Das Online-Toolkit „Social Media for education“ zum Einsatz sozialer Medien in der Hochschullehre
No full textIm Rahmen des EU-geförderten Projekts SoMeCat untersuchten Christian Rapp und Anna Sitnikova mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen die Nutzung sozialer Medien an der Hochschule, um deren Potential für Lehre, Lernen und Forschung zu erschliessen. Beteiligt waren weiterhin Kolleginnen und Kollegen der staatlichen Universität Perm (Lehrstuhl für Politikwissenschaft), der Universität Ankara (Lehrstuhl für Informatik und das Distance Education Center) sowie das nexus Institut für Kooperationsmanagement und interdisziplinäre Forschung Berlin. Die Untersuchung ergab u.a., dass viele Dozierende sowohl Nutzen als auch Potential in der Verwendung von Social Media für Lehre und Lernen sehen, aber unsicher seien, wie sie dies in ihrer eigenen Lehrsituation realisieren könnten.
Aus diesem Grund entwickelten die Projektpartner gemeinsam ein webbasiertes Social-Media-Toolkit, dass eine bestehende Lehrsituation analysieren kann, in der Social Media eingesetzt werden soll, eine Empfehlung für die am besten passende Technologie ausspricht und didaktische Hinweise gibt, unterstützt durch Beispiele, wie man die ausgesprochene Empfehlung in der Lehrsituation nutzen kann
