    INTERAKSI SOSIAL KELUARGA YANG SELURUH ANGGOTANYA TUNARUNGU

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya hubungan sosial individu tunarungu terhadap lingkungannya. Dalam interaksi sosial, perspektif atau prasangka dan emosi yang dirasakan merupakan hal penting dalam penyesuaian diri individu dalam kehidupan sosialnya. Mengingat pentingnya hal tersebut dalam kehidupan sosial individu, sehingga ketunarunguan yang dialami oleh seluruh anggota keluarga yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini tentu akan memiliki dampak tertentu terutama di lingkungan sosial mereka, salah satunya yakni perspektif dan emosi yang berbeda mengenai orang-orang di lingkungan sosialnya yang berpengaruh pula dalam penyesuaian sosial mereka. Dengan case study design dan extreme case sampling, penelitian ini berusaha mendeskripsikan kondisi interaksi sosial keluarga yang seluruh anggotanya tunarungu di Suko Sidoarjo. Pedoman wawancara dan observasi digunakan sebagai instrumen penggalian data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perspektif keluarga tunarungu dalam interaksi sosialnya didominasi oleh perspektif negatif atas sikap dan sifat orang-orang di lingkungannya, namun perspektif positif tetap ada meski tidak sebanyak perspektif negatif, dan emosi yang dirasakan pun tidak jauh berbeda. Hal tersebut berdampak pada penyesuaian sosialnya yang juga didominasi oleh respon atau sikap negatif dalam interaksi sosialnya, terutama di lingkungan tempat tinggal mereka. On the social interaction, perspectives or prejudices and emotions felt are important to the adjustment of individuals in social life. Given its importance to the social life of individuals, so that deafness by all members of the family who the subject of this research will certainly have a certain impact, especially in their social environment, one of the them is perspectives and different emotions about the people in the social environment that influence in their social adjustment. With case study design and extreme case sampling, this study sought to describe the condition of social interaction of families who all the member are deaf in Suko Sidoarjo. Guidelines for interviews and observations used as instrument of data mining. The results showed that the perspective of deaf families in their social interactions are dominated by negative perspective on the attitude and the nature of the people in their environment, but there remains a positive perspective, though not as much as negative perspective, and the emotion felt was not much different. It has an impact on social adjustment were also dominated by the response or a negative attitude in their social interactions, especially in an environment where they live.     The Effect of Role-Playing Method on Shopping Skills in Self-Development Learning for Children with Intellectual Disability in SLB Negeri Surakarta

    This research aims to determine the effect of the role-playing method on shopping skills in self-development learning for children with intellectual disabilities at the SLB Negeri Surakarta. This is quantitative research using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this research were 8 children with mental disabilities in classes VII and VIII at the SLB Negeri Surakarta. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling. The reliability test used Krippendorff Alpha with the help of SPSS version 29. The results showed that the average pretest score was 74.53, while the average posttest score was 94.70. The results of the data analysis used the Wilcoxson Sign Rank Test statistical analysis technique, which obtained a Z value of -2.533 and an Asymptote value. Sig (2-tailed) is 0.011 with a significance level of 0.05. Asymp Results. Sig (2-tailed) can be stated to be smaller than the significance level, which means that the role-playing method influences shopping skills in self-development learning for children with intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri Surakarta

    The Relationship between Inclusive Education Policy with Teachers’ Attitude to Children with Special Needs at Inclusive School

    The aim of this study is to know the relationship between teachers’ understanding to inclusive education policy with teachers’ attitude to children with special needs at inclusive school in Pati. According to the aim, this study used correlational quantitative approach. The subject of this study were 40 teachers of inclusive school in Pati. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used was likert model scale instrument. The analysis result indicates the hypothesis is accepted, it means that there is a significant relation between the understanding of inclusive education policy with the teachers’ attitude to children with special needs by value of 2,860 > 2,061 ( > ) and significant value of < 0,05 (0,007 < 0,05). Correlation coefficiency value (R) of this study is 0,421. It means that relationship betweem teachers’ understanding to inclusive education policy with teachers’ attitude to children with special needs in Pati has a fairly strong relationship. The precentage of the influence of contribution which has understanding of inclusive education policy to the teachers’ attitude to children with special needs is 17,7% which indicates by determination coefficient () of 0,177, meanwhile the rest of 82,3% is influenced by other not examined factors

    The Effect of Differential Reinforcement of Other Behavior (DRO) on Disruptive Behavior for Intellectual Disability in SLB C Setyadarma Surakarta

    This research aims to determine the effect of Differential Reinforcement of Other Behavior on disruptive behaviour for intellectual disability in SLB C Setyadarma Surakarta. This method of research is single-subject research with an A-B-A design. The validity test was obtained through Aiken’s V formula with a coefficient of 0.75, and the reliability test received a score of 0.982. The data collection technique used observation to calculate the duration of leaving a seat without permission. Data analysis techniques are carried out using analysis within and between conditions. The result showed that the mean decreased from baseline phase 1 (A1) by 16.7 to 2.6 in intervention phase (B), and in baseline 2 (A2), it increased to 4.15. This research concludes that Differential Reinforcement of Other Behavior (DRO) affects disruptive behaviour for intellectual disability in SLB C Setyadarma Surakarta

    Implementation of the Total Communication Method in Improving the Storytelling Ability of Deaf Students in SLB B YRTRW Surakarta

    This study aims to determine the effect of total communication implementation in improving the storytelling ability of deaf students in SLB B YRTRW Surakarta. The type of research used in this study is experimental research with a research design, "one group pretest-posttest design." The validity test used is content validity, and the reliability test uses the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC), which is obtained at 0.831. The data collection technique used in this study was through a test in the form of an action test. The data analysis technique was carried out using Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test analysis. The results of this study are known from Zcount, which is -2.371, and Asymp-Sig (2-tailed), which is 0.018, with a significance level (α) of 0.05. Based on the average pretest score and post-test score show that the storytelling ability of deaf students has increased. This study concludes that the total communication method affects improving the storytelling ability of deaf students at SLB B YRTRW Surakarta in the academic year 2023/2024

    Implementasi Model Blended Learning terhadap Peningkatan Pemahaman Mata Kuliah Pembelajaran IPA bagi Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) pada Kelas Inklusi di Perguruan Tinggi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model blended learning terhadap pemahaman materi pada mata kuliah Pembelajaran IPA bagi ABK pada kelas inklusi di perguruan tinggi. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain eksperimen kuasi One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 38 orang mahasiswa yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah Pembelajaran IPA bagi ABK pada kelas inklusi di perguruan tinggi. Dua di antara subjek tersebut adalah mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus tunanetra dan tunarungu. Pengukuran terhadap pemahaman materi dilakukan sebanyak dua kali, yaitu sebelum dan sesudah penerapan blended learning diberikan. Hasil yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan paired t-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa terdapat kenaikan rata-rata skor pretes (65,16) dan skor posttes (73,87), dengan nilai t=-9,321 dengan p=0,0001 (p&lt;0,05). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan blended learning terhadap peningkatan pemahaman mata kuliah Pembelajaran IPA bagi ABK pada kelas inklusi di perguruan tinggi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) mengetahui pengaruh blended learning terhadap penguasaan materi Bahasa Indonesia, 2) mengetahui respons mahasiswa tunarungu dan tunanetra terhadap pemanfaatan aksesibilitas dalam blended learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian mix method. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh blended learning digunakan Randomized Posttest only Control Group Design. Populasinya adalah mahasiswa semester 3 Pendidikan Khusus Universitas Sebelas Maret dan sampelnya yaitu kelas A sebagai kelas eksperimen, kelas B sebagai kelas kontrol. Untuk mengetahui respons mahasiswa tunarungu dan tunanetra melalui metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji t penguasan materi didapat thitung = 6,64 &gt; = ttabel =1,66, menunjukkan ada perbedaan, sedangkan untuk uji lanjut yaitu uji Tuckey menunjukkan Qhitung = 7,55 &gt; Qtabel = 2,85, menunjukan bahwa penguasaan materi mahasiswa yang menggunakan blended learning lebih tinggi daripada konvensional. Respons mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan blended learning dalam mata kuliah bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan hasil observasi sangat aktif, wawancara cukup baik, dan dokumentasi sangat baik. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah 1) ada pengaruh blended learning terhadap penguasaan materi Bahasa Indonesia, 2) respons mahasiswa tunarungu dan tunanetra sangat baik

    Learning Video with Sign Language to Improve Reproductive Health Awareness for Deaf Adolescents

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of learning video media in sign language to determine the increase in reproductive health awareness for deaf adolescents. This type of research is experimental research, using One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. The subjects in this study were deaf adolescents with a targeted sample technique. Data collection with objective tests in the form of multiple choices. The validity test of the instrument used content validity with the calculation of Aiken's V, and the reliability test of the instrument used the consistency assessment technique of the raters. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test obtained the results of Zcount: -2.371 with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed): 0.018 or p: 0.018 smaller than α: 0.05. As a result, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it is known that learning video media in sign language is effective in increasing awareness of deaf adolescents regarding reproductive health

    PARENTAL COMPETENCIES IN PROVIDING SERVICES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AUTISTIC CHILDREN

    Anak autis memiliki gangguan perkembangan yang sangat komplek  perilaku, interaksi sosial, komunikasi dan bahasa, bahkan gangguan perkembangan sensorik, emotional dan motorik. Kompetensi orang tua tentang pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang anak autis dan cara penangananya sangat penting guna membantu untuk meningkatkan perkembangan anak autis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatakan gambaran kompetensi pengetahuan dan keterampilan orang tua dalam membantu anaknya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik pengambilan data melalui survey dan diskusi. Hasil yang penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan orang tua dari anak autis meliputi: 1) 38% orang tua tidak mengetahui/mengenali minat dan bakat anak, 2) 57% orang tua tidak mengetahui cara/metode penanganan anaknya, 3) 34% orang tua tidak mengetahui program bagi pendidikan anak, 4) 53% orang tua tidak terlibat belajar bersama komunitas orang tua dari anak autis, 5) 65% orang tua tidak pernah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan/seminar khusus penanganan anak autis, 6) 26% orang tua tidak melakukan konsultasi secara rutin dengan sekolah/ahli anak autis, dan 7) 34% orang tua tidak dapat mengembangkan bakat/potensi anak.Â
