No full textThe dissemination report (M24) is part of WP 7 Dissemination and Communication, but more specifically with Task 7.2 Dissemination and Communication activities between January 2020 (M01) and December 2023 (M48). One of the project tasks is to communicate and disseminate about the project via different communication and dissemination channels and this should be done throughout the project lifetime and after as well.
This deliverable showcases all of the communication and dissemination activities that have been developed since the beginning of the project, which means between January 2020 (M01) to December 2021 (M24). This deliverable shows the different activities and analysis of the different communication and dissemination channels.

D7.2 Project website
No full textThe main objective of the FERTIMANURE website, www.fertimanure.eu, is to act as the main communication and dissemination platform for the project. Its main objective is to increase the project’s awareness and to keep all the stakeholders up to date with the advancements and progress of the project through different publications that will be posted and displayed in the website.
The website will be monitored continuously as well as content will be added in a regular basis to make sure that it is really the main channel used to communicate with the different audiences involved in the project. Through the website, which is the most important communication channel, we will build a brand that will be recognized by the different stakeholders and that will be used as well in the other communication materials like the video, the leaflets, the logo, the poster. This brand will represent FERTIMANURE in all the communication channels, from which the website will be the most important.
The aim of this document is to briefly explain the strategy behind the creation of website, the way it was designed and the different sections that will be an integral part of it.

No full textThe main objective of the communication and dissemination material is to showcase the project in every event, conference, webinar, etc. that any of the FERTIMANURE partners will be attending throughout the duration of the project. For the first six months of the project, GreenWin decided to create a leaflet, a poster template and a roll-up template. GreenWin also created a press release in M5 of the project and an e-newsletter that will be sent on the first week of July. All of the communication and dissemination material was created taking into account the Work Package Leaders (WPL) feedback to make sure that the most relevant aspects of the project were taken into account.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Get PDFWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. No full textThe FERTIMANURE project’s main objective is to develop, integrate, test and validate innovative nutrient management strategies to efficiently recover mineral nutrients and other relevant products with agronomic value from animal manure, to finally obtain reliable and safe fertilisers that can compete in the European fertilisers market.
The aim of this document, the Dissemination and Communication Plan, is to set up the objectives and the strategies that will be taken into account as to manage the communication and dissemination activities during the lifetime of the project. During the project’s lifetime there can be some changes regarding the interest of the potential stakeholders, which will bring as a result a close review and a regular update of this Plan, in months 24, 36, and 48. The procedures and objectives below will be continuously evaluated to achieve the maximum impact, so this initial Plan may undergo some changes during the project.
