KARAKTERISTIK BURUH WANITA PENYADAP KARET SERTA FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENDAPATAN RUMAH TANGGANYA (Studi Kasus Di PTPN IX Kebun Balong/Beji-Kalitelo Afdeling Ngandong Kabupaten Jepara)
The number of women who participate as labor in the various social life fields was increasing. The role of women in agriculture also contributed for the improvement of the family economy. This study aimed to determine characteristics of the role of women labor rubber tappers in PTPN IX Balong Beji Plantation and the factors that affect women labor rubber tappers household income. The conclusion of the research illustrated the role of women labor rubber tappers in  PTPN IX Balong Beji Plantation run three roles at once: the role of productive, reproductive and social. P, Processing Household Organic Processing Household Organic Waste into Compost at PKK RT 04/04 Kalisegoro Village Gunungpati District Semarang City: -
Permasalahan yang dihadapi sebagian masyarakat di daerah pemukiman perumahan (i) limbah rumah tangga khususnya sampah dapur, belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, (ii) perlu adanya pengetahuan serta praktek mengenai sistem/metode pengolahan limbah rumah tangga utamanya limbah/sampah organik. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah pemanfaatan limbah rumah tangga khususnya dapur di lingkungan RT 04/04 Kalisegoro, diantaranya dengan; (i) sosialisasi/tranfer knowledge mengenai penanganan limbah organik dari rumah tangga, (ii) aplikasi sistem/metode pengolahan limbah organik utamanya dari dapur rumah tangga menjadi kompos melalui kegiatan pelatihan. Target kegiatan ini adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat ibu-ibu PKK RT 04/04 Kalisegoro, melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan pengolahan limbah organik rumah tangga utamanya limbah dapur menjadi kompos. Luaran hasil dari Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dapat mengaplikasikan pengetahuan pengolahan rumah tangga khususnya limbah dapur menjadi kompos.The problems faced by some people in residential areas are (i) household waste, especially kitchen waste, has not been utilized optimally, (ii) there is a need for knowledge and practice regarding household waste processing systems/methods, especially organic waste. The aim of this activity is to utilize household waste, especially kitchen in the RT 04/04 Kalisegoro district environment, including by; (i) socialization/transfer of knowledge regarding handling organic waste from household, (ii) application of systems/methods for processing organic waste, especially from housedhold kitchens into compost, through training activities. Target of this activity is to empower the PKK RT 04/04 Kalisegoro community, through outreach activities and training on processing household organic waste, especially kitchen waste into compost. Output of this community service can apply knowledge of processing household waste, especially kitchen waste into compost.
 
Value Added Analysis of Palm Sugar and Factors that Influence
Kendal Regency as the one regency in the Central Java Province has prospect for development of palm sugar small business. This research aimed to determine the amount of income, added value processing of palm sugar small bussiness, and to analyze the factors that influenced added value of of palm sugar small bussiness in Kendal Regency. This study use a purposive sampling method. The location, beside Temanggung Regency and Klaten Regency, Kendal Regency is one of palm sugar centre in the Central Java Propince. The average total production of palm sugar in Singorojo District is 6,59 kilogram per production period. The processing of palm sugar production give added value at Rp.2.758,- per liter. The average total production of palm sugar in Limbangan District is 8,05 kilogram per production period. The processing of palm sugar production give added value at is Rp.2.890,- per liter. Average net income per month in Kendal Regency is Rp. 2.167.377,-, with average revenue is Rp. 2.893.587,-. Added value of processed palm sugar in Kendal Regency were influenced by several factors including; the amount of labour, the producer’s age, raw material prices, output prices, and production capacity. Keywords: Added value, income, palm suga
POLA KONSUMSI PANGAN DAN PERMINTAAN BERAS OLEH RUMAH TANGGA PENGOLAH GULA MERAH AREN DI KABUPATEN KENDAL
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat ketahanan pangan tingkat rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren di beberapa sentra pengolahan gula merah aren di Kabupaten Kendal. Menggunakan Jonsson and Toole Model, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat Pangsa Pengeluaran Pangan (PPP) rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren yang terendah berada di daerah Kecamatan Sukorejo dan tertinggi di Kecamatan Limbangan. Sementara Angka Kecukupan Energi (PPP) tertinggi juga berada di Kecamatan Sukorejo dan tingkat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren yang paling tahan pangan berada di Kecamatan Sukorejo. Sementara untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan beras oleh rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren di Kabupaten Kendal dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah harga telur dan jumlah anggota keluarga. Kata Kunci : Beras, Harga, Konsumsi, Pangsa Pengeluaran Pangan
ANALISIS EKONOMI USAHATANI SAPI POTONG DI KELURAHAN PLALANGAN GUNUNGPATI KOTA SEMARANG
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis usahatani sapi potong yang meliputi modal, biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan dan Break Even Point (BEP) . Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai bulan Mei sampai dengan Desember 2016 dengan lokasi di Kelurahan Plalangan Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei untuk mengumpulkan data primer dari responden dan data sekunder dari dinas terkait. Responden diambil secara purposive sampling. Analisis ekonomi menggunakan analisis modal atau investasi, biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan dan BEP untuk usahatani penggemukan sapi potong. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa usahatani sapi potong merupakan usaha rumah tangga yang dikelola secara tradisional dengan jumlah modal atau investasi sebesar Rp. 9.946.363,06 per ekor, total biaya Rp. 21.174.324 per periode, dengan penerimaan sebesar Rp. 31.375.000 dan pendapatan Rp. 10.200.676 per periode. Nilai BEP harga jual sapi per ekor sebesar Rp. 11.580.356 hal ini berarti lebih rendah dari harga jual oleh petani yaitu sebesar Rp. 15.895.833, petani masih mendapatkan keuntungan. Sedangkan BEP unit adalah 1,33 hal ini berarti bahwa peternak akan memperoleh keuntungan apabila memelihara lebih dari 1 ekor sapi. Dan rata rata peternak memelihara 2 ekor sapi potong. ANALISIS KOMPARATIF USAHATANI PADI (Oryza sativa L.) SISTEM BUDIDAYA SECARA ORGANIK DAN ANORGANIK DI KECAMATAN MIJEN KOTA SEMARANG
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat biaya produksi, penerimaan dan pendapatan petani padi antara sistem budidaya padi organik dengan sistem budidaya padi anorganik di Kecamatan Mijen Kota Semarang serta mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usatahatani padi tersebut. Metode dasar penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Penentuan daerah sampel ditentukan dengan sengaja (purposive sampling). Pemilihan responden ditentukan secara sengaja (purposive sampling). Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan dan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan alat bantu SPSS 20. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa biaya produksi usahatani padi budidaya organik Rp 3.729.534/MT lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan budidaya anorganik Rp 3.224.507/MT. Penerimaan usahatani padi budidaya organik Rp 9.210.000/MT lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan padi budidaya anorganik Rp 5.871.667/MT. Sedangkan pendapatan usahatani padi budidaya organik Rp 5.865.100/MT lebih tinggi daripada padi budidaya anorganik Rp3.045.002/MT. Faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani padi adalah variabel biaya tenaga kerja, hasil produksi, dan sistem budidaya.

ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERILAKU KONSUMEN TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN BUAH IMPOR DI PASAR JOHAR KOTA SEMARANG (Studi Kasus Buah Apel Fuji dan Jeruk Mandarin)
Indonesian agricultural products can be used as the leading commodity in the global competition, horticultural products especially such as fruits. The objectives of this resarch to know the characteristics of the consumer to purchase and consume the imported fruits, analyze the factors that affecting consumer behavior toward the demand of Fuji Apples and Mandarin Oranges in Johar Market. The sample area of research selected by purposive methods. The sample  respondents of research with accidental sampling. The area of research in Johar Market Semarang City, which provide product of Fuji Apples and Mandarin Oranges. The total sample of respondents were taken as many as 88 respondents, which were consisted of 44 respondents Fuji Apples and 44 respondents Mandarin Oranges. Consumer of Fuji Apples and Mandarin Oranges were aged 31 until 40 years old. The average income of the consumers of the Mandarin Oranges was Rp.2.193.182 and the average income of the consumers of Fuji Apples was Rp.2.531.818. The status of their profession is as a housewife with a high school education level. They have number of family members from 3 - 4 people. The factors that affecting the demand of Fuji Apples are age, income, price.
