INFLUENCING FACTORS ON SAVING BEHAVIOR IN SMALL SHOP OWNERS (Aye Sandar Myo, 2018)
The main objectives of the study are to identify and analyze the influencing factors on saving behaviors of small shop owners. The study is based on the primary data from the survey questionnaires who are in Kyin Myin Daing Township. Savings are important at both micro and macro level. This study focuses only on the influencing factors on the saving behaviors of small shop owners and those data are collected from randomly selected 150 respondents who are in Kyi Myin Daing Township by using descriptive sampling method and Pearson Correlation. According to the findings, the results show that psychological factors influences the most on the saving behaviors among any other two factors: institutional factors and sociological factors. Among psychological factors, the emotionality on wealth that is low relative to one’s reference group and awareness of expectation for success mostly depends on their saving behaviors. Besides, financial knowledge of small shop owners fully effects to save their money. And the institutional factors has the weakest correlation with saving behaviors of small shop owners in Kyi Myin Daing Township. Their income sources and tax on consumption effects to save their money saving
A Mobile Mediation Tool for Enhancing Interaction between Depressed Person and Caregiver
Abstractepression, a common mental health disorder, significantly affects an individual’s ability to live a regular life. Excessive reassurance-seeking behavior, i.e. a common interper¬sonal characteristic of depression, often leads to negative interaction betw¬ee-n caregivers and depressed individuals, who seek excessive assurance from the caregiv-ers at inappropriate times e.g. when caregivers are busy. Such negative interaction results in elevated feeling of burden in care-giving and care-receiving. However, maintaining a good relationship between depressed individuals and caregivers is crucial in overcoming difficulties time during depression. Therefore, this work proposes a mobile care mediation tool that helps improve communication in care-giving and care-receiving between depressed individuals and caregivers. By sharing the mood and availability status of givers and receivers of care, the proposed mobile care mediation tool enhances satisfaction of their relationship, and reduces burdens in care-giving.Contentcknowledgment ibstract iii要 vontent viiist of Figures ixist of Tables xihapter 1 Introduction 1hapter 2 Related Work 7hapter 3 Design Considerations 11.1 Collecting situated mood/availability data 11.2 Engaging 12.3 Easy to operate 12.4 Information glanceability 13.5 Timestamp update 13.6 Sensing 14.7 Suggestion 14hapter 4 Implementation and Evaluation (ESM tool) 17.1 Implementation 18.1.1 Questionnaires design on ESM tool 18.1.2 Logging activity sensing data 19.1.3 Simple version of world visiting game 20.1.4 Paper-based ESM 21.2 Evaluation 21.2.1 User study design 21.2.2 Results 23.2.3 Discussion 27hapter 5 Architecture and Implementation (Mobile care mediation tool) 31.1 Architecture 31.1.1 Mobile database 32.1.2 Input 33.1.3 Decision agent 33.1.4 Output 34.2 UI design and implementation details 34.2.1 CareMe display 36.2.2 Sharing mood and availability 36.2.3 Suggestion notifications 37.2.4 Sharing photos 38hapter 6 Evaluation (Mobile care mediation tool) 41.1 User study design 41.2 Results 44hapter 7 Discussion 49hapter 8 Conclusion and Future Work 53ibliography 5
A STUDY ON KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE AND PRACTICE OF HYGIENIC BEHAVIOR IN KAYIN STATE (Case Study: Thandaungyi Township) (Aye Sandar Tun, 2019)
Safe water, basic toilets and good hygiene are important to child survival and development. A lack of these inputs can affect the lives of many children in Myanmar at risk. The general objective of this study is to assess the level of knowledge, attitude and practice on water, sanitation and hygienic status of the mother groups of under-5 children. This study applies the descriptive method based on primary data collecting from the survey that covered a sample size of 294 households in Leiktho sub- townships in Thandaunggyi (North). It is found that awareness on contamination of water was quite low that none of the respondents could mention dirty hand and did not aware of human waste or animal waste as possible water contamination. It is found that awareness on diarrhea and dysentery that are associated with dirty/unclean water and contaminated food but poor awareness association between poor hygiene and diarrhea. Hand clean and latrines clean were not known as prevention for diarrhea by majority of the respondents although clean food and some extent to clean water were known to them. Moreover, the majority of respondents do not think about diarrhea is a major illness and life threatening disease other than dengue fever and malaria
GSM Based Fire Security System
Telecommunication is a very important part of its life. This technology is used in a very sophisticated area like safety and security purpose. Using the GSM technology, telecommunication is conducive to save its life as well as households from fire accidents which have shown in this paper. In this paper, the overall circuit is constructed with six sections. The first section is power supply. The second section is temperature sensor and smoke sensor. The third section is Arduino. The fourth section is LCD display. The fifth section is fan, buzzer and water pump. The sixth section is GSM module. Temperature sensor is connected to the digital input pin of the Arduino and smoke sensor is connected to the analog input pin of the Arduino. When the temperature sensor detects heat and the smoke detector detects smoke the detectable measurement of smoke can be configured regarding the size and surroundings of the room , there is a LCD display which shows temperature and smoke data. When the temperature reach above 40°C and the smoke sensor had reached over 200ppm, the buzzer is ON, spray automatically water and send SMS. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
