2024 simultaneous elections, such as shortages of human resource and technical needs in the field with a solution by changing the Article 92 paragraph (2) of Law No.7/ 2017 to change the number of Bawaslu RI members from each existing level. Then, the strategy of Bawaslu RI in supporting its supervisory authority during simultaneous elections is to collaborate with various institutions such as the implementation of Gakkumdu, as well as entering into an MoU with Kominfo, KPU, and all social media in Indonesia
PELATIHAN DAN PENDAMPINGAN PENDAFTARAN BADAN HUKUM YAYASAN DALAM MEWUJUDKAN KOMUNITAS PEMUDA YANG TANGGUH
Full text linkAbstrak: Pemuda di Kota Depok, Indonesia, menjadi harapan bangsa dan negara dalam mencapai kemajuan di masa depan. Meskipun beberapa pemuda terlibat dalam kenakalan, banyak juga yang berdedikasi pada kegiatan positif untuk kemajuan sosial. Dalam konteks ini, komunitas pemuda yang bernama Komunitas Berbagi Berkah yang telah aktif dalam upaya membantu sesama. Komunitas Berbagi Berkah didirikan oleh tiga lulusan Pondok Pesantren Tapak Sunan yang terinspirasi oleh pesan penting tentang tolong-menolong dan berbagi. Komunitas ini saat ini masih berstatus komunitas, dan untuk meningkatkan dampak positif mereka, ada kebutuhan untuk membentuk badan hukum seperti Yayasan atau Perkumpulan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengedukasi dan memberi pendampingan terhadap Komunitas Berbagi Berkah terkait pendaftaran badan hukum untuk mendapatkan legalitas komunitas. Peserta dari kegiatan ini adalah Komunitas Berbagi Berkah yang terdiri dari pengurus dan anggota yang bejumlah 15 orang. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan adalah Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) yaitu metode yang mengutamakan partisipasi masyarakat dalam setiap tahap penelitian dan pengabdian, dalam hal ini mitra terlibat sebagai peserta kegiatan dan objek untuk pendampingan pendaftaran badan hukum. Pada akhir kegiatan dilakukan evaluasi terkait penilaian pemahaman mitra terkait pelatihan yang telah diberikan. Bentuk penilaian dengan metode kuisioner dengan menggunakan Google Form. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa 90% peserta dapat memahami pelatihan yang dilakukan oleh tim dan memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta mengenai Pemanfaatan Media Sosial dan Pendaftaran Badan Hukum termasuk dalam hal ini melakukan pendirian Yayasan bagi komunitas Berbagi Berkah yang dalam hal ini menjadi Yayasan Donasi dan Berbagi Berkah. Dalam hal Pemanfaatan Media Sosial dan Pendaftaran Badan Hukum, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua aspek ini memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam memajukan perkumpulan dan mengoptimalkan dampaknya dalam masyarakat.Abstract: The youth in Depok City, Indonesia, are considered the hope of the nation and the state in achieving progress in the future. Although some youth may be involved in delinquency, many are dedicated to positive activities for social advancement. In this context, there is a youth community called "Komunitas Berbagi Berkah" that has been actively involved in efforts to help others. "Komunitas Berbagi Berkah" was founded by three graduates of the Tapak Sunan Islamic boarding school who were inspired by the important message of mutual assistance and sharing. Currently, this community still operates informally, and to enhance its positive impact, there is a need to establish a legal entity such as a foundation or association. The goal of this activity is to educate and provide guidance to "Komunitas Berbagi Berkah" regarding the registration of a legal entity to obtain community legality. The participants in this activity are the members of "Komunitas Berbagi Berkah," consisting of 15 leaders and members. The implementation method employed is Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR), which prioritizes community participation in every stage of research and community service. In this case, the partners are involved both as participants in the activity and as subjects for legal entity registration assistance. At the end of the activity, an evaluation is conducted regarding the partners' understanding of the training provided. The assessment takes the form of a questionnaire using Google Form. The results of this activity show that 90% of the participants comprehend the training conducted by the team and provide an understanding of the utilization of social media and legal entity registration, including the establishment of a foundation for the "Komunitas Berbagi Berkah," which, in this case, becomes the "Yayasan Donasi dan Berbagi Berkah" (Donation and Sharing Blessings Foundation). In terms of utilizing social media and legal entity registration, it can be concluded that both aspects play a crucial role in advancing associations and optimizing their impact on society
