    Get PDF
This contribution recovers the "Exhortaciones a las religiosas" composed by the Poor Clare of Gandía Sister Francisca de Jesús Borja y Enríquez (1498-1557). Our aim is to provide some clues for its understanding, in light of the biographical trajectory of the author and also in light of the influence that the reforming proposals of Saint Colette exercised over her. It is a text that can also be understood in terms of the "writing for government" that was part of the political action deployed by prioresses and abbesses for the management of their communities
