No full textThis paper identifies the constitutive elements of the right to reinforced job stability and explains its dogmatic and substantial aspects, applying a dogmatic methodology with a critical emphasis. Likewise, the paper analyzes the differences between disability, laboral incapacity and physical inhability, as well as the difficulties that exist in current regulations to rigorously define each of these concepts and the negative consequences that this lack of definition entails in the application of current regulations in particular cases. Finally, the paper concludes that the effective protection of the rights of people who are in a condition of manifest weakness and the guarantee of legal security for workers and employers requires that the legislation addresses with greater precision the aforementioned conceptsEn este trabajo se identifican los elementos que constituyen el derecho a la estabilidad laboral reforzada y se explican cada uno de sus aspectos dogmáticos y sustanciales, utilizando una metodología dogmática con un énfasis crítico. De igual forma, se analizan las diferencias entre discapacidad, invalidez e incapacidad, las dificultades que existen en la normativa vigente para definir rigurosamente cada uno de estos conceptos, y las consecuencias negativas que ello acarrea en la aplicación de la normativa vigente a casos particulares. Finalmente, en el trabajo se concluye que la protección efectiva de los derechos de las personas que se encuentran en una condición de debilidad manifiesta y la garantía de la seguridad jurídica para los trabajadores y empleadores requiere que la legislación aborde con mayor precisión los conceptos mencionado
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
The dark side of brand community: the role of brand identification, community identification, brand passion and shopping motivation
No full textPurpose: this paper aims to investigate whether consumers’ identification with a brand community makes them more likely to engage in compulsive buying behavior. Specifically, this research shows that consumers are more likely to experience obsessive passion for brands they identify with if they are also part of brand communities, which, in turn, makes them more likely to engage in compulsive buying behavior. Design/methodology/approach: an online survey (n = 533) among members of the Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth (ARMY) Bangtan Boys (BTS) brand community was conducted. A partial least squares approach was employed to test the validity and reliability of the measurement model as well as to assess the structural equation model. Findings: results show that brand identification affects harmonious and obsessive passion and that both relationships are moderated by brand community identification. Harmonious passion, in turn, has a positive effect on impulsive buying, whereas obsessive passion has a positive effect on both impulsive and obsessive-compulsive buying. Furthermore, consumer hedonic motivations moderate the relationship between (i) harmonious passion and impulsive buying and (ii) obsessive passion and obsessive-compulsive buying. Originality/value: to the best of the authors’ knowledge, this work is the first to examine the potential negative impacts brand community identification has on compulsive buying behavior. Besides contributing to research on the negative aspects of brand community identification, by employing a model that distinguishes between two types of passion and compulsive buying, the study provides clarification on relationships suggested by prior studies.</p
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
