Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Kantor Pertanahan merupakan Instansi vertikal Kementerian Agraria dan Tata Ruang/Badan Pertanahan Nasional di kabupaten/kota yang berada di bawah dan bertanggung jawab kepada Menteri Agraria dan Tata Ruang/Kepala Badan Pertanahan Nasional melalui Kepala Kantor Wilayah Badan Pertanahan Nasional.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan Regresi Linear Berganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai Badan Pertanahan Nasional Kota Pasuruan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan sampel 70 responden.
Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan secara simultan pelatihan dan disiplin berdampak positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
ABSTRACT
The Land Office is a vertical agency of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency in districts/cities which is under and responsible to the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency through the Head of the Regional Office of the National Land Agency.
This research uses a quantitative approach with data analysis techniques using Multiple Linear Regression. The population in this study were employees of the Pasuruan City National Land Agency. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a sample of 70 respondents.
The results show that job training has an effect on employee performance, work discipline has an effect on employee performance, and simultaneously training and discipline have a significant positive impact on employee performance.

استخدم هذا البحث المنهج الكمي مع تقنيات تحليل البيانات باستخدام الانحدار الخطي المتعدد. وكان السكان في هذا البحث الموظفين في وكالة الأراضي الوطنية بباسوروان. أما تقنية جمع البيانات بالاستبانة مع عينة من 70 مستجيبًا.
أما نتائج هذا البحث هي أن ورشة العمل لها تأثيرة على أداء الموظفين، والانضباط في العمل له تأثير على أداء الموظفين، وفي نفس الوقت ورشة العمل والانضباط لهما تأثير إيجابي كبير على أداء الموظفين

No full textKeterampilan menjelaskan merupakan hal penting yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang guru. Mata kuliah microteaching menjadi jembatan bagi mahasiswa calon guru sebagai bekal mengajar nantinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Microteaching terhadap Kemampuan Menjelaskan Materi bagi Calon Guru khususnya mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Guru MI UMSIDA. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Tahapan awal dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket pretest dan posttest yang dibagikan kepada 25 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru MI. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif yang dilanjutkan dengan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil pada analisis data deskriptif menyatakan bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pretest. Uji normalitas juga terkategori dengan nilai sebaran normal yang dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi Pretest 0,174 (>0,05) dan Posttest 0,797 (>0,05).

No full textKeterampilan menjelaskan merupakan hal yang penting untuk dimiliki seorang guru. Mata kuliah microteaching menjadi jembatan para mahasiswa calon guru sebagai bekal mengajar nantinya. Penelitian iini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Microteaching terhadap Kemampuan Menjelaskan Materi bagi Calon Guru terutama mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Guru MI UMSIDA. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Tahapan awal yang dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pretes dan postes yang disebarkan kepada 25 Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru MI. Teknik analisis data yang dilalui memakai analisis data deskriptif dilanjutkan dengan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil pada analisis data deskriptif menyatakan bahwa nilai rata-rata postes lebih tinggi daripada dengan pretes.Pada uji normalitas juga dikategorikan dengan nilai distribusi normal dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi Pretes 0,174(>0,05) dan Postes 0,797(>0,05). Pada uji paired sample T-tes atau uji hipotesis memiliki hasil bahwa ada penolakan pada Ho sehingga Ha diterima dengan keterangan bahwa adanya perbedaan nilai antara sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakannya pembelajaran microteaching. Hal ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran microteaching memberikan peningkatan pada keterampilan menjelaskan mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Guru MI
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
