    No full text
For twelve years the autobiographical character Marzi has been growing up through short comics stories in the Spirou magazine, created in Belgium and France by a French artist, Sylvain Savoia and a Polish writer, Marzena Sowa. Realized through collaboration, such an autobiography opens up a grey area for questions concerning authorship. It shatters the notion that autobiography in comics has to be the individual work of a 'complete' author. This article considers the reception of Marzi's authorship through internal and external perspectives, starting with the publication context of the weekly Spirou and ending with close readings of the autobiographical work. In rendering complex the autobiographical equation suggested by literary scholar Philippe Lejeune, protagonist=narrator=author, the case of Marzi shows that fictive agents such as the 'méga-narrateur' and the author are, above all, activated during the reading of the work

John M. Coetzee’s novel “Slow Man” depicts a care relationship between Paul Rayment, an accident victim with a disability, and his home helper Marijana. Transformed into a field investigation, this novel allows us to study the link between care and literature. It also features domestic workers (nannies, care assistants, home helpers), revolutionising the symbolic order and overturning their invisible status. Drawing on feminist literary criticism, and based on the character of the care worker, the author considers the deconstruction of the notion of heroism, by proposing instead the notion of “heroinism”. This study aims to convince readers of the importance of integrating contemporary care issues into literary studies and of the usefulness of critically questioning the distinction often made between “fiction” and “reality”. Laura Marzi has a PhD in gender studies and comparative literature and is a literary critic, writer and translator. Active in the Italian feminist scene and in the press, she has published several scientific articles and translations

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to map the intellectual structure of conflict management studies by investigating the key themes, concepts and their relationships for the period 2007-2017. The study updates the previous decade (1997-2006) investigation by Ma et al. (2008) to reflect the increased publication efforts in the field. Design/methodology/approach: Bibliometric analysis was used to trace the development path of the extant literature. The study included activity indicators such as distribution of articles and most-cited journals; relationship indicators such as co-author analysis and keyword analysis; and the mapping of the theoretical foundations. Findings: The analysis identified five key themes that help track the direction of conflict management research: negotiation, mediation, trust, conflict management styles and performance. Originality/value: These themes show a wider diversification of topics in the field than in the past, corroborating previous results about the reputation and maturity of conflict management as an independent scientific field of research. This study will help scholars to improve their understanding of the evolution of conflict management studies and the direction that conflict management research is taking, in particular, identifying available avenues for future research
