Azahari Batik Enterprise / Wan Ahmad Rifqi Wan Mohd Nuri
The case study is really important to evaluate of the company background. In order to fullfill Fundamental of Entrepreneurship (ENT300) course describtion. I need to carry out a individual case study. During the case study I need to collect all information about the any company to complete this case study.
Based on case study I need to find a company which their sales not exceed Rm 250 000 for a year. So, I decided to choose Azahari Batik enterprise which is located at No 43 Tingkat 2 Tangga 3 Pasar Besar Siti Khadijah, 1500, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. So, I decided to get contact with Azahari Batik Manager to have an online interview with Whatsapp with the Manager who is Noor A’ini Binti Mokhtar. By interviewing her i can know about the entrepeneur and company’s background, and entrepreneur characteristics. Next, based on the findings during the interview, the Azahari Batik was established about 30 years old. The founder who is Azahari Bin Yusoff live in Kota Bharu was graduated from STPM and then he worked as the Batik Painter for his friend’s factory. A few years later, he started to open the business by rent a shop in Pasar Siti Khadijah to sell the Batik Cloth like ‘Batik Conteng’, ‘Batik Blok’, and ‘Batik skrin’. Azahari Batik Enterprise focuses their sales towards Kelantanese women, because the mainly Women wear Batik cloth during the certain event like Traditional event and formal Event. Some of his Personal Entrepreneurial competencies (PEC) are initiative and concern for high quality of work
Sistem sokongan pensyarah FSKTM Universiti Malaya / Azahari Omar
"Sistem Sokongan Pensyarah" (SISOP) is a final project that is carried out after - its Importance was admitted by supervisor, Pn . Salimah Mokhtar . This system is important in keeping all activity including an activity among lecturer inside or outside of university. Activities that is carried out by lecturer such as publications, conferences, research which is like its involvement in the teaching field, consultancies and etc. All of these information are very important but there is no an alternative to develop this system before. As its objective, when this system is ready to use, it just not only keep the information that relates with the lecturer itself. but it also can easily achieve by the user. Prototype model has been used for this approach because it is matching with this system. From this model, all step of task that is implemented can be altered to return according to user latest necessity From characters of system, hope this system can settle problem related to the lecturer as a system user and the involvement of lecturer in every matter can be exposed to the entire University of Malaya member and also its general off-campus to raise the excellency of University of Malaya
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Formulation and evaluation of palm oil as micro and nanoemulsion / Khubaib Azahari
Prized for its broad industrial application, Malaysian palm oil dominates the world market for palm oil and its derivatives. Palm oil unique composition means it is versatile in its application in cosmetical and pharmaceutical industry. Palm oil is natural occurring oil containing some of the antioxidant vitamin E constituents, tocopherols and tocotrienols. These natural antioxidants can act as scavengers of oxygen free radicals and are hypothesized to play a protective role in cellular aging. Nanoemulsions using palm oil as dispersed phase could enhance the pharmacological activity of the oil, through external application. In this study, nanoemulsion with single oil containing 15% of palm oil as disperse phase were prepared using lecithin (I - 1.5%), Carbopol®934 (0.4%), Tween®80 (1 - 3%), Euxyl®K100 (0.1%) and Euxyl®K400 (0.05%). The emulsification methods used for the formation of nano particles were hand homogeniser and high pressure homogeniser. Both of the methods were carried out in order to obtain nanoemulsions with a small and narrow droplet size. The physical characteristics and stability of the nanoemulsions were studied. Properties such as visual aspect, particle size analysis, viscosity and pH were analysed at pre-determined time intervals (0, 1,7, 14, 21, 28 days). It was followed by an assessment of stability via accelerated stability studies using dispersion analyser. Finally, panel’s acceptance studies were carried out in 20 human volunteers with basis on sensorial tests. In conclusion, nanoemulsions formed by 15% palm oil, 1.5% lecithin, 3% Tweentk80, Carbopol®934 (0.4%), Euxyl®K100 (0.1%) and Euxyl® K400 (0.05%) provided the best formulation in the study. From the sensorial test, the previous formulation showed a good acceptance in terms of colour, texture, oily capability and hydration. However, improvements on the lotion odour should be carried out to improve the panel’s acceptance
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
