Hubungan Mekanisme Koping Dan Disabilitas Dengan Keputusasaan Pada Pasien Stroke di Rumah Sakit Kota Medan
No full textStroke menimbulkan risiko jangka panjang seperti ketidakmampuan fisik dan kognitif yang membutuhkan proses kontrol berupa mekanisme koping. Serangan paska stroke meyebabkan perubahan emosional termasuk keputusasaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan mekanisme koping dan disabilitas dengan keputusasaan pada pasien stroke di rumah sakit kota Medan. Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah pasien stroke berjumlah 100 orang dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel consecutive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner The Brief Cope Inventory, WHO Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0 dan kuesioner keputusasaan. Data dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif, korelasi Pearson dan regresi linier ganda. Hasil analisis univariat mekanisme koping menunjukkan pada problem focused coping nilai mean adalah 15,1 dengan standar deviasi 1,80, emotional focused coping 28,2 dengan standar deviasi 3,06 serta dysfunctional coping 33,8 dengan standar deviasi 2,02. Pada disabilitas dan keputusasaan didapatkan nilai mean63,7 dengan standar deviasi 7,4 dan 9,4 dengan standar deviasi 2,4. Lebih dari setengah responden mengalami disabilitas berat(64,0%) dan mengalami keputusasaan ringan (61,0%). Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan ada hubungan signifikan antara mekanisme koping dengan keputusasaan yaitu problem focused coping r = -0,422 p = 0,000, emotional focused coping r=-0,206 p=0,014, dysfunctional coping r = -0,185 p = 0,065 dan ada hubungan signifikan antara disabilitas dengan keputusasaan r = 0,454 p = 0,000. Sub skala mekanisme koping yang memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan keputusasaan adalah active coping nilai r = -0,375 p value 0,000, behavioral disengagement nilai r = -0,357 p value 0,000 dan denial nilai r = -0,374 p value 0,000. Hasil analisis multivariat dengan regresi linier ganda diperoleh bahwa faktor dominan yang berhubungan dengan keputusasaan adalah disabilitas dengan coefficients B 0,114 dan standardizedcoefficients Beta 0,346. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan masukan bagi perawat dalam melakukan asuhan keperawatan dan menerapkan intervensi seperti edukasi untuk meningkatkan mekanisme koping adaptif serta menurunkan disabilitas sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya keputusasaan pada pasien stroke.Stroke can cause a long range of disability such as physical and cognitive disability which needs the process of control like coping mechanism. An attack in the post-stroke can cause the change in emotion like hopelessness. The objective of the research was to find out the relationship between coping mechanism and disability with hopelessness among stroke patients at hospitals in Medan. The research used analytic correlation design with cross sectional approach. The samples were 100 stroke patients, taken by using consecutive sampling technique. The data were gathered by using questionnaires of the Brief Cope Inventory, WHO Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0, and questionnaires on hopelessness. The statistical analyzed by using descriptive statistic analysis, Pearson correlation test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The mean scores of coping mechanism in problem focused coping is 15,1 with standard deviation 1,80, emotional focused coping 28,2 with standard deviation 3,06 and dysfunctional coping 33,8 with standard deviation 2,02. The mean score of disability and hopelessness were 63,7 with standard deviation 7,4 and 9,4 with standard deviation 2,4. More than half of respondents experienced severe disability(64,0%) and experienced mild hopelessness (61,0%). The result of bivariate analysis showed that there was significant correlation of coping mechanism with hopelessness that is problem focused coping at r = -0,422 p = 0,000, emotional focused coping at r = -0,206 p = 0,014, dysfunctional coping at r = -0,185 p = 0,065 and there was significant correlation of disability with hopelessness at r = 0,454 p = 0,000. Sub scale of coping mechanism which has significant relation with hopelessness is sub scale of active coping at r = -0,375 p = 0,000, behavioral disengagement at r = -0,357 p = 0,000 and denial at r = -0,374 p value 0,000. The result of multivariate analysis with multiple linear regression analysis showed that the factor which had the most dominant correlation with hopelessness was disability at coefficient β 0,114 and standardized coefficient β 0,346. The results of this research could be used as input for nurses in performing nursing care and implementing interventions such as education to improve adaptive coping mechanism and to decrease disability and to forestall the incidence of hopelessness in stroke patients.Tesis Magiste
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
