UJI AKTIVITAS ENZIM DIASTASE, HIDROKSIMETILFURFURAL (HMF), KADAR GULA PEREDUKSI, DAN KADAR AIR PADA MADU HUTAN BATTANG
Honey is a natural liquid that generally has a sweet taste produced by honey bee (Apis sp.) from plant flowerextract (flora nectar) or other parts of the plant (extra floral) (SNI 01-3545-2013). Bees sucked a variety of flowers andfruit juice, collected in the body, then taken to the nest and formed into honey. Honey can be used to a drug because itcontains antioxidants and antimicrobials. Sweet and bitter honey were mostly produced by Apis dorsata forest beespecies in the forest of Battang which now can not be cultivated properly. Characteristics of physical and chemicalquality of honey vary depending on internal and external factors. Internal factors include the type of interest. Externalfactors are like seasons, soil conditions and geographical location as well as processing and storage. Diastase enzymes,hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), reducing sugars and moisture content, have important parameters for the quality ofhoney. This study aims to determine the quality of honey based on diastase enzyme activity test, HMF test, reducingsugar content and moisture content in two samples of Battang forest honey. The results showed that diastase enzymeactivity 5,06 DN and hydroxymethylfurfural were not detected in honey sweet sample of Battang forest and havefulfilled honey quality requirement based on SNI 01-3545-2013. The result of moisture content analysis 22,96% andreducing sugar level 64, 91% almost reach the standard quality requirement of honey. The bitter honey sample ofBattang forest, only hydroxymethylfurfural (not detected) analysis has fulfilled the quality requirement of honey basedon SNI 01-3545-2013, but diastase enzyme activity <1 DN, moisture content 31,11% , and the reducing sugar content of54,75% don’t qualified based on SNI 01-3545-2013 standard

The evaluation of e-learning readiness as a distance learning media of the first-semester biology students
Universitas Sulawesi Barat (Unsulbar) launched its primary Learning Management System (LMS) named E-learning of Universitas Sulawesi Barat or often called “E-learning Unsulbar” in 2020 (https://elearning.unsulbar.ac.id/). Implementing E-learning at Unsulbar is one of the university’s efforts to maximize distance learning, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. A study was conducted to evaluate E-learning readiness to measure the readiness of new students of the Biology Education Study Program towards the E-learning implementation. It is a quantitative descriptive study using a survey method adapted from a questionnaire developed by Akaslan and Law. The respondents were 77 new students from the biology education class of 2020 in the odd semester of 2020-2021. The measurement adapts three main stages, i.e., readiness (technology, people, institutions, content), acceptance, and training. The result showed that the readiness of new students for E-learning Unsulbar for technology and training factors were 3.1 and 3.3, respectively. It was categorized as not ready, which means that there needed to be more readiness of students’ internet infrastructures and academics who need training in using E-learning Unsulbar. Meanwhile, the scores for the factor of people, institutions, content, and acceptance were 3.8, 4.2, 3.85, and 3.9, respectively, and categorized as ready to be implemented. This result is an evaluation material for the university in determining the right policy for implementing E-learning Unsulbar
The Role Of My Qiraah Application To Improve The Ability To Read The Qur’an Students At Muhammadiyah University Of Yogyakarta
The Al-Qur\u27an is Kalamullah, which requires careful attention to the rules of Tajwid science when reading it to avoid misunderstandings. Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta is one of the Islamic tertiary institutions that requires every student to have a certificate for the Al-Qur\u27an Reading and Writing program as a graduation requirement. The purpose of this research article is to reveal the history and role of My Qiraah application as a support for students\u27 Al-Qur\u27an learning activities at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive analytics with a qualitative approach. This method serves to describe an object under study. It begins with observing the Al-Qur\u27an Reading Guidance activities, followed by collecting data through interviews with primary sources and analyzing the data obtained by strengthening secondary sources. The results of this study indicate that My Qiraah is an application for learning the Qur\u27an, which was adopted from the 10-hour Al-Qur\u27an learning method by Muhammad Chirzin. My Qiraah application was implemented in the 2021-2022 school year, and improvements are still being made to continue supporting Al-Qur\u27an learning activities for students at UMY. The presence of My Qiraah application dramatically helps in the learning process of Al-Qur\u27an Reading Guidance for the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta students. This is evidenced by a 3.3% increase in student BTA graduation in the 2022/2023 school year

PENGENALAN ENZIM AMILASE (ALPHA-AMYLASE) DAN REAKSI ENZIMATISNYA MENGHIDROLISIS AMILOSA PATI MENJADI GLUKOSA
Amilase (Alpha-amylase) adalah enzim yang mengkatalisis hidrolisis dari alpha-1, 4-
glikosidik amilosa pati menghasilkan glukosa. Jumlah glukosa yang dihasilkan selama
reaksi enzimatis diukur dengan menggunakan pereaksi dinitrosalycilic acid (DNS) pada
panjang gelombang 550 nm. Semakin tinggi nilai absorbansi yang dihasilkan, semakin
banyak pula gula pereduksi (glukosa) yang terkandung dalam sampel.Larutan DNS
yang awalnya berwarna kuning akan bereaksi dengan gula reduksi sehingga
menimbulkan warna jingga kemerahan. Kurva standar glukosa nilai persamaan y=
0,0034x + 0,1818, R²=0,9875yang berarti data tersebut termasuk teliti.Berdasarkan data
absorbansi glukosa tereduksi yang dihasilkan dari hidrolisis pati oleh enzim alphaamilaseterlihat bahwa semakin lama waktu kinerja enzim amilase, semakin menurun
nilai absorbansinya yang berarti kadar glukosanya semakin menurun (fluktuatif),
kemungkinan kenaikan suhu menyebabkan terjadinya proses denaturasi, bagian sisi
aktif enzim akan terganggu dan menyebabkan konsentrasi enzim menjadi berkurang
sehingga kecepatan reaksinya pun akan menurun. Pengujian pati sisa; persamaan untuk
kurva standar pati, y= 8.6x+0.021, nilai R2=0,9908, semua larutan sampel berwana
kuning dan nilai absorbansinya sangat rendah (hampir mendekati nol), hal ini berarti
kemungkinan hampir semua pati yang terkandung dalam larutan telah terhidrolisis oleh
enzim alpha amilase menjadi glukosa. Apabila terdapat amilosa pati dalam larutan akan
berpengaruh dalam pembentukan intentitas warna warna biru-hitam, hal ini disebabkan
oleh adanya molekul iodium (Ion-ion triiodida) yang terikat dalam kumparan helix
amilosa pati.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
