Penciptaan karya seni biasanya terlahir dari berbagai hal seperti fenomena alam dan kegiatan sehari-
hari. Karya seni yang saat ini dituangkan terinspirasi dari fenomena alam yaitu proes terjadinya gerhana.
Gerhana merupakan peristiwa terhalangnya sinar matahari oleh bumi atau bulan sehingga bumi atau bulan tidak
mendapatkan sinar matahari. Biasanya fenomena gerhana terjadi setiap beberapa tahun sekali pada tempat yang
berbeda-beda. Dari peristiwa tersebut maka muncullah ide penata untuk menuangkan kedalam karya karawitan
yang berjudul “Saros Ati”. Kata Saros Ati memiliki dua arti yaitu Saros yang artinya sebuah perhitungan atau
prediksi sedangkan Ati artinya bagian inti. Jadi, Saros Ati merupakan sebuah perhitungan untuk menuju
kebagian inti.
Penata mengangkat ide ini karena gerhana memiliki keunikannya sendiri contohnya dari dua benda
angkasa yang berbeda ukuran serta berbeda tugasnya dapat bertemu pada satu titik yang dapat menghasilkan
sebuah fenomena alam. Instrumen yang ditonjolkan dalam karya ini adalah dua instrumen reong yang jarak
nadanya berbeda dan masing-masing instrumen menggambarkan sebagai dua beda angkasa yang dapat
membentuk fenomena gerhana yaitu matahari dan bulan. Proses kreativitas dalam mewujudkan karya ini
melalui tiga tahapan yang meminjam konsep dari Alma M.Hawkins dalam bukunya “Creating Through Dance”
yaitu exploration (penjajagan), improvisation (percobaan) dan forming (pembentukan). Ketiga tahapan tersebut
dijadikan acuan dalam proses penggarapan karya ini.

Possible solution to the R407C composistion variation owing to leaks
In this paper the problem related to the refrigerant fluid leaks in the vapour compression plants is considered; possible leaks can vary the mixture composition. Referring to the R407C zeotropic mixture it is experimentally observed that the percentage of the less volatile component (R134a) increases, while the percentage of the more volatile components (R32 and R125) decreases. The experimental tests have been realized determining refrigerant leaks from the liquid receiver placed at the condenser outlet and measuring the properties in the steady state condition. The principal aim of this paper is to test experimentally if, imposing proper leaks, the initial conditions in terms of the energetic performances are restored with a proper recharge. This recharge is realized in different ways: with R407C, with R134a and R410A or with R32 R125 and R134a. The different solutions are then compared in terms of COP, refrigeration power and the air temperature at the evaporator outlet by means of an iteration method which allows to determine the real composition of a zeotropic mixture working in a vapour compression plant subjected to a cold store, when only the pressure and temperature values at the expansion valve inlet and outlet are known
Micro Combined Heat And Power System Based On Htpem Fuel Cell And Li-Ion Batteries: Performance Analysis
Micro Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems based on Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) fuel cells are gaining
increasing interest since they allow the production of electricity and heat in a decentralized, quiet, efficient and
environmentally friendly way. However, the use of PEM fuel cell still involves different economical and technical issues to be
overcome before widespread commercialization begins. In the last years, significantly research efforts have been made to the
development of High Temperature PEM (HTPEM) fuel cells which could reduce system complexity and cost.
In this paper, with the aim of reducing fuel cell stack size to enhance cost reduction, the possibility of integrating a batt ery
storage system in a HTPEM based micro CHP system is evaluated. The proposed system encompasses a HTPEM fuel cell
stack, a steam reforming fuel processor and a battery pack. The fuel processor allows the HTPEM fuel cell to be fuelled with
conventional hydrocarbon based fuels while the battery pack allows peak shaving thus reducing fuel cell stack size..
Furthermore the choice of implementing a battery storage system contributes to the development of the smart grid technology
by enabling off-grid and on-grid storage of energy. The overall system should provide total electrical and part of the thermal
power requirements for a typical single family house.
In order to evaluate the influence on system cost, two fuel cell system sizes have been considered and three different
household electric load profiles have been analyzed. System performance, in terms of conversion efficiency, have been

Monitoraggio di un edificio a basso consumo energetico a Trieste
Data la grande importanza che sta assumendo il risparmio energetico in edilizia si è deciso di monitorare per circa un anno e mezzo un edificio a due piani a basso consumo energetico costruito nella periferia di Trieste con esposizione a sud ovest per poter rendersi conto degli effettivi consumi, sia invernali che estivi, e del funzionamento dell’impianto geotermico e aeraulico dell’edificio stesso. Questi dati verranno in una fase successiva dello studio confrontati con quelli ricavati da un analisi dinamica dell’edificio. L’impianto è costituito da una pompa di calore geotermica che alimenta pannelli radianti a pavimento con funzione, sia di riscaldamento invernale, che di raffrescamento estivo. È presente anche un impianto di ricambio d’aria forzato con recuperatore di calore. Sono, inoltre presenti pannelli solari termici e fotovoltaici. Tramite un sistema di acquisizione National sono state acquisite le temperature di mandata e ritorno di tutti i circuiti e le relative portate. Inoltre sono state acquisite le temperature del terreno a contatto con i due pozzi geotermici, le temperature dell’aria di rinnovo e la potenza elettrica consumata dalla pompa di calore.
